The three bantered back and forth, supposed to keep quiet but growing louder by the second. Since they couldn’t protect the treasures, at least they could vent with words.

The female emperor waved her hand, pulling them out and hanging them on a crooked-neck tree with three ropes.

A tsking sound rang out as Shen Zun arrived with his hands behind his back. Passing the crooked-neck tree, he glanced at it.

"What are you looking at?"

Chaos Ding cursed loudly, with Chaos Huo and Chaos Lei joining in the racket. We’re not monkeys, you know.

Then came these sounds. The female emperor had a violent streak, and Shen Zun’s temper wasn’t much better. A slap from him, and the three fell silent immediately. Ye Chen had been knocked out, and they clearly couldn’t handle the situation.

"Meeting means splitting half."

Shen Zun strolled over to Ye Chen’s side, seemingly on purpose or perhaps not noticing, and stepped right on Ye Chen’s face. That handsome countenance now bore a bold footprint.

"Not your share."

The female emperor glanced at him. The treasures she’d swept away were safely stashed—did he really think he could snatch them?

Shen Zun couldn’t help but sigh.

He remembered the old days when he and his sister had pulled off their fair share of robberies, always splitting half when they met.

The female emperor caught his look and smiled smugly.

The mighty Huang Di and Heavenly Court commander might only show this playful side in front of her brother. Where was the supreme dignity now? Seeing Shen Zun deflated lifted her spirits.

"I hear from those young ones that the realms have a treasure called the collector’s edition. I’m quite curious about it, brother."

Shen Zun got to work, rummaging through Ye Chen’s body and scouring every corner of his small world.

Alas, he found nothing.

The female emperor, upon hearing this, shot him a sideways glance. As expected, her brother never showed up without an agenda—he was after the collector’s edition.

"Let me borrow one to look at."

Shen Zun extended his hand, dead serious. After all, Ye Chen was the Holy Body Supreme—was it right to rob him so thoroughly?

"If Qi Huan were still here, I wonder what she’d think."

The female emperor sighed. She definitely wouldn’t hand it over. And calling her Huang Di? What hadn’t she seen? Why would she need a collector’s edition?

Shen Zun fell silent, subconsciously touching his face.

Mentioning Qi Huan made his face sting inexplicably. Their first meeting, she’d slapped him. Every beating afterward targeted his face especially.

He deserved those beatings, though.

Xuan Di got hammered, and so did Huangquan Tian Di. Shen Zun hadn’t forgotten their earlier insults to the female emperor. Did they really think they could demand treasures from Huang Di?

The peak of Taigu fell into tranquility.

Elsewhere, Di Zun was still battling his tribulation.

The emperor tribulation of thunder had dissipated, replaced by manifestations of emperor laws—all at the Tian Di level, with likely more at the quasi-Huang Di level to come.

It was all because Di Zun was too powerful and extraordinary. The stronger the person, the more terrifying the heavenly tribulation—a timeless truth.

The female emperor remained undistracted, focusing on the fusion.

As the Tian Zi integrated, Ye Chen’s physique became even more extraordinary. His indestructible emperor body glowed brilliantly, with one character forming a universe within him. The female emperor quickly intervened, forcibly extracting the second character. As she expected, the two universes clashed destructively. Any longer, and the Tian Di-level Holy Body might have turned to dust.

Without the second character, Ye Chen’s damaged emperor body began to regenerate on its own. The scattered blood and bones returned to his body, and his nearly collapsed primordial spirit reformed.
