Chapter 2618: Forcing Entry?

Chapter 2618: Force Entry?

Boom! Bang! Boom!

Inside Buzhou Shan, the rumbling continued without end, accompanied by the wailing of fierce ghosts and blasts of chilling wind. It no longer felt like a forbidden land, but rather a massive tomb, within which countless spirits remained restless.

Hundreds of thousands of experts from Tianting were inside, like headless flies, bumping into each other aimlessly. They couldn't find Ye Chen, nor could they find a way out, and each one was filled with frustration.

Outside the mountain, the Tianting army stood in formation. They had waited for three days, but not a single expert had emerged—nor had Ye Chen.

Perhaps it was because everyone's attention was focused on Ye Chen, or perhaps on Tianzun as they left, but no one noticed their departure. The two had already escaped to the horizon without a soul detecting it.

"What's next?" Tianzun said with a chuckle.

"The lower realm," Ye Chen replied casually, holding a wine flask. With Buzhou Shan having drawn the full attention of Tianting, now was the perfect time to head down.

"Great minds think alike," Shura Tianzun chuckled, taking the wine flask Ye Chen offered. They couldn't stay in the upper realm any longer; they needed a safe place to heal and restore their full strength.

The two exchanged smiles and stepped into a domain gate together.

"You brat, where did you come from?" As soon as they entered, Taiyi poked his head out, with Taibai Jinxing and Siming Xingjun looking utterly bewildered.

"A teleportation array," Ye Chen said nonchalantly, casually taking a divine tablet and fusing it into Yuexin's body for later use.

"What about ours?"

"You all have one." Ye Chen waved his hand, and divine tablets appeared for everyone. These contained accumulated merits from many years, which he couldn't afford to waste.

Once they exited the domain gate, Ye Chen collected the others.

From a distance, they could see Nantian Men.

Just as Ye Chen had anticipated, the guards at Nantian Men were fewer than before, likely because Yin Ming had pulled many away to attack Buzhou Shan. Even the border troops had been redeployed, let alone those at Nantian Men.

Even so, Nantian Men allowed no one to leave.

"Force our way through?" Taiyi raised an eyebrow.

"Take advantage of the chaos," Ye Chen smiled, merging into the void and glancing toward one side.

"Charge!"

Suddenly, shouts erupted as a dense crowd surged out of the space. They were great demons and great devils, their demonic energy surging and magical aura rolling. There were tens of thousands of them, all at the Quasi-Emperor level, with overwhelming vital energy.

These were the major demons and devils from the scattered immortal realm. They had caused chaos in the heavenly palace earlier but left too late, getting trapped in the upper realm. Now, seeing the weakened defenses at Nantian Men, they were teaming up to break out.

The heavenly soldiers and generals paled at the sight. They had the numbers on their side, but in terms of elite strength, the enemy completely overwhelmed them.

"Anyone who blocks us dies." A great devil roared, brandishing a divine blade and charging ahead, sweeping forth with overwhelming demonic energy that made the void rumble.

Behind him, the great demons and devils were equally ferocious. This was a rare opportunity, with Yin Ming too occupied to interfere, so they pressed on with all their might to escape.

"Hold them back!" A heavenly general shouted, activating the offensive formations as the soldiers and generals arrayed themselves, resisting while sending pleas for reinforcements to Tianting.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

The battle erupted, filling the sky with thunderous roars. The scattered immortal realm's fighters were incredibly fierce, showing no desire to prolong the fight as they charged straight through, sending heavenly soldiers and generals flying and exploding into blood mist in droves.

With such mismatched forces, the heavenly side was at a clear disadvantage. At this rate, they might be wiped out before reinforcements arrived—the enemy was just too savage.

"Now's the time." Ye Chen's eyes flashed as he shot forward like a divine rainbow, slipping through the gaps in the crowd, past Nantian Men, and straight toward the edge of the Milky Way.

Like him, groups of great demons and devils burst through, each moving faster than the last. The heavenly soldiers and generals couldn't stop them and didn't dare pursue.

"Ah, the air in the scattered immortal realm is so fresh." Once they crossed the Milky Way, Tianzun took a deep breath at the furnace's mouth. It was his first time descending since leaving Shura Realm hundreds of years ago.

Ye Chen smiled and put on a black robe.

As he gradually moved away, the shouts of battle behind them faded. The heavenly soldiers and generals had been utterly defeated, with many dead or wounded, blood staining Nantian Men. As for the great demons and devils, they had long crossed the Milky Way and vanished.

Quietly, night fell with stars filling the sky.

Ye Chen stopped outside Huashan. Under the moonlight, Huashan was peaceful and serene, draped in a layer of radiant immortal glow and enveloped by countless barriers, as solid as a fortress.

Following Ye Chen's transmission, a section of the barrier opened, and he slipped inside quietly.

On Kunlun Peak, many figures gathered: Huashan Zhenren, Huashan Xianzi, Diyuan Zhenren, and others, all looking at Ye Chen as if he were some kind of monster.

Ever since Ye Chen ascended to Tianting, the upper realm hadn't known peace. He had defeated Danjun and Danzong, raided the Dan God Hall, stormed the heavenly prison, and faced millions in siege.

That day, when Ye Chen wanted to go to Tianting, they had all tried to stop him, thinking he was just an official fanatic. Little did they know, he was going to stir up trouble.

"Just got word that the Tianting army is still surrounding Buzhou Shan," Diyuan Zhenren sighed. "They probably never imagined you're no longer there."

"They'll find out eventually," Ye Chen laughed, his eyes gleaming with sharp light. When that happened, Yin Ming would surely send troops to the lower realm, with Huashan as the first target. A war would erupt, sweeping across the entire celestial realm.

But he remained calm. The scattered immortal realm had realm suppression; even an old immortal like Xianzun would be reduced to Saint level upon descending. In equal tiers, he was a king.

Tianzun also emerged, surveying the area like a leader on inspection. This made the group of old figures feel awkward. It was Tianzun's first visit to the lower realm, and they were seeing him for the first time. Meeting him now, he was indeed extraordinary.

Recalling the past, this demonic overlord, like Ye Chen, had once turned the upper realm upside down, even drawing the Jade Emperor into battle. It took countless experts to suppress him, leaving mountains of corpses and rivers of blood.

His freedom was thanks to Ye Chen.

Rescuing someone from the heavenly prison and routing the soldiers and generals—that was Ye Chen's feat alone. And he had saved Tianzun, an act that defied the heavens.

Now, with Young Master Ye back and Shura Tianzun by his side, this peerless demonic figure and heavenly-defying prodigy made quite the pair.

Late at night, Ye Chen departed with a flick of his sleeve.

Returning to Chiyan Peak, he felt a surge of emotions. His trip to Tianting had brought both fortunes and perils, a true brush with death. Surviving and returning was sheer luck.

Soon, the reincarnated people arrived.

There were quite a few of them—some found in the upper immortal realm, others in the scattered immortal realm—from various forces in Great Chu, both elders and juniors. The moment they saw Ye Chen, tears streamed down their faces.

What followed was an emotional scene. Yuexin was tearful, reuniting with her homeland people after a full cycle of reincarnation; her feelings were indescribable.

At the mountaintop, the scent of wine filled the air as the reincarnated gathered, quietly gazing at the vast sky, as if they could see through the endless void to that beautiful land.

"They're all crying and laughing—have they lost their minds?"

In the distance, Taiyi watched in astonishment, Taibai was baffled, and even Siming, who knew some secrets, looked puzzled.

At some point, Ye Chen leaned against a rock and fell into a deep sleep, still clutching his wine flask. A gentle breeze stirred, lifting his snow-white hair and brushing it against his weathered face, again and again.

He was exhausted—he was truly worn out.

The reincarnated people all rose, lining up neatly in rows, including the *** King and Yuexin. They bowed deeply to Ye Chen. It was this white-haired youth, facing the passage of time and dust of the roads, who had found them one by one, just to bring them home.

This was the lifelong mission of Great Chu's tenth emperor: through a hundred turns and a thousand twists, until death.

In the silence, the reincarnated people quietly withdrew, leaving Ye Chen alone to sleep peacefully. It was the first time he had slept so soundly since the great calamity and his ascent to the heavens.

That night, a haze enveloped Huashan as many transmission domain gates opened, transporting heavenly stones. With Ye Chen back at Huashan, Tianting would attack sooner or later. Heavenly stones were the source for maintaining formations—it would be a war of attrition.

In the upper realm, at Buzhou Shan.

Haomiao Xianzun, seated in the void, finally opened his eyes. His hand seals shifted, sending a beam of immortal light into Buzhou Shan, transforming it into a brilliant immortal path.

"You have only one hour—follow this path out of the mountain."

Haomiao Xianzun's words echoed through Buzhou Shan via the immortal path. His face was deathly pale; to guide the Tianting experts out, this old Xianzun had exhausted himself completely. Using this immortal technique had damaged his foundation and nearly cost him his life.

Hearing his words, the Tianting experts in Buzhou Shan rushed toward the immortal path, with even the previously trapped immortals joining the throng.

Once out of Buzhou Shan, the heavenly soldiers and generals surrounded them, each holding a divine mirror to check individuals, fearing Ye Chen might have slipped in.

Hundreds of thousands of experts took a long time to inspect, and in the end, Ye Chen was nowhere to be seen.

Thus, the soldiers and generals regrouped, sealing off Buzhou Shan completely with layers of formations, waiting for Ye Chen to emerge.

Yin Ming's face twisted in grotesque fury, his body trembling with rage. He had sent hundreds of thousands of troops in, only to fail to capture Ye Chen and suffer heavy losses instead.

"Your Majesty, Nantian Men has fallen."

"A bunch of useless rabble." Yin Ming snorted coldly, showing no interest in the so-called Nantian Men. His eyes were fixed solely on Buzhou Shan. Not even if his ancestral tomb were dug up would he care; his mind was consumed with how to kill Ye Chen.

In the void, Haomiao Xianzun had already descended and entered a jade carriage to meditate and heal. He didn't advise Yin Ming to withdraw, for he was angry too. The losses to Tianting and his own severe injuries were grudges he sought to avenge, demanding Ye Chen pay in blood.

And so, millions of troops stood rigidly in place, holding their ground without advancing. No one entered anymore—they were just blocking the entrance, refusing to believe Ye Chen wouldn't come out.

Tsk, tsk, tsk!

Xuan Emperor's phantom sighed, hands clasped as he watched. He was quite impressed with Yin Ming, wondering how the Jade Emperor had chosen such a fool to rule Tianting—millions of troops blockading for one man.

Boom! Rumble!

Sudden booms rang out, making him look up sharply toward the distant void. Even with his composure, he felt a tremor of unease, sensing something ominous.

The rumbles came from the ancient wilderness.

The trio—Di Huang and his companions—had encountered the heavenly demons again. In a fierce battle, they shattered the cosmos, slaying two heavenly demon emperors and leaving the demon soldiers' corpses strewn everywhere. Before the other demon emperors arrived, they vanished, conveniently cleaning up the battlefield.

This fight was their most glorious since arriving. Previously, every encounter with the heavenly demons had ended in pursuit; finally, they had turned the tables.
