Boom! Rumbling!
The long-silent Sanxian Realm was stirring up a major commotion once more.
From a bird's-eye view, streams of figures converged from all directions, merging into a vast ocean that surged toward Nan Tian Men, forming an enormous formation.
“It really is Yin Ming stirring up trouble,” Taiyi Zhenren cursed. Originally a civil official, he had now armed himself for battle, his eyes blazing with fury, absolutely infuriated.
“Could Tai Gong have returned to Tian Ting?” Taibai frowned, glancing at Siming beside him. “What do you think?”
“I don't know if Tai Gong is in Tian Ting, but his divine artifact is definitely there,” Siming said, gazing up at the vast sky. He could sense a powerful pressure through the void, enveloping the entire upper realm in immortal mist.
As soon as he spoke, both Taiyi Zhenren and Taibai understood, and they both sneered. “What a clever scheme! If we hadn't abandoned our innate divine positions, we'd probably be back in Tian Ting by now!”
“If she's harmed, we'll fight to the death.” The reincarnated ones had arrived too, each radiating killing intent, summoning the same fighting spirit they had against the heavenly demons.
“Holy Lord, when will you emerge from seclusion!”
They had already traveled far, yet many of the reincarnated ones still turned back, hoping that the young man would lead them into battle as he had in the past.
As for Ye Chen, he was in a miserable state within the realm, relentlessly chased by the nine great seals, fleeing wildly while cursing all the way.
He was unaware of the external events, oblivious that the reincarnated ones from Da Chu had been reverse-summoned by Tian Ting, and that Hua Shan had exhausted its foundations.
Fortunately, his Zhou Tian deduction had caught up with the changes in the realm's universe. Now that it had, finding a way out was just a matter of time.
Boom! Rumbling!
The heavens trembled, and the sky rumbled.
The various forces' armies had merged into one.
However, compared to their previous stand against Tian Ting, this lineup was far from comparable. There was Kunlun, but no Si Yue, and many factions were absent.
“With this level of forces, going there is basically suicide.”
“Yin Ming's move is brilliant!”
“The mighty ruler of Tian Ting using such despicable tricks—it's disgusting. The Yu Di must be blind to choose someone like him as ruler.”
“It'll be another mountain of corpses and sea of blood.”
The people were alarmed, standing on various small hills, watching the allied forces depart.
Everyone knew that this expedition for the allied forces likely meant no return. Even with the full strength of Sanxian Realm, they might not breach Nan Tian Men, let alone with less than a third of their army. This force would be utterly annihilated by the upper realm's Tian Ting.
Meanwhile, Shura Tianzun had already reached Nan Tian Men.
Gazing ahead, the gate was lined with fluttering war banners. Squads of cultivators stood in neat formations, with massive void arrays deployed and divine weapons hovering like brilliant stars.
Bang!
Tianzun stepped down, shaking the universe. His deep eyes were streaked with blood vessels, turning crimson, and dark flames burned across his body. Whether it was overwhelming battle intent or rage, it distorted the space around him.
“All troops, heed my command.”
“Let him pass.” Before the old Immortal Monarch could finish, Yin Yang interrupted.
Though the heavenly soldiers and generals were confused, they cleared a path, each gripping their battle spears, many trembling from the icy killing intent of Tianzun.
Tianzun said nothing, carrying his divine saber as he stepped forward. He paused only when passing Yin Yang, his expression neutral.
“Who performed the reverse summon?”
Tianzun asked flatly. The calmer he sounded, the more terrifying he became, much like the tenth emperor of Da Chu, whose tranquility always preceded raging fury.
“I did,” Yin Yang replied with a single word.
“Keep your life intact; I'll come for it another day.” Shura Tianzun spoke, then stepped into a domain gate, heading straight for Tian Ting's Lingxiao Bao Dian.
Behind him, Yin Yang's face paled slightly, not from fear, but from the weight of his own deeds.
Indeed, it was he who had used the reverse summon, aided by Tai Gong's divine artifact, Da Shen Bian. As Siming had guessed, Da Shen Bian was truly in the upper realm.
And in all of Tian Ting, only Yin Yang could use Da Shen Bian for reverse summoning, due to his unique innate divine position.
Unfortunately, his cultivation was limited; he couldn't move Ye Chen or Tian Qing. Among the rebels, aside from those who had abandoned their divine positions, he could only summon Yue Xin.
This was the secret order given to him by the Tian Ting ruler that day.
Yin Ming's intentions were clearer to him than to anyone. Today, Shura Tianzun would serve as a prime example—one with no return.
Boom! Rumbling!
In the distance, thunderous sounds erupted as the Sanxian Realm's allied forces crossed the Milky Way's boundary, charging toward Nan Tian Men. Some rode swords, others flew on clouds, and some drove war chariots, with mists rolling and killing intent soaring.
This time, Yin Yang did not order them to stand aside.
This was also the ruler's command: Let Shura Tianzun pass, let Ye Chen pass, let Tian Qing pass—but no one else could cross Nan Tian Men.
“Kill! Kill for me!”
“All troops, attack!”
The allied forces had just arrived when they were assaulted by Nan Tian Men's defenders. Array lights rained down, obliterating swaths of figures into ash.
The allied side also unleashed their killing arrays.
However, Nan Tian Men's defenses were extraordinarily strong. While Sanxian Realm excelled at defensive warfare, Tian Ting was no slouch, especially with the undefeated war god guarding it. This formation was impenetrable.
“Yin Yang, you son of a bitch, I really overestimated you!” The Jiao Long King roared, standing in the void and pointing at Yin Yang's nose.
Yin Yang remained silent, standing still like a statue.
“Fight! Fight for me!” Niu Mo Wang howled, wielding his battle axe and charging ahead. The Sanxian Realm's alliance consisted of those unafraid of death, attacking with all their might.
Boom! Bang! Boom!
The rumbling shook the Milky Way as the two sides clashed ferociously. Blood flowed, staining the galaxy red.
It was clear that Sanxian Realm was at a disadvantage. Not only could they not breach Nan Tian Men, but their losses were catastrophic. Repeated assaults were repelled, and even someone as strong as Niu Mo Wang nearly met his end.
In Lingxiao Bao Dian, figures crowded the hall.
Before the palace, a dragon throne was placed, where Yin Ming lounged comfortably, toying with a string of Buddhist prayer beads, a playful smile on his lips mixed with cruelty.
At his side was Yue Xin.
She wore a vibrant red wedding dress but was sealed, unable to move. Her beautiful eyes were filled with worry. If she could suicide, she would have gone to the Yellow Springs, but in Tian Ting, she lacked even that option, like a puppet being manipulated.
Looking below, many immortals were present.
Since Lingxiao Bao Dian's rebuilding, this was the first time so many had gathered—not for court, but for the ruler's wedding, which was quite the spectacle.
In the shadows, numerous experts hid, their auras concealed—veteran immortal venerables and monarchs, in great numbers, waiting silently.
Ah!
The immortals sighed, knowing Yin Ming's scheme: using Yue Xin as bait to lure the big fish from Sanxian Realm. As Tian Ting's ruler, resorting to such vile tactics was disgraceful.
“Don't bother scheming,” Yue Xin said indifferently. “I'm just a minor immortal—who would be foolish enough to save me?”
“That remains to be seen,” Yin Yang chuckled darkly.
“You're still as pitiful as ever,” Yue Xin replied calmly. From start to finish, she never looked at Yin Ming, and showed no fear—only worry.
“Look, the big fish is here.” Yin Ming laughed as he stood, like a mischievous child, pointing excitedly in one direction, on the verge of jumping with glee.
Without him saying, Yue Xin saw it too. Through the misty depths, a human form gradually appeared, heading straight toward them.
It was Shura Tianzun, striding on the immortal river with a vast starry sky above his head, wielding a blood-dripping divine saber. He was like a demon god from hell, radiating killing intent.
“He really came.” The Tian Ting immortals were stunned. Was this the power of love? The Tianzun from Shura Realm, who once caused chaos in the heavenly palace, was now rushing to Tian Ting to die for a minor star lord. It was beyond expectation.
No wonder he was Tian Ting's ruler—he understood Tianzun well and had banked on his arrival. Now, his plot had succeeded. Could he leave alive today?
“Go! Just go!” Yue Xin transmitted, her indifferent eyes suddenly welling with tears. She never imagined Shura Tianzun would truly come.
Tianzun smiled, not slowing his pace.
“Tianzun, I hope you've been well,” Yin Ming said with a sinister smile. “I'm getting married, and you've come from afar—I'm honored beyond words.”
“I thought your father was disgusting enough, but you're even more vile,” Shura Tianzun sneered, his eyes flashing with cold light. “Using a woman as leverage—how original.”
“The process doesn't matter; what matters is that you're here.” Yin Ming laughed eerily, gently tracing his fingers along Yue Xin's cheek as if caressing a work of art. “In Tianzun's eyes, does my empress look beautiful?”
Tianzun snorted coldly and stepped across the universe, his divine saber humming as he raised it.
But the saber halted mid-air, for Yin Ming now held a dagger—a soul-severing one—pressed against Yue Xin's shoulder. In an instant, it could destroy her soul.
That gesture clearly warned: Move, and she's gone.
“I've come; let her go,” Shura Tianzun said, suppressing his rage and glaring at Yin Ming.
“That depends on whether Tianzun behaves,” Yin Ming said, baring his pale teeth like a demon. He licked the dagger's cold blade.
“Please, just go!” Yue Xin was in tears, unable to move, her voice choked as she transmitted.
Tianzun stood silently, unmoved.
“As Tian Ting's ruler, it's rare for me to wed, and Tianzun arrives empty-handed without a gift—how improper,” Yin Ming said, eyeing Shura Tianzun slyly. “So, I'll shamelessly ask for one.”
“What item?”
“Ye Chen's life.”
