Chapter 3067: Return to the Human Realm

The unknown domain resonated with endless rumbling.

With so many Supreme Beings locked in combat, the commotion was immense. Even from the outside, faint tremors could be heard.

"Is there a fight happening inside?"

At the edge of the Primordial Chaos, on the mountain peaks, many Supreme Beings gathered at the boundary, all straining their ears. The rumbling was faint and intermittent, difficult to discern whether it was real or imagined, separated by a vast void that made clear hearing impossible.

They couldn't distinguish it, but Xuanyuan, a Quasi Emperor, heard it clearly. It was indeed a battle emanating from that vortex.

The one who heard it most distinctly was the Celestial Court Empress. Without even looking, she knew it was lively inside—likely the generations of Supreme Beings refusing to back down, intending to test the little one, only to end up being beaten senseless by the child alone.

Her prediction was spot on.

For the Supreme Beings within the unknown domain, the scene was truly embarrassing. So many emperors were being pounded into submission.

Now, looking up at the sky, visions were manifesting, but they weren't from the Supreme Beings—they were from the little one, growing stronger by the moment, occasionally unleashing secret techniques.

As for the Supreme Beings' Dao manifestations, none dared to reveal them, because the little one could even devour visions.

Over time, that little thing set its sights on Ye Chen, growing smarter and knowing who was the tastier target. Due to Ye Chen repeatedly reversing the laws, it was stimulated time and again, and in a few moments, hints of a violent aura leaked out.

"Block it."

The generations of Supreme Beings snorted coldly, refusing to retreat after the long battle, repaying their debt to Ye Chen. Whether they could revive Ye Fan, they didn't know, but they knew Ye Chen needed time. It was because he had revived them earlier that it stimulated the little one, making it so aggressive. If they had focused on reviving Ye Fan right from the start, it might not have been this difficult.

At least back then, the little one could still be tricked, but with the laws reversing and repeated shocks and stimulations, it was no longer easily fooled. It was now truly defending its domain, and if anyone disrespected that, it would lash out.

"Return."

Ye Chen roared lowly, a soul-shaking bellow. The backlash he suffered grew more terrifying, his Sacred Body occasionally shattering, with golden blood overflowing, even his bloodline struggling to regenerate on the spot.

His madness wasn't in vain. The traces of Ye Fan's existence had been etched out bit by bit from the heavenly tribulation lightning, offering hope for reviving the child.

In the cauldron, the bodies of the divine generals tensed up, no one daring to breathe as they stared fixedly at Ye Chen, at the heavenly tribulation lightning, and at the traces being etched out. If this truly succeeded, it would be a tremendous fortune for all realms—perhaps even those who had died in battle could return to the Human World through this method.

And toward Ye Fan, they all felt deep guilt.

Back at the Jade Pond's Dao Proving, the battle across the realms was incredibly fierce. It was the Eastern Desolation Female Emperor and the Celestial Court Empress who turned the tide, the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body who fought the nine emperors alone, but at its core, it was the heavenly tribulation body, Ye Fan, who truly influenced the war.

Without his selfless sacrifice, there would have been no desperate rebirth for Ye Chen and Jade Pond, let alone repelling the outer domains.

"Fan, come back."

Ye Chen's roar escaped through gritted teeth, hysterical, with veins bulging on his forehead one after another, and murky bloody tears welling in his eyes.

There was a guilt that the common people felt, and he felt it too. He had lived up to the entire world, but not to his own child, who bore the pain that should have been his and Jade Pond's, tormented endlessly by heavenly tribulation.

The moment Ye Fan died in his arms years ago, he had collapsed, to the point of disregarding the world, willing to trade anything for his child.

This was an obsession of a father, eternal and un extinguishable. Only by coming to this lawless unknown domain had he truly ignited the flame of hope.

He would defy the rules and forcibly drag Ye Fan, who had vanished in the river of time, back to the Human World.

"It's here."

The Chaos Cauldron hummed excitedly, for the traces of Ye Fan's existence had been forcibly manifested into consciousness by Ye Chen. Though weak and at risk of being extinguished at any moment, it was real, meaning Ye Fan could be revived—it was just a matter of time.

"My father is the greatest War God."

"My mother will be the most astonishing Female Emperor."

"The fortunes of all realms will endure forever."

Still these three lines, like an indelible brand etched deep in Ye Chen's soul.

But now, these words weren't from his memories—they came from Ye Fan's consciousness, preserved in that instant before his burial, as a faint, ancient belief in his muddled state.

"Watch out."

From the vast sky above, Xuan Di shouted suddenly, because the little one had vanished from the heights and appeared in the void near Ye Chen. It had lost interest in the generations of Supreme Beings and was now targeting him, whether because he was tastier or because he had reversed the rules too many times—who knew? In any case, it wanted to devour him completely.

Seeing this, Ye Chen fled into the sky, reversing the laws while dodging the little one.

*Pfft!*

A spray of golden blood appeared; though he dodged quickly, he was still caught in an instant, one arm torn off.

He should be grateful that the little one hadn't fully awakened as the domain's master yet. If it had, he wouldn't have escaped anywhere, for then it would be the heaven above the Heavenly Dao.

*Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!*

The void scene was gruesomely bloody. Ye Chen fled relentlessly, the little one shadowing him like a ghost, tearing off an arm and even dislodging his spine. That once eternal and indestructible emperor body was nearly torn to pieces, with emperor bones stained in sacred blood scattering across the vast void.

"You little thing, where do you think you're going?"

Behind him, the crowd of old Supreme Beings chased desperately, but unfortunately, they couldn't catch the little one or draw its attention. It was fixated on Ye Chen, as if it wouldn't stop until he was consumed.

Due to its relentless pursuit, Ye Chen was in utter misery. His Sacred Body was shattered, blood and bones exposed, no longer resembling a human form. On top of that, he suffered from the little one's backlash, making his reversal of the laws frequently obstructed.

"Return."

Ye Chen shouted resoundingly, secretly altering certain rules to instantly etch the consciousness of Ye Fan, which should have taken much time to reshape, into a true form. Perhaps because he had been buried for so long, in a state of slumber, both his memories and mind were still muddled, requiring time to regain clarity.

In that instant, the heavenly tribulation body returned to the Human World.

Also in that instant, the Supreme of the Sacred Body lineage nearly met his end at the little one's hands, his head twisted off. The headless body made even the divine generals and Supreme Beings draw in a sharp breath—what a terrifying sight; in front of the little one, no one was a match.

Ye Chen felt no pain; his primordial spirit was laughing, overwhelmed with excitement.

The process didn't matter, nor how miserable it was—what mattered was that he had pulled his child back to the Human World. This was just the first one; given enough time, he could revive more.

"We can't stimulate it anymore."

The Supreme Beings crossed the void and arrived at Ye Chen's side. The severely wounded ones fell into the Chaos Cauldron, with the Quasi Emperor blocking one side as the little one lunged at Ye Chen again restlessly.

It was right not to stimulate it.

The little one's series of actions made it clear, even to a fool, that defying the laws here would invite its attack. It was already frightening in its incomplete form; if it fully evolved into the true master, none of them, including the Quasi Emperor, would escape.

It was truly embarrassing—ever since entering the Primordial Chaos, this was the first time the generations of Supreme Beings had teamed up against an enemy, only to be thoroughly defeated by a little one, with missing limbs being the least of it. Those whose physical bodies were destroyed and primordial spirits severely damaged were the ones truly suffering.

And Ye Chen was one of them. His shattered Sacred Body was no different from being exploded, and his backlash-afflicted primordial spirit showed signs of disintegration. Reversing the rules came at a cost.

Fortunately, his foundation was strong enough; even without his head, he escaped nimbly, thanks to the Supreme Beings delaying it, barely severing the backlash.

Next, they needed to escape this unknown domain. The first goal was achieved, and Ye Fan was revived—retreating was the wise move. After a few days, they could return and perhaps revive others.

Hee hee hee!

The little one's laughter was childish and milky, yet it carried a hint of ferocity and majesty, along with a magical power that even made the Quasi Emperor feel dazed.

The situation now was somewhat similar to Ye Chen's first visit. He had gathered the Supreme Beings and was fleeing everywhere, while the little one pursued with unyielding dedication. Once it caught up, it pounced and bit, devouring the flesh it tore off without a trace.

"Take it out to fight the Heavenly Dao, and it would be quite the spectacle."

Gui Di said meaningfully.

The generations of Supreme Beings could only listen to those words—they couldn't let it go outside. If it really devoured the Heavenly Dao, they would all become its next meal. It ate whatever it saw, leaving nothing behind, which was no different from world destruction, and perhaps even more thorough. This unknown domain was a perfect example.

"This life has not been lived in vain!"

Many Supreme Beings sighed inwardly. They had seen all sorts of grand scenes, but this little one was the most bizarre in their experiences, sparking even more curiosity than the Heavenly Dao itself.

*Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!*

As they spoke, the Chaos Cauldron trembled violently—or more precisely, the Dun Jia Celestial Characters engraved on it were activating, one after another, glowing with golden light and growing increasingly agitated, as if about to burst out, even affecting the cauldron itself and causing lightning and various visions to manifest inside.

The Supreme Beings raised their eyebrows; this was unexpected. They knew as little about the Dun Jia Celestial Characters as they did about the little one, each character shrouded in mystery.

"Big boss."

The Chaos Cauldron called out, caught off guard by the Dun Jia Celestial Characters' movement. Since they were engraved, this was the first time such a strange phenomenon had occurred.

"It's trembling because of it."

Ye Chen furrowed his brow, his gaze deepening, referring to the little one chasing him. The Dun Jia Celestial Characters' agitation was all due to it.

This was intriguing.

Clearly, the two were connected in some way, perhaps even originating from the same place.

If what the female emperor said that day was true, and the Dun Jia Celestial Characters and Dun Jia Celestial Book truly came from the Eternal Immortal Realm, then this little thing was likely from there too.

"So, you're the outsider."

Ye Chen murmured subconsciously, glancing back at the little one pursuing him. If it was from the Eternal Immortal Realm, then it didn't belong to these realms.
