Chapter 2769: Annihilating a Clan

"You... you can't escape."

Ye Chen's voice roared like thunder, shaking the immortal dome until it collapsed. Dragging his blood-soaked sacred body, he battled his way out of the E Mo encirclement. His vital energy surged, and his killing intent was overwhelming.

"Stop him! Stop him for me!"

The Di Yi Sheng Ti fled, howling furiously. His former majesty was completely gone. The Huang Gu Sheng Ti was fiercely invincible, yet he displayed not a shred of saint body spirit.

Bang!

Ye Chen arrived and wasted no words, launching a punch immediately.

Puff!

Blood sprayed as the Di Yi Sheng Ti was wounded, staggering back a step.

That single step threw him off balance completely.

Ye Chen closed in, punch after punch, each one more dominant than the last, every strike drawing blood and sending the Di Yi Sheng Ti's sacred bones flying.

Ah!

The Di Yi Sheng Ti roared, his fury tearing at his guts.

But his roars were futile; he took every punch he deserved. Ye Chen hammered him from the eastern celestial dome all the way to the western void. The Di Yi Sheng Ti's sacred body reformed time and again, only to be shattered repeatedly. Whenever he tried to counterattack, he was forcefully beaten back. Ye Chen's speed was at its peak, his assaults unrelenting, leaving no chance for respite until complete destruction.

Roar! Roar!

Behind them, the E Mo swarmed in waves, hurling war spears and shooting divine beams.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

Ye Chen bled repeatedly but had no time to deal with them. His Huang Gu Sheng Ti was already battered, yet the Di Yi Sheng Ti fared worse, his bloodied sacred body reduced to fragments. Amid the E Mo's assault, Ye Chen pressed on to slay the Di Yi Sheng Ti, refusing to give him any opportunity to turn the tables.

The Di Yi Sheng Ti was terrified, truly beaten into fear. His eyes bulged, filled with dread. The lofty authority he once held, a matter of belief, was shattered punch by punch by Ye Chen.

"Destroy him! Destroy him for me!"

Ye Chen said nothing, but his soul roared. Every meridian and pore in his body absorbed the essence of the saint body, transforming it into divine power. He became a blazing golden flame.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The Di Yi Sheng Ti was defeated. He could still counterattack earlier, but now Ye Chen suppressed him completely. He had barely stood before, but now he was hammered down, falling from the heavens.

Bang!

Accompanied by a thunderous boom, his shattered sacred body crashed into the ground, forming a deep crater.

Ye Chen followed like a shadow, mounting him and grabbing his collar, pounding his head with fist after fist. Brain matter splattered, and bloodied bones flew.

Ah!

The Di Yi Sheng Ti's roars turned to wails.

The Di Yi Mai had always looked down on the second pulse as mere ants, yet now he was pinned beneath one. He struggled to rise but lacked the strength. All he saw were golden fists, their brilliant glow piercing his eyes and erasing his last trace of resolve. He was defeated, utterly and completely.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

The explosive sounds came rhythmically and swiftly.

Each of Ye Chen's punches cracked the crater further; each one made the universe rumble like a funeral bell from hell, tolling for the Di Yi Sheng Ti.

Ye Chen obliterated the Di Yi Mai's sacred body entirely, even reducing his primordial spirit to ashes.

The Di Yi Sheng Ti must have felt regret in his final moments, realizing too late the terror of the second pulse saint body.

Ye Chen staggered to his feet, vomiting fresh blood. Slaying the Di Yi Sheng Ti had come at a steep price—he had endured countless severe wounds from the E Mo, cast numerous forbidden arts, and suffered endless backlash.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

The E Mo closed in from all sides, a dark mass surrounding him, their massive eyes rolling with bloodshot veins, making them terrifyingly sinister.

"Scum."

Ye Chen sneered coldly and used Fei Lei Shen to escape that realm, heading straight for Ji Ningshuang.

"Damn, he actually slaughtered him?"

Tian Zun was stunned at the sight of Ye Chen's approach.

Even the Hun Dun Ti was shocked.

He knew the strength of the Di Yi Sheng Ti well. Without the blood succession limit, his combat power was still extremely formidable. Beating such an existence was one thing, but annihilating him was another—especially with countless E Mo attacking. Ye Chen had done it alone, a truly heaven-defying feat.

In this regard, he fell short of Ye Chen.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

The Zhu Xian Jian hummed, and a look of fear spread across Xue Yi Xian Zi's face. Neither Tian Zun nor the Hun Dun Ti believed it, and so did it. The Di Yi Sheng Ti's defeat by Ye Chen was expected, but defeat and slaughter were different concepts. Had he been wiped out so quickly?

Begone!

Ye Chen thundered like lightning, breaking through the E Mo's kill zone again. With one sword, he carved out an immortal river, sending Xue Yi Xian Zi tumbling through the air.

Buzz!

Ji Ningshuang arrived, summoning the Wuzi Tian Shu. As soon as Xue Yi Xian Zi rose, she was forced back unsteadily. No matter how the Zhu Xian Jian buzzed, it couldn't hold up, for it was merely an artifact, one that had fallen in rank and was in a weakened state, controlling another's body and unable to unleash its peak power.

"It's over."

Ye Chen struck again, obliterating Xue Yi Xian Zi's body, leaving only the Zhu Xian Jian to spin away.

Puff! Puff!

In that instant, he was pierced by war spears again.

Not far away, Ji Ningshuang was also struck by an E Mo sword, her blood raining down.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

The E Mo persisted, chanting demonic sounds that disrupted their minds, gathering into a vast ocean that trapped the two at its center. From above, they looked as insignificant as specks of sand amid the endless horde.

Ye Chen staggered, and Ji Ningshuang swayed, back to back, each gripping their dao swords, their faces pale. The battle had drained them immensely.

"This place will be your grave."

The Zhu Xian Jian spoke, then shattered the void and vanished in an instant, likely escaping this alien space. Fleeing was its specialty.

Ye Chen didn't pursue—it was impossible. He only scanned their surroundings.

With the Zhu Xian Jian gone, the monstrous army remained, filling the void on all sides in numbers beyond count. Those rolling eyes would sicken anyone with a fear of crowds, but being overwhelmed was the real nightmare. Trapped in this alien space, they would eventually be worn down to death. Even if the E Mo stood still for the killing, it would exhaust them completely.

Thus, finding the array's foundation was key, not fighting the E Mo. Destroying this alien space would allow them to summon the experts of the heavens and wipe them out entirely.

Tian Zun produced a bronze furnace, wielding a divine blade.

The Hun Dun Ti emerged as well.

The four stood back to back.

"If a heavenly tribulation hit now, it would be quite the spectacle," Tian Zun said meaningfully. Those unknown monsters could be fried alive.

The others didn't respond. What nonsense—if a tribulation were possible, they would have summoned it already.

"This is an alien space, so there must be an array foundation," Ye Chen said, still observing.

"There are array patterns beyond the emperor level."

The Hun Dun Ti remarked calmly, having activated his Hun Dun eyes. He knew this early on, but those faintly visible patterns were like illusions, immune to attacks.

Ye Chen and Ji Ningshuang could see it too. Blocking the heavenly dao was one thing, but blocking Meng Hui Qian Gu was truly frightening.

"This doesn't look good," Tian Zun suddenly said, his face darkening.

The others' expressions mirrored his. The dark mass of monsters was collapsing one after another, each disintegration releasing a black light that shot into the vast expanse and merged into the void.

Boom! Boom!

Withered lightning erupted, tearing through the heavens and earth.

The alien space trembled, mountains crumbled, and lava dried up. Streaks of annihilating lightning pierced between sky and ground, upending the universe, disrupting yin and yang. The monsters crumbled as the world collapsed, as if doomsday loomed and chaos was returning, with apocalyptic light shining forth.

"What audacity."

Ye Chen and the Hun Dun Ti spoke in unison, their eyes filled with cold light, as if they knew who was behind it. Besides the Zhu Xian Jian, who else?

It must be that damned sword, casting some forbidden art outside the alien space, sacrificing the monsters here to push the space toward destruction. They, trapped inside, would be buried with it.

The Zhu Xian Jian was truly ruthless, willing to sacrifice its own to eliminate them, trading endless monsters for their lives.

Its parting words hadn't been idle.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The E Mo turned to ash in waves, more black light soaring skyward. Each added beam accelerated the space's collapse, inch by inch exploding into nothingness.

Forces of destruction enveloped the entire world.

The alien space shook violently; even Ye Chen and the others couldn't stay steady. Their sacred bodies cracked under the strain, their bones crushed by unseen forces, on the verge of shattering.

Their primordial spirits twisted under the oppression, with destruction everywhere. In that moment, their bodies and true selves might turn to dust.

"This way of dying is too frustrating," Tian Zun cursed, his eyes bloodshot, gritting his teeth against the destructive force.

"When the monsters are gone, we'll turn to ash in an instant," the Hun Dun Ti said gravely.

Ji Ningshuang said nothing, instinctively reaching out to take Ye Chen's hand, afraid of losing her love on the road to the underworld or at the Nai He Bridge.

Ye Chen smiled sideways, his eyes turning into black holes, no pupils in sight, his long hair shifting to blood-red, dripping with blood that turned pitch-black.

"Blood succession limit?"

"As you said."

Ye Chen waved his hand, drawing the four into a great cauldron. In such a crisis, even immense power couldn't withstand destruction. Only by remaining indestructible could they seize that slim chance of survival.

Boom!

With a thunderous roar, the alien space shattered completely, reducing everything to ashes.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

In the Po Luo Yu, the Zhu Xian Jian trembled with excitement, on the verge of frenzy.

Sacrificing the E Mo for Ye Chen and the others' lives was worth it. Only it knew the potential they held; even sacrificing a Tian Mo Emperor would be a small price.

It had gone mad, its madness bordering on perversion.

Zing!

A sword cry rang out as a golden dao sword slashed from the void.

Still in its state of wild joy, the Zhu Xian Jian was struck down, its colorful blade gaining another notch.

The attacker was Ye Chen, his killing intent raging as he stood under the moon like a demon god. In the instant before the alien space's destruction, he had escaped, reduced to a mere thread of blood. Through his indestructible nature, he reformed his golden body and delivered this lethal strike.

His sword was indeed domineering; even the hardy Zhu Xian Jian nearly shattered.

"Blood succession limit."

The Zhu Xian Jian rang out, recognizing Ye Chen's state. Its earlier joy turned to fury. What tremendous cost, and still Ye Chen survived. It had calculated everything except the blood succession limit.

Zing!

It buzzed again, shattering the void and fleeing the Po Luo Yu. Already weakened from casting the forbidden art, it was no match for Ye Chen.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Ye Chen snorted coldly and moved to pursue.

But after one step, he halted abruptly, looking up at the vast sky.

Kill!

Fight!

In the distance, he seemed to hear battle cries and sense a deeply repulsive aura: Tian Mo.
