Chapter 1894

Amid the thunderous roars, Ye Chen darted through the mountains like a streak of light, hurrying to assist Xiao Chen in battle.

Xiao Chen could take on two opponents at once, and Ye Chen wasn't surprised at all. Having inherited the God of War's legacy, it was a heaven-defying fortune that would greatly boost his combat power. Even if Xiao Chen was outmatched against two Honghuang Dizi, he should still be able to escape unharmed.

"Fashen, to the northeast." After crossing a vast ocean, Ye Chen summoned his external Fashen.

His intention was clear: he, Xiao Chen, and the Fashen would surround and eliminate the Qiongqi Dizi and Tianxie Dizi, whether it was one-on-one or two-against-one. They would wipe them out first and ease the pressure on the Zhutian Dizi.

Elsewhere, the Fashen that had been searching for the Zhutian Dizi heard Ye Chen's call and made a sharp turn, heading straight northeast. Relying on the connection between the Fashen and the true self, it pinpointed the location with perfect accuracy.

However, when Ye Chen arrived, he couldn't help but pause in surprise.

There was indeed a fierce battle in the mountain range, and there were two Honghuang Dizi involved, but they weren't the Qiongqi Dizi and Tianxie Dizi—it was the Taowu Dizi and Guiji Dizi.

And the one fighting them wasn't Xiao Chen, but Mingjue.

"This kid showed up too." Ye Chen looked puzzled, genuinely astonished by the current Mingjue. His combat power was far stronger than before, with some mysterious force fused into his body, making it incredibly formidable.

"You bastards, have the guts to fight me one-on-one!"

While Ye Chen was stunned, Mingjue's furious shouts echoed through the heavens and earth. Though his power was immense, he struggled against the two Honghuang Dizi's assault and kept retreating, barely holding on. His dominant divine body was covered in bloody gashes, his entire form drenched in blood.

"We only care about the result, not the process."

The Taowu Dizi and Guiji Dizi sneered, each unleashing their visions and suspending secret treasures above their heads. Their emperor-level immortal arts poured out endlessly, relentlessly pressing Mingjue. If not for Mingjue's deep foundation and reserves, he would have been slain long ago.

"You're calling yourselves Dizi? Gangin' up two-on-one— you're just embarrassing your old man!"

Mingjue kept cursing as he fought and retreated, relying on his visions to protect him while using profound escape techniques, refusing to engage fully.

"Delaying will only bring trouble."

The two Dizi snorted coldly, their attacks growing even more ferocious, like immortal kings or war gods. Their life-taking techniques were terrifyingly powerful, and there were a few moments when they nearly finished Mingjue off.

The battlefield turned into a wasteland because of their three-way clash—dim and desolate, with mountains collapsing one after another and space itself fracturing inch by inch.

"Time to wrap this up."

Ye Chen charged in, his form elusive as he wielded a Dao sword, slashing out a river of immortals.

Caught off guard, perhaps not expecting reinforcements, the Guiji Dizi was hit head-on in that first exchange, stumbling back step by step and shattering the void with each retreat—his body was just too massive.

With Ye Chen's arrival, Mingjue, Guiji Dizi, and Taowu Dizi all halted their fight, turning their gazes toward him.

Mingjue, ever the sly one, recognized Ye Chen at a glance and immediately perked up. With Ye Chen's help, it would be one-on-one now. He was confident he could take down one Honghuang Dizi in a fair fight.

"I never thought the Holy Body Ye Chen would resort to ambushes."

The Guiji Dizi smirked sinisterly, baring his fearsome fangs. He recognized Ye Chen not by his face, but by his bloodline—beings at the Dizi level were better at sensing bloodlines than appearances, and it was spot-on every time.

"If you two can stoop to two-on-one, why can't I ambush?"

Ye Chen chuckled lightly.

"You've come at just the right time."

The Taowu Dizi grinned menacingly, his eyes burning with intense eagerness.

Or perhaps, he was excited.

He had long heard of the Holy Body's invincibility at the same level but never had the chance to test it. Now that they met, he was eager for a showdown to end Ye Chen's undefeated myth and use it as a stepping stone to reach greater heights.

"He's mine."

The Guiji Dizi laughed coldly and charged at Ye Chen, even more impatient than the Taowu Dizi, as if afraid the other would beat him to it.

"Don't try to scare me off."

Ye Chen muttered and didn't advance—instead, he turned and fled.

"Where do you think you're going?"

The Guiji Dizi pursued relentlessly, his aura overwhelming, instinctively assuming Ye Chen was afraid of him.

Seeing this, the Taowu Dizi didn't dare lag behind and also charged at Ye Chen. Such prime prey couldn't be left to the Guiji Dizi alone.

"Ignoring me like this makes me furious."

Mingjue cursed loudly, stepping forward to block the Taowu Dizi. A two-on-two setup, and they're both going after Ye Chen? What about me, the disciple of the Ming Emperor? This is awkward.

"Get lost!"

The Taowu Dizi roared in anger, striking with a palm.

"Even two-on-one couldn't kill me, and now it's just you acting all cocky?"

Mingjue exploded with power, his fist shattering the palm strike as he surged forward with torrents of killing intent. The pent-up frustration from being suppressed earlier erupted in an instant, unleashing his emperor-level immortal arts without restraint.

The Taowu Dizi was forced back, his expression twisted in ferocity. For now, he abandoned Ye Chen and focused on Mingjue, aiming to take him down first and then go for the Holy Body.

His little scheme was obvious.

But he had underestimated Mingjue. Facing him alone, the Taowu Dizi was actually struggling, retreating repeatedly.

"You can't even beat me, and you think you can take on the Holy Body? Where's your confidence coming from?"

Mingjue formed Dao laws in his palm, slamming down like a mountain, aiming straight for the Taowu Dizi from across the sky.

The Taowu Dizi wasn't one to back down, condensing thousands of Dao laws into a single finger that pierced through the palm strike.

"Keep going."

Mingjue grew fiercer with each exchange, lunging in close to clash physically.

The battle ignited, sending the two soaring into the void.

Soon, blood rained down like a storm—some from Mingjue, some from the Taowu Dizi. As the blood fell, it transformed into copies of their owners, continuing the relentless fight until one dropped.

Meanwhile, Ye Chen fled across the vast ocean.

"Where are you running?"

The Guiji Dizi followed, wasting no words as he thrust a finger forward.

Ye Chen sneered and dodged instantly, countering with a massive Palm Strike.

The Guiji Dizi didn't evade, clenching his fist and manifesting Dao laws in his palm, with ancient scripts etched between his fingers. His punch demolished everything, clashing head-on with Ye Chen.

Their fists and palms collided, jolting the Guiji Dizi with a muffled groan and sending Ye Chen staggering back. Ye Chen's golden palm had flesh flying off it. In terms of physical strength, the Guiji Dizi held no advantage—after all, a Honghuang Dizi's bloodline was extraordinarily terrifying.

It was true that a Dizi outranked a Taizi, and a Taizi outranked a Huangzi—one level was like night and day. The Guiji Dizi's power far surpassed that of Taizi or Huangzi. As the child of a Great Emperor, it was no simple matter.

Ye Chen pondered this internally. He could handle two at this level, but to wipe them out completely, he'd have to fight to near death. If it were three-on-one, he'd be the one getting beaten to tears—these Dizi were just too dominant.

"The Ancient Holy Body? What a joke."

The Guiji Dizi scoffed, advancing slowly with utter contempt. Centered on him, a vast Honghuang Demonic Land expanded endlessly—it was his Dao outer manifestation, filled with real mountains, rivers, wild forests, and grasslands, all imprinted with supreme Dao essence.

"You're not even worth my time."

Ye Chen didn't back down, expanding his Chaos Great Realm, which was even larger than the Honghuang Demonic Land. Within it, visions of chaos at the dawn of creation unfolded, giving birth to all things.

"Refining you into a puppet would be quite the prize."

The Guiji Dizi laughed as he attacked, one hand forming a fist that grasped the universe, the other a palm that embodied yin and yang. His strikes came one after the other, aimed at Ye Chen.

"I'll stew you in a pot and have meals for days."

Ye Chen joked back, his hands never idle. He used no fancy secret arts—just a pair of golden fists, seemingly ordinary but infused with profound Dao laws, returning to the essence of pure combat.

Thud! Thud!

Blood sprayed as the Guiji Dizi's fist and palm exploded on impact, forcing him to retreat.

These two punches left the Guiji Dizi dazed.

"Warm-up's over."

Ye Chen stepped onto the immortal river, instantly closing in and throwing a punch.

"You deserve to die."

The Guiji Dizi bellowed, refusing to believe it, and his hand regenerated in an instant to clash with Ye Chen again.

In the next moment, the Guiji Dizi was sent flying, his divine body nearly shattered by Ye Chen's punch.

The facts proved that not believing it didn't help.

The Guiji Dizi was enraged, thundering with fury as he formed seals with one hand, summoning a towering demonic statue.

The statue was eerie, pitch-black and grotesquely shaped, with a ferocious appearance. Its massive eyes were just swirling flames, and lightning crackled across its body.

This was the Guiji clan's outer manifestation, a innate divine ability only Dizi-level members could activate. It was larger than a typical outer manifestation, and a single swipe of its hand could topple mountains and seas, collapse the heavens, or make a Great Saint weep.

"Die!"

The Guiji Dizi roared, controlling the demonic statue to slam a palm down on Ye Chen. The palm was enormous, like a dark curtain blotting out the sky, heavy as an eight-thousand-zhang mountain.

Ye Chen collided with it directly and was sent tumbling, churning the ocean into massive waves.

Amid the roaring waves, he steadied himself, cracking his neck fiercely as his Dao sword materialized in his hand. Strands of Dao principles wove together, forming a hundred-zhang-long sword that hummed sharply.

From within the demonic statue, the Guiji Dizi lunged again, swinging another palm.

"So what if you're tall?"

Ye Chen cursed, swinging his hundred-zhang Dao sword to split the heavens and sever the demonic statue's arm.

"So what if you're big?"

He cursed again, swinging a second time and lopping off the other arm.

"The Guiji clan is all overdue for a beating."

On the third swing, he cursed once more, decapitating the demonic statue.

With a boom, the statue collapsed into nothingness, and the Guiji Dizi was blasted away. Before he could stop, Ye Chen's fourth sword struck, devastating everything in its path.

The Guiji Dizi stabilized and summoned a shield, raising it to block.

A clang rang out as Ye Chen's sword failed to shatter the shield, only sparking fiercely.

Even so, the Guiji Dizi was in bad shape—his arm exploded into blood mist, and blood gushed from him. Though he blocked the strike, it forced him to his knees; Ye Chen's Dao sword was too ferocious.

" Rise!"

The Guiji Dizi howled, surging with his origin power and bloodline force to enhance his strength, forcibly lifting the sword.

"As if I'd let you."

Ye Chen snorted, adding his own Dao principles. The Guiji Dizi, who had just risen, was forced back down to his knees.

In that instant, the two were locked in a standoff—the kneeling Guiji Dizi gripped his shield, struggling to stand, while Ye Chen held the hundred-zhang Dao sword pressed against it, refusing to let him up.

"Better late than never."

As they stalemated, a leisurely laugh echoed, and a figure appeared—it was Ye Chen's Holy War Fashen, holding a crimson killing sword in hand.
