Chapter 1767: Keep Pranking

The Xuan Huang Star Sea was in chaos, with thunderous booms echoing endlessly, shaking the heavens and earth.

In the west, Tian Shuo was extremely ferocious, having already slain the Teng She Zhun Di, and now darting around to bombard the Hong Huang clan warships.

In the east, no warships were seen shattering or sinking, but massive waves surged like roaring tides, their brilliant waves swallowing the sky and devouring the earth.

Ye Chen refrained from attacking the warships because he was engaged in battle with two Qiong Qi Zhun Di. These two were the real living treasures.

The scene was incredibly bloody. Even with the two Zhun Di joining forces, they were no match for Ye Chen. Their massive bodies were torn to pieces. On the outside, they were Zhun Di, but in the depths of the sea, even Zhun Di had to bow down.

What made it awkward was that they had no chance to escape; their speed was also restrained. Ye Chen's speed absolutely suppressed them.

Following a miserable scream, one of the Zhun Di was blasted apart, and even his illusory yuan shen couldn't escape suppression, ending up in the copper furnace.

"Come, you three can make a table now."

Kui Niu was quite considerate, bundling together the yuan shen of the two Qiong Qi Zhun Di and one imperial prince. The three of them probably had a lot to say.

"Add one more, and we can make another table."

Li Changsheng tilted his head back, glancing over as he passed by, watching Ye Chen unleash his divine might.

The third Qiong Qi Zhun Di was quite resilient, desperately trying to flee toward the outer edges of the star sea. He thought he could still salvage this.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Ye Chen caught up, using Yi Tian Huan Di to swap their positions again. He then struck from the heavens with a massive palm print, crushing the Zhun Di's body and making fresh blood spray out like gushing springs.

"Kill!"

The Qiong Qi Zhun Di roared, reforming his body and charging forward.

"Kill your sister!"

Ye Chen cursed loudly and, without hesitation, swung another massive slap from the heavens, utterly dominant.

This time, the Qiong Qi Zhun Di quieted down completely, reduced to a lump of flesh and blood. Ye Chen sealed it and tossed it into the copper furnace.

"Come on, come on, don't be shy."

Kui Niu hauled him over, so now there were three Qiong Qi Zhun Di and one Qiong Qi imperial prince—four in total, truly making a full table. It was a sight that brought a sense of satisfaction.

"I need to take a break."

Ye Chen pulled out his wine flask and gulped it down. Even the sacred body couldn't withstand such depletion.

During this time, he glanced toward Tian Shuo's direction. No wonder it was an emperor's dao inheritance—that guy was bursting with vitality, full of energy, tireless, diligently chasing and fighting all the way, ferociously terrifying and jaw-dropping.

"What's there to look at? Keep going!"

Tian Shuo shouted in anger.

"Got it."

Ye Chen shook his head and went after the Qiong Qi clan warships. He punched one slow-moving vessel, causing it to explode.

"Another ship has sunk on Chen Ye's side."

A human cultivator exclaimed in shock.

"Does that mean the three Qiong Qi clan Zhun Di have all been suppressed?"

A young cultivator rubbed his hands, his eyes shining brightly.

"Fight on! Keep fighting, wipe them all out!"

An elder cultivator was excited, his blood boiling as he couldn't help but shout.

"Retreat! Retreat quickly, sail out of the star sea!"

The other clans' Zhun Di roared continuously, their voices echoing throughout the star sea.

Given the miserable state of the Qiong Qi Zhun Di, the five clans' Zhun Di were much smarter. They flew as high as they could, darting chaotically through the sky, trying to stay far from the sea surface to avoid Ye Chen suddenly emerging and dragging them into the Xuan Huang Star Sea. Otherwise, they would be in deep trouble.

Ye Chen was getting frustrated. They were flying way too high, far beyond the range of his Suo Di Cheng Cun. He couldn't reach them, and even if he could, he couldn't lock onto them—they were escaping too fast.

"Old Seven, what about Shang Shan over there?"

Kui Niu called out loudly.

"Drag him down and beat him to death."

Li Changsheng cursed.

"He won't get away."

Ye Chen snorted coldly and swam underwater, approaching Shang Shan. That guy was calm and composed, confident in his strength, just standing in the void sky, scanning the star sea.

Ye Chen's anger toward him surpassed even that for the Hong Huang clan. As a Zhun Di of the myriad heavens, he didn't protect the common people and instead aided the evildoers. Such a hypocritical person deserved to be flayed alive.

It wasn't long before Ye Chen arrived directly below Shang Shan in the star sea.

This area of the sea had no warships; it was just him standing in the void sky, surveying the star sea and all directions, as if searching for something.

Ye Chen swallowed a handful of dan yao, roughly calculated the distance—within the range of Suo Di Cheng Cun—and decided to make his move.

As a massive wave surged, he suddenly activated Yi Tian Huan Di, locking onto Shang Shan and swapping their positions.

Shang Shan was caught off guard and plunged into the star sea, while Ye Chen appeared in the void sky, his eyes flashing with cold light, his killing intent uncontrollable.

However, just as he was about to dive into the star sea to slay the old dog Shang Shan, the surrounding void sky began to rumble and tremble. A massive cage suddenly materialized, trapping him inside.

Seeing this, Kui Niu and Li Changsheng's expressions changed, and the human cultivators around them turned pale. Clearly, it was a trap.

Ye Chen's face was ice-cold. He had underestimated Shang Shan. No wonder the guy had been standing motionless in the void sky—this was to lure him out!

Unfortunately, in his eagerness to kill Shang Shan, he had overlooked this, falling into the trap set by that old schemer.

"Why aren't you running anymore?"

Shang Shan chuckled sinisterly as he emerged from the star sea, soaring up to the void sky and smirking at Ye Chen, his ugly face fully revealed, his laughter eerie and sinister.

"Tired, taking a break."

Ye Chen casually stretched his neck, but his divine sense was probing the cage trapping him. It was indeed extraordinary, incredibly domineering, fused with sealing and slaughtering arrays. Yet, he felt no fear. Though trapped, it wasn't a dead end. If they pushed him too far, he wouldn't mind summoning a world-shaking heavenly tribulation.

"Not bound by the Xuan Huang Star Sea, I'm quite curious about your identity."

Shang Shan approached slowly, his old eyes fixed on Ye Chen, but he still couldn't see through his true appearance.

"I'm also very curious about what could make a Zhun Di at the peak become a dog for the Hong Huang great clan."

Ye Chen looked at Shang Shan with a smile, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

This remark instantly made Shang Shan's face turn as cold as frost. As a Zhun Di, when had he ever been insulted like this? He immediately extended his palm, reaching for the Gui Ming mask on Ye Chen's face.

"You'll pay a heavy price for your words."

"Getting angry out of embarrassment?"

Ye Chen wouldn't just stand there and let himself be caught. He evaded in the cage, dodging Shang Shan's hand.

"Seal him for me."

Shang Shan snorted coldly and activated the cage's restrictions.

The cage trembled violently as a powerful sealing force manifested, infused with the might of a Zhun Di, as heavy as mountains. Ye Chen, who was still trying to escape, felt as if he had stepped into a quagmire, his movements labored. He was crushed until he spat blood, his sacred body cracking with fresh blood spraying out.

That wasn't the end. Chains of fu wen appeared one after another, intertwining and colliding with a clang, entwined with thunder.

Ye Chen was sealed on the spot, his hands and feet all locked.

The fu wen chains were strange, devouring his jing yuan and fa li, with a mysterious force also sealing his dan hai.

"I'll refine you into a puppet, to be under my control for eternity."

Shang Shan grinned wickedly and extended his palm again.

"Force me to go all out, huh!"

Ye Chen shouted coldly, about to unseal his suppressed cultivation and summon the vast heavenly tribulation.

But before he could, a thick pillar of light descended from the sky, carrying devastating divine might that obliterated everything in its path. It struck the massive cage dead-on, instantly destroying its seals.

"I knew it! The son of the emperor won't just stand by."

Ye Chen grinned and, with the seal broken, regained his mobility. He took a step with Suo Di Cheng Cun and fled from that section of the void sky.

"You bastard!"

Shang Shan roared in fury, unleashing a palm that covered the sky toward Ye Chen. He had finally lured him out and couldn't let him escape.

"Think you can catch me? Dream on!"

Ye Chen sneered coldly and darted into the star sea like smoke, splashing waves in his wake. From behind, a taunt echoed:

"Come down if you've got the guts."

"Damn it!"

Though furious, Shang Shan wasn't fooled by the provocation. Instead of going down, he ascended higher, trying to stay as far from the sea surface as possible, afraid Ye Chen would swap positions and drag him into the Xuan Huang Star Sea.
