Chapter 1338

The two walked along like old friends, descending the stairs and entering this bizarre, foul-smelling world of flesh and blood.

The giant flesh clock and display screen downstairs had already disappeared, and neither of them paid it any attention, simply walking straight ahead.

This strange dream world was filled with faceless people everywhere, going about their business on the streets as if living normal lives.

This time was different from before—no one noticed their movements anymore. The faceless figures weren't frozen in place; they were just like ordinary people, busy with their own existences.

Without faces, they were like the masses—unable to see the path ahead or vocalize their suffering.

Gazing at the bustling street scene, Tianlong felt that this dream world seemed subtly different from the last time he was here.

It appeared... to have stabilized?

Though using the word "stable" in this eerie world felt strange, it wasn't as chaotic as before.

The only impression Bai Yang had from their previous entry was "madness."

But now?

Everyone here seemed to have found their own lives. If you looked closely, you could even spot faceless delivery workers or street vendors chatting and joking.

Yet they were all completely silent, not a single sound was heard.

"Tianlong, do you want to hear a story?"

"A story?"

"That's right." Qi Xia nodded. "A story about *yong heng*."

The two walked along the road paved with flesh and blood, chatting like ordinary passersby.

"Forget it." Tianlong sighed softly. "Your manipulative tricks don't work on me anymore. You'd better think about how you're going to survive under my watch."

"What a shame." Qi Xia smiled as well. "Perhaps when I ask you again in a moment, your answer will be different."

They fell silent and continued walking for a few more minutes.

"Bai Yang... you're quite the principled one." Tianlong murmured. "Walking this far—is this about picking a prime spot for yourself?"

"I'm just worried about damaging my own furniture." Qi Xia replied. "What about you? Any preferences for your gravesite?"

"No particular requirements." Tianlong shook his head. "My only hope is that it contains only your body."

"Fair enough. I hope it contains only yours too."

Tianlong slightly clenched his fist behind Qi Xia, feeling his condition was still off. Today, he seemed to have unleashed the most powerful *ru meng* in history, and his hand was still trembling.

"Tianlong, you're quite principled yourself." Qi Xia said. "Not planning to *li xi* me right now?"

"You said you'd grant me a defeat." Tianlong laughed from behind Qi Xia. "If I ambushed you, how could you accept it?"

"How about we put it another way." Qi Xia said. "You're not even sure if you can *li xi* me now, are you?"

Tianlong fell silent after hearing that.

"The reason you can *li xi* the 'participants' is that you've always seen yourself as a 'god,' treating them like ants you can crush at will." Qi Xia shook his head. "But in this space, you see us as equals, which means your 'belief' can't support you in *li xi*ing the master of this space."

"Isn't that exactly what you wanted?" Tianlong countered. "A relatively fair duel."

"Hopefully it is fair."

Before long, Qi Xia stopped at the entrance of a flesh amusement park.

Tianlong stopped as well, realizing the "gravesite" had been chosen.

"What do you think of this place?" Qi Xia asked.

Tianlong scanned the scene before him and noticed there were quite a few "green plants" in the amusement park.

But the leaves of those plants were all fingers or hair, swaying on trunks made of bones—as if alive, yet on the verge of death.

In the distance stood a Ferris wheel made from massive eyeballs, a roller coaster from elongated spines, and even a drop tower from two enormous leg bones.

It was called an amusement park, but no matter how you looked at it, it was a scene from hell.

"What a terrifying sight, Bai Yang." Tianlong laughed. "This is a dream only a monster could imagine."

"Do you know why I chose this place?" Qi Xia asked.

"Why?"

"This amusement park is no longer of any use. We'll tear it down, and I'll build a new one when I have time."

"You'd better not be joking with me."

The two entered the amusement park one after the other. Qi Xia walked ahead without looking back, heading deeper, while Tianlong started loosening up his muscles.

Though Qi Xia looked pretty beaten up, Tianlong knew his own state wasn't much better.

He was preparing to pour his last bit of "belief" into this, fighting Qi Xia to the death.

Just then, a person dressed as a clown ran over, carrying a bunch of things that looked like long balloons, and silently gestured in front of Tianlong.

But without a mouth, the clown never made a sound.

This was the first person here who had noticed Tianlong since his last *ru meng*.

"What's he saying?" Tianlong asked.

"He's asking if you want him to make you a little dog out of the long balloons." Qi Xia answered from ahead, without turning around.

Tianlong looked down and saw that what the person held wasn't long balloons at all, but segments of intestines.

"Troublesome." Tianlong said with a smile to the clown. "Use those intestines to make a grave for the person in front."

The clown paused for a moment, then quickly turned and ran off.

"What an interesting place, Bai Yang..." Tianlong watched the clown's retreating figure. "He runs over with intestines and ends up scared away... Ha..."

"A clown comes over with long balloons to find you, and you call them intestines." Qi Xia said. "From their perspective... aren't we the crazy ones?"

"So what are you getting at?" Tianlong asked. "Is this a normal world, and only you and I see everything as flesh and blood?"

"Who knows?" Qi Xia replied.

"You're truly mad." Tianlong said. "Every punch we throw here will damage your mind, making you even crazier. Are you ready for that?"

"Is that so?" Qi Xia stretched his muscles. "I told you, this isn't a dream... so it doesn't matter."

The two slowly came to a stop in a small plaza in front of a carousel.

That carousel was made of shattered flesh and blood impaled on bones, like a herd of moving meat horses.

"Tianlong, I'll ask you one last time." Qi Xia said expressionlessly. "Do you want to know what *yong heng* is?"

"I don't."

"Alright." Qi Xia nodded. "Then please lie down soon. I still need to go home and eat."

Tianlong's face grew darker upon hearing that. "In that case... die in the dream."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Tianlong lunged forward.

Qi Xia didn't even turn around and kept walking. A massive wall of flesh and blood instantly rose up in front of Tianlong, blocking his attack.

In that moment, all the rides in the flesh amusement park seemed to receive some kind of summons, springing to life as if electrified.
