In the moment the wall of flesh and blood blocked Tian Long, several enormous bone spikes erupted from the ground, stabbing toward his body.
Qi Xia kept walking forward without once looking back.
Tian Long clenched his fists tightly, and countless stone spikes materialized out of thin air, shattering all the bone spikes.
He then stamped his feet on the ground and activated "Zhikong," leaping into the air in an instant and escaping the range of the flesh and blood attacks. Like a hawk diving from the sky, he plunged straight toward Qi Xia.
Just as they were about to collide, Qi Xia closed his eyes, and the flesh-covered ground beneath his feet split open like a mouth, swallowing him whole before the gap vanished without a trace.
Tian Long's attack missed as expected.
After landing, he scanned his surroundings cautiously, but Qi Xia was nowhere to be seen. Only a few scattered pedestrians lingered nearby.
Those pedestrians seemed to sense that a fight was breaking out and began watching from a safe distance, peering carefully.
As Tian Long hesitated, the nearby carousel suddenly spun wildly.
The "flesh horses" on it struggled free from their skeletal restraints and charged madly at Tian Long.
Tian Long stared intently and couldn't help but look puzzled. All the "flesh horses" were crudely assembled from human corpses shaped like horses, yet their features remained distinctly human.
As the horde of flesh horses closed in, Tian Long swung his hand forcefully, reducing most of them to powder. However, a few escaped "Lixie" and barreled through the blood mist toward him.
He clenched his fist, and more massive stone spikes rose from the ground, impaling all the flesh horses.
These monsters, pieced together from corpses, were skewered like kebabs, writhing and clawing in the air while letting out hideous roars.
Before Tian Long could catch his breath, the flesh beneath his feet began to churn, and the surrounding ground formed a massive hand, as if intent on crushing him alive.
In the nick of time, he activated "Zhikong" again, soaring high above the enormous flesh hand and standing suspended in the air.
He steadied his breathing, but out of the corner of his eye, he spotted an abnormally large object hurtling toward him.
Turning his head, he saw a runaway flesh pendulum swinging in a bizarre arc, rising from the ground and flying straight at Tian Long in the sky.
Tian Long quickly swung his arm with all his might, gradually disintegrating the massive flesh pendulum into meaty fragments. But in that moment, he felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.
To his despair, the pendulum reformed from the fragments in mere seconds, with fresh flesh regrowing to restore its entire structure.
Tian Long channeled all his "Xin Nian" into "Lixie," finally pulverizing the giant pendulum as it swung toward the sky.
He knew this couldn't go on. Relying solely on "Lixie" for battle, how long could he last?
Worse still, the things here were endless; "Lixie" couldn't destroy them all. They all stemmed from "Sheng Sheng Bu Xi," and the entire amusement park seemed to be Bai Yang's weapon.
Yet Bai Yang hadn't shown himself, and the situation was eerily strange...
Bai Yang had clearly overexerted his "Xin Nian" as well, but the "Xianfa" he was unleashing now was more ferocious than ever. Earlier, he had strolled along as if it were nothing, not like he was using "Xianfa" at all—more like...
Casually swatting away insects.
"Bai Yang!!"
Tian Long shouted from the sky, "Aren't you here to settle things with me?! What's the point of hiding?"
Many people in the amusement park started looking up at Tian Long, but he still couldn't spot Qi Xia.
"Bai Yang!!" Tian Long yelled again, "Come out!"
He raised his hand, and a massive stone appeared in the sky. With a thought, it plummeted downward.
Smack!
The huge stone crashed into the flesh-covered ground with a strange sound, as if cracking something open.
Many customers enjoying the amusement park seemed to realize something was wrong and began fleeing toward the exits.
"Bai Yang!!"
Tian Long roared, summoning more enormous stones to hover in the air before sending them raining down like meteors.
A bizarre, thunderous downpour echoed through the amusement park.
No matter how hard he searched, Tian Long couldn't find Qi Xia, and his frustration grew.
In the next second, an even larger shape loomed in his peripheral vision, roaring and whimpering like a massive pale beast.
Shocked by its size, Tian Long quickly retreated, flying back several dozen meters before realizing it was a pirate ship made of enormous ribs and flesh.
The ship leaped into the air as if it had wings, howling as it charged straight at him.
With no way to dodge, Tian Long crossed his arms in front of his chest and activated "Lixie" once more.
Qi Xia stood nearby, watching the scene unfold, and shook his head helplessly.
People around were fleeing rapidly, and he wondered if this world could withstand Tian Long's rampage.
This seemed to be the commercial street of the amusement park, with blood-flesh buildings resembling stores and visitors dressed in all sorts of bizarre outfits.
Qi Xia glanced down at the spots where the huge stones had fallen, thinking... this might be the first time stones had ever appeared in this world.
Some stones had cracked the ground, revealing a black void beneath.
Qi Xia leaped onto a stone and waved his hand lightly, causing flesh to gradually cover the cracks.
A few seconds later, he heard a strange noise behind him.
Turning around, he saw that in the black cracks between the buildings, a hand was reaching in from the void—as if from another space.
It was a living person's hand.
Qi Xia was slightly stunned, his mind in disarray.
Someone... wandering outside of space...?
The hand, whether intentionally or not, gripped the edge of the crack and tore off a fragment, making the gap even larger.
Fortunately, everyone nearby was too busy fleeing to notice the crack's abnormality.
Qi Xia frowned, pondering the situation—
A person wandering beyond space... From which space, which time?
If you said he was lucky, he had actually found a door to enter in the void.
If you said he was unlucky, the door led straight to the battlefield between him and Tian Long.
At that very moment in the sky, the massive rib pirate ship began disintegrating into powder before it could touch Tian Long's body. But its speed was faster than his "Lixie," and by the time he'd destroyed two-thirds of it, the rest slammed into him like a train.
The ship's howling and the deafening crash exploded in the sky.
Overwhelmed by the successive events, Tian Long plummeted from the air, landing not far from the crack.
Qi Xia paid no attention to Tian Long's direction; instead, he focused on the hand emerging from the crack. He knew some kind of "anomaly" had occurred.
But everything that needed to be done was finished, so whatever anomaly arose wouldn't make a difference.
Still, it was absurd for someone to struggle to enter here from the void.
As the saying goes, if there's a path to heaven, you don't take it; you barge into hell uninvited.
Qi Xia approached the crack from the side and muttered, "Absurd," before waving his hand.
A vast expanse of flesh began to grow wildly over the crack, sealing it along with whoever was inside.
"Wait... wait a minute..."
A woman's voice came from the crack.
She seemed unwilling to be trapped outside, desperately clawing at the spreading flesh. "Hey, who are you?!"
Qi Xia shook his head and let the flesh cover the crack completely, regardless of who was wandering out there. This wasn't her place.
Once the flesh had sealed everything, Qi Xia sighed and said,
"I'm sorry, I can't save you. Just keep doing what you're supposed to."
