Chapter 1342: Collision

Attack!

As Ye Chen led the charge, the elders of the Bai Yue Shen Jiao on the opposing warships all drew their swords, pointing them menacingly in his direction.

Attack!

The Bai Yue Sheng Zhu, leading the pursuit from behind, also swung his sword, commanding hundreds of warships to race after them.

In an instant, the array formations and cannons on over six hundred Bai Yue Shen Jiao warships locked onto Ye Chen and his companions, firing beams of overwhelming divine light. Each beam carried devastating power capable of shattering everything in its path.

Although their quasi-saint soldier level warships had limited range, the bombardment stirred up massive waves in the Xuan Huang Xing Hai, turning the sea into a chaotic storm.

Ye Chen ignored it all, steering his ship through layer after layer of towering waves, heading straight southeast. That direction had fewer enemy warships, giving him a chance to break through and escape the encirclement.

Xiao Ling Wa coordinated perfectly with him without any need for words, instantly understanding Ye Chen's intent. Their warship's cannons focused fire in that area, already sinking two enemy vessels.

The distance between the sides closed to about twenty thousand zhang.

Now within range, the Bai Yue Shen Jiao members went berserk, activating their cannons relentlessly, burning through source stones as if they were worthless. After holding back for so long, they finally unleashed their fury.

Boom! Bang!

The thunderous explosions shook the heavens. Even with Ye Chen's masterful ship-handling skills, their warship sustained heavy damage, rocking violently from side to side. The powerful protective barrier grew fragile under such intense assault, and the artifacts reinforcing it shattered one after another.

This time, it was Ye Chen who spat blood. Since he had infused his bloodline power into the warship, every hit caused cracks to form on his saintly body, with golden saint blood spraying out.

Xiao Ling Wa fared no better, as he was on the warship too. With the barrier damaged, he suffered injuries as well.

"Hold on tight." Ye Chen roared, his vital energy surging and his face wild with determination. He burned nearly a million source stones to maximize the warship's speed, propelling it forward and parting the ten-thousand-zhang waves like divine light, ramming straight toward the southeast to force an opening.

"Ram right through? Has he gone mad?" The onlookers among the cultivators felt their hearts pounding in shock.

"What else can he do? The longer they drag this out, the worse it is for them. This approach is crazy, but it's straightforward. A saint soldier level warship is far tougher than a quasi-saint soldier level one. If they can smash through a gap, they might just escape alive."

"Looks like those two aren't just clowns—they're fiercely brutal in battle!"

"He's lost it, he's completely lost it." Amid the discussions, cries of alarm came from the Bai Yue Shen Jiao forces in the southeast. They watched helplessly as Ye Chen barreled toward them, with many backing away in panic and some even leaping into the Xing Hai.

"Stop them!" From another side, the Bai Yue Sheng Zhu bellowed in rage.

"Stop them?" Ye Chen sneered, only growing more frenzied as his speed increased, charging straight ahead.

Under everyone's gaze, a Bai Yue Shen Jiao warship in the southeast was smashed to pieces on the spot. Its crew turned to ash in droves or plummeted into the Xing Hai.

But that wasn't the end—Ye Chen continued ramming forward. His saint soldier level warship was incredibly sturdy, and although the Bai Yue Shen Jiao had many vessels, they couldn't withstand it, scattering in disarray.

"Stop them!"

Shouts of anger echoed from all directions as more warships sped in, their array cannons firing nonstop.

Ye Chen paid them no mind. You fire at us, and we'll keep ramming. Let's see if you sink us first or if we flip you all over. Since you're not leaving us a way out, we'll fight!

Thanks to his ferocity, the saint soldier level warship cut through like a blade, sinking one enemy vessel after another and forcibly breaking out of the encirclement. The surrounding cultivators stared in stunned disbelief—they'd seen sea battles before, but never one like this.

However, the Thunder Warship paid a heavy price, struck repeatedly with its protective barrier left in tatters. If not for Ye Chen and Xiao Ling Wa's robust physiques, they would have perished.

"The sea is vast—let's go!" Once they broke free, Ye Chen steered the ship, darting hundreds of zhang in an instant.

"Damn it!" The Bai Yue Sheng Zhu roared, taking the helm himself and leading hundreds of warships in pursuit.

"Come on, keep it coming." On their warship, Xiao Ling Wa howled, piling up several million source stones and firing the array cannons without pause.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

The Xuan Huang Xing Hai erupted into chaos again, with massive waves crashing one after another, drawing waves of curses from the onlookers.

It was a grand spectacle: one warship fleeing ahead, over six hundred in hot pursuit, exchanging fire all the way and turning the Xing Hai into utter turmoil.

The saint soldier level warship's speed far outpaced the quasi-saint soldier level ones, quickly widening the gap.

Thus, the battle returned to its initial state—Ye Chen's side could still hit them, but the Bai Yue Shen Jiao's cannons, despite firing furiously, couldn't reach their targets.

"Keep pushing!" Xiao Ling Wa shouted excitedly, manning the array cannons and picking off enemies one by one.

"Push what? Get over here and fix the warship!" Ye Chen snapped, steering at full speed. After all the hits and ramming, their vessel was on the brink of collapse—they couldn't afford more risks, or they'd end up buried in the Xuan Huang Xing Hai.

"Slow down! I was just getting into it." Seeing the warship accelerate beyond cannon range, Xiao Ling Wa grumbled, clearly disappointed and ready to fight for ages.

"You, get down here and repair the warship."

"Boring." Xiao Ling Wa muttered under his breath, fired one last shot, and jumped down from the platform.

"Keep whining, and I'll kick you overboard." Ye Chen turned away, waving a hand to reclaim the source stones from the cannons, using them to fuel the warship's flight and maintain its protective barrier.

Because he refused to engage further, the warship shot forward like lightning, widening the distance once more.

The Bai Yue Sheng Zhu was coughing up blood, his eyes bloodshot and his insides churning with rage—he didn't know if it was from wounds or fury.

What a humiliation, an utter disgrace! Their home base raided, treasures looted clean, ancestors blasted away, and now, with over six hundred warships surrounding the enemy, they still let them slip away. The Bai Yue Shen Jiao had never suffered such a loss since its founding.

Pursue them! Chase them down!

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. The Bai Yue Sheng Zhu stood at the bow, roaring like a mad dog.

Ye Chen acted as if he hadn't heard, continuing to speed away and leaving the Bai Yue Shen Jiao warships far behind.

Yet, they underestimated the Bai Yue Shen Jiao's persistence. Even though their speed couldn't match the saint soldier level warship, they chased desperately, vowing not to stop until those two were destroyed.

Impressive!

Watching Ye Chen and his companion vanish into the distance, the onlookers clicked their tongues in awe. Today's spectacle was truly entertaining—they'd learned what it meant to be outrageously bold.

As they watched, many started to sail away, no longer bothering to follow. If even the Bai Yue Shen Jiao couldn't catch those two fiends, their own small ships stood no chance.

The crowd dispersed, but the curses lingered, coming from the Bai Yue Shen Jiao warships. The once serene Xuan Huang Xing Hai was now stained red with blood, its surface a mess of wreckage.

Though the spectators had left, the drama wasn't over—the Bai Yue Shen Jiao pursued relentlessly.

Since Ye Chen and Xiao Ling Wa were headed for the Xuan Huang Continent, they would chase them there. Once they arrived, at least the Tai Qing Gong could help hunt them down. Only by eliminating those two scum could they quench their hatred.
