Chapter 1334: Dream's Peak

The two of them appeared to pay no mind to what Tianma had called his "precious grandson." Tianlong simply asked lightly,

"How is the Mian Shi Fang Jian?"

"Oh... the Mian Shi Fang Jian... everything is back..." Tianma replied. "I led people to check each room individually. Every room has started to restore to its original state, just like before. The Can Yu Zhe have returned. Since we're selecting interviewees, the Mian Shi Sheng Xiao have come back as well."

"Good." Tianlong nodded. "Wait on the side."

Tianma acknowledged and slowly walked over to stand behind Qinglong, positioning himself carefully.

After hearing this, Qinglong furrowed his brow. "You're going to Ru Meng here?"

"Yes." Tianlong nodded. "I'm feeling quite fatigued this time, with a tightness in my chest that won't go away. I'll enter the Meng Jing early, and leave the rest to you all. Remember, don't make any noise."

Tianma paused slightly upon hearing Tianlong's words. "What... do you mean? We?"

"Tianlong is tired," Qinglong explained, turning to Tianma. "After the Ru Meng ends, you and I will help him to the Wang Zuo together."

Tianma stared straight at Tianlong as if he hadn't heard a word Qinglong said.

Tianlong took a deep breath and slowly closed his eyes. All the Can Yu Zhe on the "train" entered his view like lights in the starry sky.

He steadied his mind, and with a slight stir of his Xin Nian, a massive Ru Meng burst forth.

In this vast, empty space, he was like a true deity, looking down from on high at the memories of the multitude.

"Everyone, Xian Shi is approaching..."

Tianlong began constructing a massive Meng Jing for everyone in the space. This time, he felt unusually fatigued; in just an instant, a large portion of his Xin Nian was drained.

Sweat started to bead on his face, but his Xin Nian seemed entangled by something, unable to break free. He could only grimly continue replicating all the Meng Jing.

After an unknown amount of time, Tianlong's consciousness began to blur, and then he heard a strange voice ring in his ear:

"He's almost unable to breathe."

The voice abruptly interrupted his entangled Xin Nian, and Tianlong instantly flared with anger. He abruptly opened his eyes and looked toward the source of the sound.

It was Tiangou, the plump and timid figure standing behind Qinglong, who had spoken.

"Tian... Gou...?" Tianlong stared at him intensely, silent for a few seconds before saying, "Tiangou... you... didn't I just tell you not to speak?"

"Yes... I'm sorry... I..." Tiangou whispered from behind Qinglong.

Qinglong's face showed a hint of anger. "How dare you! Don't you know the rules of Tianlong's Ru Meng?"

Tiangou trembled all over like a sieve. "Tian... Tianlong... Please don't be angry... This is my first time seeing you initiate Ru Meng in this room, so..."

"Then haven't you heard about it before?" Qinglong interjected. "Is your Ling Wen just for show?"

"I'm truly sorry... But I still haven't found my grandson..." Fear flashed across Tiangou's plump face, leaving Tianlong puzzled.

"Shut up!" Qinglong snapped. "Tiangou, even if you're going to scare yourself to death, do it quietly here."

Tiangou fell silent at once, his expression full of fear as he retreated to the wall.

Tianlong snorted coldly and closed his eyes again, feeling an indescribable chaos in his mind, as if something unusual was happening.

Precious grandson...?

But the immediate priority wasn't worrying about Tiangou—it was the Meng Jing of the multitude.

This time, it seemed to require even more Xin Nian than before; just a thought would drain it dry, and that strange entanglement was also troubling. He couldn't freely exit the Ru Meng state.

He kept his eyes shut, carefully examining the vast Meng Jing world he had just created. His Xin Nian had been interrupted midway, and he wasn't sure if there would be unforeseen consequences.

He transformed himself into an unobtrusive passerby and randomly entered the Meng Jing of a few ordinary Can Yu Zhe, quickly discovering the problem.

The bustling world of traffic and horses had been fully constructed, but there wasn't a single living person in it.

Aside from himself and the owner of the Meng Jing, there was no sign of life anywhere.

Whether on the streets, in schools, prisons, scattered small squares, or buildings, everywhere was utterly empty.

Puzzled, he traversed various Meng Jing, only to find that they were all empty cities.

The Meng Jing had been built, but where were the people in the dreams?

It looked like his Ru Meng had been severely compromised, his power greatly diminished.

When had he become so weak?

He felt an unprecedented fatigue, yet he had still created such a flawed Meng Jing.

Outside the door, things started getting noisy again, with many Sheng Xiao cleaning up in the hallway. Their faint conversations echoed in his ears.

Though people were speaking, Tianlong couldn't make out the words; the sounds were distant and irritating.

The sensation of difficulty breathing surged back, and Tianlong's patience was nearly exhausted.

"Give me Qian Mo," he said with his eyes closed.

"Ah?" Tiangou hesitated. "Qian Mo...? I..."

"Be quiet," someone said. "Tiangou, if you say another word now, I'll make you die."

Tiangou, not understanding, simply kept his mouth shut and pressed tightly against the wall.

"What's Qian Mo for?" Qinglong asked from the side.

"The noise is too chaotic..." Tianlong furrowed his brow. "Lend me your Qian Mo. If possible, lend me your remaining Xin Nian too."

Qinglong sighed and slowly stood up. "Tianlong, you're pushing yourself to the brink for these insignificant beings."

"Stop wasting time... If I fall into dire straits, you won't fare any better," Tianlong murmured with his eyes tightly shut. "If I don't initiate Ru Meng this time, everyone will realize their 'rebellion' has been effective. Those who retain their memories will tirelessly repeat this action, and our situation will become even more dangerous."

Qinglong stepped behind Tianlong and said softly, "First off, I should clarify that I'm not sure if my Xin Nian is stable, but I'll do my best to help you."

"When you're hiding things from me, your Qian Mo is stable enough," Tianlong replied. "Don't delay; I need to focus."

Qinglong nodded and placed his hand on Tianlong's shoulder.

Tianlong felt that Qinglong was indeed quite weak; his hand on his shoulder was as light as a sheet of paper, almost imperceptible.

But his own condition wasn't much better, so he concentrated fully on examining everyone's Meng Jing.

In the next second, a surge of powerful Xin Nian flowed from Qinglong's hand into Tianlong's body. Tianlong felt his state gradually recovering.

Though he could still hear some noise from the hallway, it was as if he had gained a tremendous boost. With Qinglong's assistance, the two of them together completed all the Meng Jing.

The Ru Meng finally returned to its proper form. The Meng Jing now not only had towering buildings but also all sorts of ordinary people appearing in it.
