Chapter 46: Meditation

Chapter 16: Meditation

Lu Yin sat down and started meditating. This was his first time seriously meditating. He focused on the flow of star energy within his body. As a cultivator, he had always absorbed star energy instinctively, but he had never truly felt it. Now, he was meticulously sensing every bit of star energy circulating through his meridians.

At the same time, he activated the star energy visualization technique taught by Liu Shaoge. A dazzling star appeared in his perception, brilliant and vast. He felt insignificant before this star, like a tiny dust mote in the cosmos. This feeling of insignificance, of being small in the face of the boundless universe, was unsettling, but it also spurred him on. He wanted to become stronger, to become a star himself, to shine as brightly as that star.

He followed the star energy as it moved through his body, sensing its presence in his Dantian and meridians. He directed the star energy to flow, guiding it through his body according to specific pathways. Gradually, he began to feel a connection with the star energy, a sense of control.

Time seemed to lose meaning. He continued to meditate, guiding the star energy, feeling it strengthen and purify. His mind cleared, and he felt a sense of peace settle over him. The outside world faded away as he delved deeper into his internal landscape.

Hours passed, maybe even days. He didn't know. His focus was solely on the star energy, on the process of cultivation. He felt the subtle changes happening within his body, the gradual expansion of his Dantian, the widening of his meridians. He was progressing, albeit slowly.

Suddenly, a voice startled him.

"You're finally awake."

Lu Yin opened his eyes and saw Liu Shaoge standing before him.

"How long have I been meditating?" Lu Yin asked.

"Almost three days," Liu Shaoge replied.

Lu Yin was surprised. He hadn't realized so much time had passed.

"How do you feel?" Liu Shaoge asked.

"Good. I feel like I've made some progress."

"That's good. Cultivation is a long and arduous journey. Don't be discouraged if you don't see results immediately."

"I understand," Lu Yin said. He felt a renewed determination to continue cultivating and become stronger.

"Keep meditating," Liu Shaoge said. "The more you practice, the more proficient you will become."

Lu Yin nodded and closed his eyes again, resuming his meditation. He focused on the star energy, guiding it through his body, feeling its presence and power. He was ready to embark on this long journey of cultivation, no matter how difficult it would be.
