Chapter 172: Roadblock

Chapter 172: Blocking the Path

Zhu Biao's eyes widened as he looked at the map. His brows furrowed tightly, and his expression became very serious. He picked up the brush and carefully annotated some details before placing it back down.

He looked up at the old general and asked, "Is this information accurate?"

The old general, a veteran of many battles, had a stern and serious demeanor. He bowed slightly and replied respectfully, "Reporting to His Highness, this information was gathered by our scouts risking their lives. It is absolutely accurate."

Zhu Biao nodded slowly, his gaze still fixed on the map. He pondered for a moment, then said, "This changes things."

He stood up and paced back and forth, his mind clearly working through the implications. The atmosphere in the tent became tense as everyone waited for his decision.

After a period of silence, Zhu Biao finally spoke. His voice was calm, but there was an unmistakable firmness in his tone.

"We need to adjust our strategy. We must block their path here," he said, pointing to a specific location on the map.

The old general and the other officers in the tent exchanged glances. This was a bold move, one that would require careful planning and execution.

The old general stepped forward and said, "Your Highness, that is a dangerous position. It is exposed and difficult to defend."

Zhu Biao met his gaze steadily. "I know. But it is the only way to stop them before they reach *that* point. If they get there, our advantage will be lost."

He turned back to the map, his finger tracing the planned route of the enemy. "We must act quickly. There is no time to waste."

He then began to issue orders, his voice ringing with authority. The officers listened attentively, their expressions grim but determined. The fate of the campaign rested on their ability to execute this new plan flawlessly.
