Chapter 3047: Reunion Again

Under the watchful eyes of all, Ye Tiandi departed.

Behind him, the successive Zhizun watched for a long time, reluctant to look away, their eyes still filled with the same deep admiration.

Now, looking back, that guy's aura was truly dazzling. Aside from his achievements and the legends he created, just having the Female Emperor was enough for him to boast about for eight hundred years.

"I say, why is it so hot!"

Xuan Di's face was flushed, his nostrils flaring with hot breath, and the collar of his robe was torn open, making his entire body seem red.

"Feeling parched."

Beside him, Gui Di was scratching his head and ears, his mind foggy, as an ancient and primal desire gradually eroded his thoughts.

Like them, many other Zhizun felt the same, as if sitting on pins and needles, restless and unable to sit still.

"Hot."

Dou Zhan Sheng Huang grinned, vigorously scratching his monkey fur.

At his side, Kui Niu Di was even more unsettled.

The guy had already stood up, shirtless, wandering back and forth, heading straight toward wherever there was a female Zhizun.

And he wasn't the only one wandering like that.

Silent as always, Xuanyuan Di couldn't help but glance around, looking at this one and that one. Ever since Ye Tiandi left, all these emperors had become unusually abnormal.

"It's like they've taken some aphrodisiac."

Ba Yuan stood with his hands behind his back, glancing left and right.

"From the looks of it, the stuff they took is pretty potent."

Chen Zhan said leisurely.

Joking aside, just think about who administered it. The creations of Da Chu Dan Sheng are top-notch, guaranteed to affect anyone, whether a great emperor or a heavenly emperor, with no exceptions.

How to put it?

After taking it, everyone looks exceptionally attractive.

And the facts proved it.

For instance, Gui Di and Xuan Di. Now, they didn't just find the female Zhizun appealing; even Dou Zhan Sheng Huang and Kui Niu Di looked much more attractive to them than before.

As for the female Zhizun like Donghua Nü Di and Honglian Nü Di, they were a bit baffled, feeling that the way Gui Di and the other Zhizun looked at them was strangely off.

"This scene is truly a feast for the eyes."

Ren Huang sighed, the old hand that he was. He could see right through the situation and had a pretty good idea of what was going on.

"The sacred body's wine shouldn't be drunk carelessly."

Long Di stroked his beard, his words laden with meaning.

But in the end, even they weren't normal anymore.

Just think about who these two emperors really were. Given Ren Wang and Long Ye's temperaments, how could Ye Chen possibly overlook Long Di and Ren Huang? It was just that the effects were taking longer to kick in.

"Old Dragon, help me up. I need to curse someone out."

Ren Huang leaned on a rock to stand, but his legs buckled, and he slumped back down, his mind hazy and filled with visions of beauties.

Long Di wasn't faring much better.

Or to say it another way, anyone who drank the spiked wine was acting out of character, like they were drunk and dazed, shaking their heads.

The Female Emperor opened her eyes and glanced downward.

Indeed, from her lofty height, the view was stunningly beautiful—one Zhizun after another, all lost to themselves.

"Ye Chen, you bastard."

Soon, a thunderous curse echoed through the Taigu Honghuang, from all the affected Zhizun, directed toward the depths, their words bold and unrestrained, blending into a roar that shook the heavens and earth, triggering flashes of lightning and peals of thunder.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

The sounds of vomiting blood came from the entrance to Taigu Honghuang.

It was from the newly arrived emperors and divine generals.

A dense crowd had just entered, barely catching their breath, when they were hit by that barrage of dominating curses, heavy with imperial pressure. Over ninety percent of the divine generals were shaken to the point of spitting blood and fainting on the spot. Even Di Huang and the other emperors felt their souls tremble violently.

"This welcome ceremony is quite something."

Ren Wang clutched his forehead, his head buzzing from the shock, blood streaming from his seven orifices as he staggered in place and finally collapsed.

"I seem to hear someone cursing Ye Chen."

"And it's not just one person."

"This must take how many Zhizun cursing to create such power."

"Always where the action is!"

Bei Lin clicked his tongue, stepping right over Ren Wang as he went, either not noticing or doing it on purpose—the force of his foot was substantial, making Ren Wang's back crackle; who knows how many bones were broken.

"Missed a great show."

Xi Chen sighed, following Bei Lin's path and also stepping over Ren Wang, his kick just as vicious—Ren Wang spat out two more mouthfuls of blood even in his unconscious state.

"Looks painful just watching."

Donghuang Tai Xin glanced over.

This woman was self-aware enough to say that, but her feet didn't stop; she stepped over Ren Wang and walked on, only to turn back after a couple of steps, pull Jian Shen along, and step over him again.

"You three... damn it."

Ren Wang spat out bloody foam, waking briefly only to pass out again—the three emperors hadn't killed him outright, but Donghuang Tai Xin, that crazy woman, had stomped on him three times back and forth.

"Is this Taigu Honghuang?"

Some of the more serious ones were looking around the place, full of curiosity.

It really did resemble the illusion Qi Huan had created earlier. Looking up, the sky was a chaotic haze, the entire world dim, as if shrouded in a layer of mist, like a dim starfield without a single star in sight—vast and boundless, ancient and desolate, like arriving in a realm of ruins, unconsciously aging one's state of mind.

Beyond that, there were the faint laws in the air, barely visible, and if you listened carefully, you could hear the sounds of the Great Dao, occasionally glimpsing ancient visions. Truly a miraculous place.

"Is that the real Female Emperor?"

Di Xuan murmured softly, gazing toward the misty peak. With her imperial vision, she could vaguely see the Heavenly Court Female Emperor sitting cross-legged in the void, still as an ice sculpture, like a fairy from a dream, distant and unattainable.

The other emperors wore similar expressions.

They were emperors too, but compared to the Ancient Heavenly Court Female Emperor, they seemed like they were just playing around.

"That's Gui Di."

"The one next to him should be Xuan Di; I saw him during the emperor tribulation—he's said to have an unstable mind."

"That bald one must be Da Ri Ru Lai."

The Son of the Plane and the Fourth Divine General led the way, one on each side, hands tucked in their sleeves, walking and observing as they went. The emperors present were basically all ones they'd seen in Ye Chen's emperor tribulation, and now they were all living Zhizun.

"This must have involved eating quite a few special products!"

The Son of the Plane tsked. Being from Da Chu, he could tell at a glance from the emperors' states that something untoward had happened; they'd clearly consumed something they shouldn't have.

"No wonder they're cursing Ye Chen."

The Fourth Divine General chuckled; he had to admit, Ye Tiandi's move was brilliantly executed.

"This should be a monkey."

"Don't mess around; it's an ape."

These two were quite amusing, standing one on each side like door gods, hands in their sleeves, planted in front of Dou Zhan Sheng Huang, looking him up and down from every angle.

"Get lost."

Dou Zhan Sheng Huang cursed loudly, flames shooting from his eyes—he was furious, having been tricked by Ye Chen earlier, and now these two were gawking at him like he was a monkey; no wonder he was swearing.

"Yue Shang."

Just as they were watching, Di Huang pushed them aside, like a streak of golden light, his voice hoarse and choked with emotion.

Donghua Nü Di staggered to her feet.

Hearing his call, she burst into tears, her face streaked with them, her vision and mind blurred by the murky flow.

Time had been so long, long like a dream.

In the dream, he was fighting alone against the five Heavenly Demon Emperors, fighting to the death to protect her path, his blood and bones scattered across the stars, his body and spirit destroyed.

When she awoke, the world had changed beyond recognition; the emperor who had died in her arms was alive again, standing before her, calling her by the name Yue Shang with the utmost tenderness.

No words could compare to an embrace.

Di Huang wept uncontrollably, using all his strength, as if he wanted to merge Donghua Nü Di completely into his body.

Who says Zhizun have no tears?

The love of Zhizun is also a history of blood and tears.

This state of mind was something only they could understand.

The successive Zhizun smiled, but their minds were lost in thought. Whether male or female Zhizun, perhaps in some ancient era, each had a loved one.

It's just that time hadn't aged them yet, but they had.

May all lovers in the world become families.

This was the aspiration of mortals, as well as the long-held wish of Zhizun.

"Sacred Monarch, Female Emperor."

In the distance, Zi Xuan hid behind an old tree, peeking out with half her face, like a timid thief stealing glances.

Her murmur went unheard.

But her feelings for him were visible. Donghua Nü Di's remnant soul had passed on not only her memories but also her emotions.

Unfortunately, she was not Donghua Nü Di; she could only hide quietly in the corner, blessing Di Huang and Donghua Nü Di.

"How wonderful."

The Fourth Divine General and the Son of the Plane both smiled.

"Honglian."

No sooner had they steadied themselves than they were pushed aside again.

This time, it was Mo Yuan.

He too streaked past them like a beam of light.

Opposite him, Honglian Nü Di was crying.

Her tears were just as murky, like Donghua Nü Di's, as if she'd had an incredibly long dream.

"I thought you were dead."

In that moment, the magnificent Honglian Nü Di was no longer the lofty Zhizun; she was like a fragile young woman. The instant Mo Yuan held her, she bit down hard on his shoulder, leaving a tooth mark.

"Lian'er, I've missed you."

Silent as Mo Yuan was, he spoke words of love—few though they were, they encompassed years of hardship, a lifetime of confusion, like a walking corpse, until this instant, when he realized he was human, with blood, flesh, emotion, and tears.

Ah!

The Honghuang Emperors sighed; any dislike for Honglian had vanished with Mo Yuan's arrival. It was because of his Honghuang clan that this scarred romance was created. Back then, when Honglian Nü Di burned the eight wastelands' gods, it wasn't without reason.

"Father Emperor."

"Old Ancestor."

"Sister."

The emotional scenes were just beginning.

After Di Huang and Mo Yuan, Kui Niu, Chen Yi, Xuanyuan Emperor's son, Tian Zhi, Ren Wang, Long Ye, and the others all rushed over. They were all connected through the emperor's path—whether through inheritance, offspring, or family—each finding their own, all in tears.

Ah!

The Honghuang Emperors sighed again.

Ah!

The gods and demons sighed too.

Reunions of family were moving.

But they wouldn't get to experience it; their clans had been wiped out completely. What was there to wait for? Not a single one left—that's how thorough the extermination was.

"Old Ancestor!"

"Father Emperor, your child has thought of you every moment."

"Do you still remember the peach tree by the door?"

Beneath the heavens, choked voices continued; the scene in Taigu Honghuang was, overall, quite heartwarming. It was just that time had been so long—even jokers like Kui Niu and the monkey were crying their eyes out.

Their ancestors had no time for them; the special products refined by Dan Sheng were still potent.

"Senior."

Bai Zhi's eyes glistened with tears as she approached Xuan Gu Emperor, bringing the bloodstained armor of Tian Shuo. Though not yet married, she was considered part of the Xuan Gu family.

Xuan Gu Emperor smiled wearily, hugging the armor and crying uncontrollably. Even with the six roots purified, it didn't mean he was devoid of all feelings.

Others, like Yan Emperor, were shedding tears too.

Though they had no daughters-in-law, their sons had close friends, and they'd brought their relics—weapons or armor—still carrying the essence of those children.

"This is the previous epoch!"

Many divine generals wandered off in groups, heading into the distance, observing as they went, wise enough not to interrupt the family reunions.

Taigu Honghuang had no special scenery, only murkiness, dimness, and an undeniable sense of decay.

There was no day or night here.

But today, a bright silver moon hung at the misty peak's zenith, likely an illusion cast by the Heavenly Court Female Emperor, its pure moonlight bathing all of Taigu Honghuang.

Ye Chen walked farther and farther, delving deep enough that even he wasn't sure how far he'd gone. Besides the Female Emperor suspended in the mist, he could see no one else.

Whenever he thought of the Female Emperor, he couldn't help but look up.

She was already like a dream, and with the immortal glow around her, she seemed even more radiant; the silver moon illusion she cast bathed the world in immortal light.

Taigu Honghuang was made wonderful because of her.

To this day, he still didn't know, and he wondered, how had the Female Emperor survived in that illusory vortex, and even advanced to Quasi-Huang? It must have been some heaven-defying opportunity.

When he lowered his gaze, he looked toward his small world.

His beloved was there, still in deep sleep, resting peacefully. Due to Qi Huan's sacrifice, a terrifying power now lay dormant within her—even he felt a sense of dread.

He called out several times, but she didn't wake.

The day she awoke would surely shake the world.

The deeper he went, the greater the pressure.

This was merely the overflow from the Saint Demon; without the seal, standing before it would be impossible.

"What a domineering formation."

Ye Chen murmured to himself, observing along the way; he could vaguely see array patterns and imprints etched in the void, intersecting and weaving, with laws flowing and eternal marks carved in. He could sense the aura of destruction, and even he couldn't trace the source—it was more terrifying than the hidden great array of the heavens. Combined with the Female Emperor's soul and the successive Zhizun, no wonder even the first-generation Saint Demon couldn't force his way out.

Suddenly, he shivered involuntarily.

A breeze blew, carrying a chill, as if from Jiu You, piercing straight to his primordial spirit, ignoring his physical body. Even with his bloodline of ultimate yang, he couldn't withstand that cold.

He knew it was the killing intent of the first-generation Saint Demon, invisible and formless. Without the ancient great array blocking it, many would likely suffer.

At one point, he paused briefly.

Gazing around, the four seas and eight wastelands were deathly silent; looking up, it was all chaos. Viewing the entire Taigu Honghuang, it was like a starfield— one without stars—vast to the point of having no boundaries.
