Chapter 2965: Three Emperors in One Lineage

The ancient road of Taigu Lu was veiled in dimness, now having fallen silent.

At the road's end, the nüdi still stood, like a dreamlike immortal, her figure ethereal. Even Xingtian gazed at her in a trance, so captivated that when Ye Chen toasted him, he hadn't come to his senses. Perhaps the nüdi possessed a mesmerizing power.

Ye Chen smiled, refilling the wine pot and pouring another full cup for Zhanshen.

"What is that Taigu Honghuang like?"

Zhanshen's answer was brief: "It has heaven and earth, mountains and waters."

His words were concise, and even if pressed, he couldn't elaborate further. Taigu Honghuang was a segment of time and space, which he only learned about later, completely overturning the worldview of a zhizun. That's why he was astonished by the Tianting nüdi.

He knew little more about the secrets, and didn't understand why the great emperors of all the heavens had to go to Taigu Honghuang. He only knew that something had gone wrong there, with many divine generals emerging and following Taigu Lu back to the various heavens, claiming to seek reinforcements but actually looking for the Tianting nüdi.

This path was one of blood; those who had traveled with him had either died in battle or been wiped out. He was the one who had gone the farthest, infinitely close to the various heavens, yet still couldn't escape, for the road was severed, making return impossible.

After two cups of wine, it was his turn to pour for Ye Chen.

As an emperor, Zhanshen had the perspective of an emperor. It seemed he knew Ye Chen's secrets and was aware of Ye Chen's connection to Xianwu Di. He had seen Ye Chen in his first life—a supreme figure who shook the ages, a zhizun who, with the cultivation of a great emperor, fought to the death against a Tiandi.

From within the great cauldron, Long Wu's voice suddenly rang out:

"Is my family's Long Di really still alive?"

Long Yi and Long Ye were also there, looking at Zhanshen with hope. Though they had heard Ye Chen say it before, they still wanted a definitive answer.

Zhanshen laughed.

"Achieving Dao by crossing two realms—he's very strong in your family."

Having been to Taigu Honghuang, Zhanshen had seen Long Di firsthand. Though not the strongest emperor, he was an extremely formidable zhizun. At least, among peers, Zhanshen had no confidence in defeating him.

That night, Ye Chen unsealed many people—such as Moyuan, Renwang, Chen Yi, and Xuanyuan Dizi—each connected to an emperor. He wanted them to hear the answer directly from Zhanshen: Donghua, Honglian, Yaochi, Xuanyuan, and Renhuang were all still alive, all in Taigu Honghuang.

That night, there were too many tears. Even the silent ones like Chen Yi and Moyuan shed them freely. Though they had grown old, they now radiated with renewed spirit, feeling that the path ahead was filled with brilliant light once more.

Ye Chen quietly drank his wine, occasionally glancing up at the void sky. Since Dihuang and Hongyan had sat in meditation, three days had passed, and both were enveloped in golden radiance, like two suns.

During that time, he had gone to the end of the road. The nüdi remained motionless, with faint traces of eternal Dao principles appearing and disappearing. She stood there clearly, yet Ye Chen always felt she was more distant than in a dream, as if the eternal Dao had distorted the concept of space.

Ye Chen lifted the wine pot and said casually,

"Could you let my wife out for a chat?"

As soon as he spoke, he realized it was a pointless remark.

Sure enough, the nüdi gave no response. It had been hard enough to fuse them; separating now would make fusion even more difficult. The dark injuries in her body were one issue, and Chuxuan and Chuling were another. Fusing non-virgin forms was more challenging than imagined, and Ye Chen understood that.

If the situation weren't so awkward, she might have given Ye Chen a good thrashing. Why meddle with Tianting's affairs? Didn't he know that the reincarnation of a non-virgin body could lead to problems?

This isn't on me.

Ye Chen glanced sideways at the nüdi, though he didn't speak, his eyes clearly conveyed the sentiment. Back then, he was naive and unaware of heavenly secrets—who could have known those were her two reincarnation bodies, and so strikingly beautiful at that?

Besides, for that first time with Chuling, it wasn't his fault—it was all due to that damned Hehuan San. He was the real victim here, yet he hadn't even gotten a chance to explain himself.

Thinking of that night, Yedi's mind wandered.

In that same instant, a blush appeared on the nüdi's cheeks—perhaps from Chuling's subconscious embarrassment, or maybe the nüdi could read Ye Chen's thoughts. Either way, it added a unique charm.

After the blush, Yedi got hammered.

Zhanshen and the others, still chatting, watched as Ye Chen flew overhead from the top of his head. As an emperor among emperors, his backward flight was still quite imposing. It wasn't until much later that they heard a booming sound, likely from that sovereign landing.

Zhanshen Xingtian cleared his throat, feeling uncomfortable all over. That was a Shengti who had achieved Dao as an emperor! He had slaughtered so many foreign realm zhizun before—how domineering—yet in front of the nüdi, he was so weak, getting beaten at the drop of a hat.

"We're already used to it," Xiaoling Wa said with a deep sigh, his expression profound.

Not just him—the talented people present were all accustomed to it. Back in the various heavens, before Ye Chen had fully risen, he got beaten up every few days. His wives weren't exactly the mild type.

When Ye Chen returned, blood was flowing from one nostril, and the red palm print on his face hadn't faded—it was from the nüdi's eternal Dao strike.

"Senior, whatever you do, don't provoke her," Ye Chen said, sitting down and clutching his face.

"Mm."

Zhanshen Xingtian gave a light hum, as if to say, no need to tell me. Even you got beaten so badly—who would dare cross her? Before coming, Dadi had warned him: provoke anyone but her. That crazy woman didn't hold back.

For many days after, Ye Chen didn't go to the end of the road, afraid of getting beaten again.

He had his own tasks. Every day, he checked the Chaos Great Cauldron, watching the dozen or so Dacheng Shengmo sealed inside. He hadn't devoured them yet—they were saved for Dihuang and Hongyan.

"The old man calculates that your ancestor is about to undergo a tribulation," Xie Yun said, fiddling with his fingers like a charlatan.

No sooner had he spoken than a rumbling sound came from the northern void. Dihuang had already risen, and the once dim sky was instantly covered in dark clouds, with lightning and thunder flashing within, exuding a terrifying pressure.

Boom! Rumble!

In just two or three moments, the southern sky also echoed with booms. There were dark clouds, rampant lightning, and ancient visions—slightly different from Dihuang's, though both were Huanggu Shengti, the two were inherently distinct.

Ye Chen and Zhanshen had already stood up, and the nüdi had turned back to look.

From the looks of it, Dihuang and Hongyan were about to undergo their tribulations on the same day—an unprecedented event in the history of the various heavens—and it was two Shengti at that, another mythic tale.

Boom! Rumble!

Accompanied by the rumbling, the Jidao Dijie of Dihuang and Hongyan descended one after the other, with emperor-level thunder blanketing the northern and southern voids, forming two seas of thunder that obscured the sky.

Dihuang was domineering, charging straight up.

Hongyan was no slouch, radiating unparalleled elegance.

Ye Chen wasn't worried—the so-called thunder tribulations were child's play. The truly fearsome part was what came after, with the emperor Dao law bodies. If they were like his, they'd be even more troublesome.

The fluctuations of the Dijie were massive, shaking Taigu Lu.

Even the three realms of the various heavens were affected.

In that same instant, the three emperors of heaven, earth, and humanity all looked up, their brows furrowing slightly. They had all guessed what it was—not from battle, but from Dijie, and not just one.

"Two people triggering Dijie at once—tch, tch, tch," Mingdi clucked his tongue in amazement, full of admiration. He was certain it was Dihuang and Hongyan's tribulations, only because the shock was so great, and Shengti Dijie had a unique aura from the start.

"The Huanggu Shengti lineage is truly defying the heavens," Daozu said with a deep breath. If they both achieved Dao, added to Ye Chen, this lineage would have three emperors—three Shengti who had become emperors, what a formidable lineup! They could sweep through Taigu Lu.

Donghuang Nüdi said nothing, just quietly gazing upward, as if knowing who was undergoing the tribulation. This would make the various heavens' forces against Taigu Lu even stronger, increasing their chances of victory.

Boom! Rumble!

The heavens and earth of Taigu Lu were enveloped in thunder, with two Jidao Dijie in the north and south, a spectacular sight. Not to mention the divine generals in the cauldron, even Ye Chen watched with shining eyes.

In the end, the emperor thunder couldn't erase Dihuang and Hongyan, and its power gradually dissipated until it vanished from the world.

What followed were the law bodies.

Under everyone's gaze, figures materialized in the northern void—all Shengti law bodies, every Dacheng Shengti from history, including Ye Chen's and Hongyan's, manifested like towering monuments standing in the world.

"Seeing my own law bodies like this is really interesting," Ye Chen murmured lightly, his expression a bit odd. Throughout his cultivation path, during tribulations, he had always fought others' law bodies—this was his first time seeing his own, and the feeling was quite strange.

In the southern void, Hongyan's tribulation also manifested figures.

Unlike Dihuang's, these law bodies included both Shengti and Shengmo, and there were more of them.

That made sense—her bloodline was special, in a way neither a complete Shengmo nor a complete Shengti, belonging to both lineages, so her Dijie was naturally different.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

The battles in the tribulation had begun, with explosions echoing through the universe.

Dihuang was ganged up on, and so was Hongyan, fighting amid crumbling heavens and earth, with destructive visions filling the apocalyptic light.

Zhanshen's expression was calm, as if he had expected this.

The divine generals in the cauldron had eyes like still ancient wells, showing no surprise. Compared to Ye Chen's Dijie, Hongyan and Dihuang's were nowhere near as intense—Ye Chen's had real zhizun as law bodies, not just these.

There was no helping it—who made Ye Chen the first to break the taboo? His tribulation was unlike anyone else's.

At some unknown moment, the Shengti law bodies dissipated.

Yet, the Dijie wasn't over. The emperor Dao law bodies appeared, including all the great emperors of the various heavens—Ye Chen, Yaochi, and many from the ancient Tianting, none missing.

Dihuang, like Zhanshen, and Hongyan, like a queen, were both dominant figures, facing the horde of zhizun alone, battling until the laws turned illusory.

Amid the rumbling, roars of anger seemed to echo.

It must be the heavens furious that two more had challenged their authority.

"The common people in your eyes are not mere ants," Tianting Nüdi said faintly, as if speaking to herself or to the heavens above, her tone cold as ice and devoid of human emotion.

All tribulations have their end.

Dihuang was the first to achieve Dao and become emperor, taking the title Dijun.

This was somewhat like Ye Chen—he was Dizun, and he was Dijun, one the sovereign among emperors, the other the ruler among emperors. The two of them would be the most brilliant stars in the Shengti lineage.

Hongyan followed closely, achieving Dao against the heavens.

She took the title from the rolling mortal world, known as Hongchen Nüdi.

This moment was worth commemorating: one lineage, three emperors.
