Chapter 2901: Slaughter the Peak

"Take your life."

The Tian Ting Nü Di went berserk, her single sword strike destroying an entire star domain, sending the three emperors tumbling through the void.

"I don't believe it."

The three emperors were enraged, their faces contorted in fury as they gnashed their teeth. They all activated their emperor dao forbidden laws, advancing instead of retreating. As three peak great emperors, they refused to accept that they couldn't overcome one incomplete female emperor.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

The battle erupted again, with her facing the three alone.

Though the peak emperors initially disbelieved it, after fighting, they were convinced.

Their roars were loud but futile.

The Dong Huang Nü Di defied the heavens, and the Tian Ting Nü Di was equally domineering. Like two mad female demon gods, the two female emperors each fought three emperors, battling from the misty Western Regions all the way to the Eastern Star Dome.

"Emperor, she is a great emperor."

The common people roared in excitement upon seeing Ji Ningshuang. Tears welled up as they witnessed the brutal war finally holding out until the emergence of an emperor from the myriad heavens.

"She really did it."

The war between Tian Ming and the two realms had ended, and the two emperors of Tian Ming were watching the human realm, murmuring to themselves.

That little girl was truly extraordinary.

She had broken two taboos:

During the emperor tribulation, she forcibly opened the Xue Ji Xian Jie.

Without emperor manifestation, she achieved dao against the heavens.

She had also created a new myth:

Surpassing Dong Hua and becoming the youngest great emperor in the myriad heavens.

"My father is a peerless war god."

"My mother will be the most stunning female emperor."

What Ye Fan had said in his lifetime was indeed correct.

His father was truly a peerless war god.

His mother was truly the most stunning female emperor.

Yet, the price of becoming an emperor was devastating.

She had proven her dao, but he had fallen.

"Female emperor, it's the female emperor. She has returned."

The surviving old quasi-emperors in the forbidden zones teared up the moment they saw Ru Xi.

Their cry of "female emperor" came from the depths of their souls.

Though she was not a complete female emperor and would be as insignificant as an ant before a true one, she still embodied that silhouette—stunning, talented, weathered, immortal, supremely elegant, and utterly supreme.

She was the true supreme sovereign of the ten thousand domains.

With eons of schemes and gambles against the heavens, even a mere shadow was enough to shake the immortal vault.

The eyes of the two emperors from Tian Ming grew hazy and blurred as they gazed at Ru Xi, fragments of ancient memories stirring in their divine seas.

They had waited endless ages and guarded for endless ages, all for the true her to return and continue that unfinished epic chaos from antiquity.

In that war, the ancient Tian Ting had lost, and the common people had lost, but hope had not been extinguished. She still existed, the common people still persisted, and the undying faith would reignite that glory.

After watching the Dong Huang Nü Di and the Tian Ting Nü Di, the two emperors' gazes turned reluctantly to one side.

It should have been a pure land, the only pure land in the myriad heavens' star spaces. Though piled with mountains of corpses, flowing with rivers of blood, and studded with tattered war banners, there was no war there—just utter silence, with a single aged figure floating quietly.

It was Ye Chen, still alive but barely clinging to life. He was not far from death, having offered his blood as sacrifice without leaving any path for himself.

Not to mention them, even if the true ancient Tian Ting Nü Di were present, she might not be able to pull him back from the gates of the underworld.

The Saint Body lineage was a fierce one, a lineage of saviors, and it lived up to its name. Ba Yuan was, Chen Zhan was, Di Huang was, and now Ye Chen continued their fate of being riddled with wounds.

In moments like this, the emperors' expressions were filled with reverence—for Ye Chen and for his entire lineage.

Had he not fought desperately against the nine emperors, Ji Ningshuang could not have proven her dao, and Ru Xi likely would not have held on until their fusion.

A single Saint Body might not alter the course of battle, but it had ignited the flame of hope that should have been extinguished.

And he was the oil for that flame of hope—the fire had been lit, but the oil had burned out.

"War!"

The two emperors' thoughts were pulled back to reality by the roars of the common people.

The two female emperors were fighting, and the cultivators of the myriad heavens were fighting too.

With hope ignited and ancient light sprinkling across the world, their will to fight had reached its peak since cultivation began, reclaiming inch by inch the territory they had lost.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

In comparison, the morale of the Tian Mo and E Mo forces had plummeted.

With nine peak emperors, three already destroyed, and the remaining six unable to stand firm against the two female emperors, how could their commanders hold the line? What fighting spirit did they have left? Even without the myriad heavens attacking, they wanted to retreat.

What had happened? Over twenty great emperors in total—mid-tier ones and peak ones alike. They had a full hand of winning cards, a sure victory, yet it had turned into this utter mess.

Boom! Boom!

The star spaces of the myriad heavens trembled—from the emperor dao battles, the great wars, the Taigu Road, and especially from Ru Xi, who was drawing closer to Da Chu, making the chaotic order even more chaotic.

Fires of war burned across the star spaces, with dark clouds overhead, lightning flashing and thunder roaring. Spatial rifts appeared everywhere, and black hole fissures exploded frequently. Too many cultivators from the myriad heavens, Tian Mo, and E Mo vanished mid-battle—some falling into rifts, some lost in the mists, some sucked into black holes. Dangers lurked everywhere.

"I don't believe it."

It was that same line again, the trademark of the Tian Mo emperors. Whenever they were outmatched or beaten senseless, those three words always surfaced.

And it was the same now.

Whether the Dong Huang Nü Di or the Tian Ting Nü Di, both were overwhelmingly strong, driving them to despair. Their emperor bodies exploded time and again, reformed, and exploded once more. No matter how robust their origins, how abundant their emperor essence, or how destructive their forbidden laws, all seemed futile before the two female emperors.

One-on-one was not enough; ganging up was equally ineffective.

Most importantly, those two women fought like madwomen, both with Xue Ji Xian Jie activated, attacking recklessly without defense—just pure, life-or-death assaults.

The emperors, who had once scorned the Xue Ji Xian Jie, now truly understood its power. Even the Saint Body could endure it, but when a great emperor used it, it became unstoppable.

Pfft!

Emperor dao blood flowers bloomed as brilliantly as ever.

The third peak emperor fell, obliterated by a single sword from the Tian Ting Nü Di, his emperor body destroyed and his emperor dao primordial spirit suppressed in a howl until both body and spirit were extinguished.

Pfft!

Then came the sixth peak emperor, nailed to the void by the Dong Huang Nü Di's sword. As Ji Ningshuang withdrew her sword and walked past, his emperor body collapsed with a boom, and his primordial spirit exploded. Even in death, he was filled with resentment, slain in one strike by a mere entry-level emperor, without so much as a glance from her—it was outright disregard.

Pfft!

Accompanied by a spray of blood, the second peak emperor also entered the gates of the underworld. He had tried to flee, but he was not fast enough for the Tian Ting Nü Di. Her sword pierced him from behind, a strike that annihilated his primordial spirit, and his emperor body turned to ash inch by inch as he fell.

Pfft!

The eighth peak emperor died soon after, his emperor body unable to withstand a palm from the Dong Huang Nü Di, reduced to bloody pulp. His primordial spirit escaped swiftly, but it could not evade execution, split apart by Ji Ningshuang's sword.

If you don't enter the gates of the underworld, I will force you in.

Thus, of the nine peak emperors, seven had been destroyed.

Only the first and ninth peak emperors remained, both too afraid to fight. Dragging their blood-soaked bodies, they fled toward the Qingtian Mo Zhu, aiming to escape back to the Tian Mo domain.

This myriad heavens was too damned cursed.

Boom!

The Tian Ting Nü Di crossed the star river in a single step, her crystalline jade hand covering the cosmos in a world-shattering strike.

Pfft!

The first peak emperor's emperor body instantly turned to blood mist, his primordial spirit distorted and crushed under the pressure, unable to rise. His emperor dao divine power was rendered useless, no matter how much he sacrificed in blood—he could not withstand her palm.

"I am unwilling!"

The first peak emperor howled in rage, his eyes blood-red and his face hideous, but it was all in vain.

Boom!

The female emperor's palm fell, reducing him to ashes.

"In the years to come, when I return to the myriad heavens, I will destroy you."

The ninth peak emperor was more fortunate than the first. Like a beam of emperor light, he crossed eight star domains in succession and vanished into the Qingtian Mo Zhu.

Among the nine peak emperors, he might not have been the strongest in combat, but in speed, he was undoubtedly the best.

"Take your life."

The frenzied Dong Huang Nü Di arrived shortly after.

"Come back."

The two emperors from Tian Ming shouted in unison.

Ji Ningshuang might not know, but they did: Entering the Qingtian Mo Zhu meant the Tian Mo emperor was free from the myriad heavens' suppression. Not only that, he would gain divine power boosts, while Ji Ningshuang would be the one suppressed.

More importantly, it was a passage connecting to the Tian Mo domain. If she followed it there, even as an entry-level emperor—or even a peak heaven emperor—she would be obliterated without a trace.

Unfortunately, their words came too late.

The Dong Huang Nü Di, like a streak of immortal light, chased the ninth peak emperor into the Qingtian Mo Zhu.

She had gone mad, truly mad, her reason drowned in hatred. She would not stop until that Tian Mo emperor was destroyed, even if it meant pursuing him to the Tian Mo domain.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

Immediately, booming sounds echoed from within the Mo Zhu.

It must be that Ji Ningshuang had caught up and engaged the ninth peak emperor. The battle's shockwaves spread outward, making the Qingtian Mo Zhu hum and tremble, swaying as if it might collapse at any moment.

Not only that, destructive halos spread from the Mo Zhu as the center, wiping out the guarding Tian Mo—whether demon lords or demon soldiers—in waves.

The Ming emperor's eyes were bloodshot.

The Dao Zu's eyes were equally red as he stared fixedly at the Qingtian Mo Zhu.

If the Mo Zhu collapsed, Ji Ningshuang would be trapped inside, as good as dead. The myriad heavens had fought so fiercely just to reach her dao-proving as emperor—what a waste if she fell there.

People of the Saint Body lineage were admirable in every way, except they were too driven by emotion—or rather, their obsessions ran too deep. Once set on something, they would not turn back.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

Elsewhere, the Tian Ting Nü Di had reached the edge of the cosmos, smashing the remaining eight Qingtian Mo Zhu one by one with a palm each.

As the Mo Zhu crumbled, countless Tian Mo wailed and perished.

The pressure on the myriad heavens' cultivators eased dramatically, and they fought even more fiercely.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

The Tian Mo and E Mo were in utter misery, being slaughtered in droves. Not a single Tian Mo resisted, and not a single E Mo had any will to fight. From top to bottom, they were all fleeing. With the last peak emperor gone and the eight Mo Zhu destroyed, what was the point of continuing?

"Don't go in."

The two emperors from Tian Ming's shouts echoed through the myriad heavens, separated by barriers.

They were calling to Ru Xi.

Looking toward the Tian Ting Nü Di, she had reached the final Mo Zhu.

Like a madwoman—perhaps due to Chu Xuan and Chu Ling's influence—she too followed and entered the Qingtian Mo Zhu.

Oh dear!

Not just the Ming emperor, even the Dao Zu rubbed his brow.

Those two women were nothing but trouble. Once they lost their minds, there was nothing they wouldn't do.
