Chapter 2664: Impressive!

Boom! Bang! Boom!

War raged across Tianjie, with flames of conflict and smoke filling the skies, turning the battle into a nightmarish slaughter. As Xuan Di had foreseen, the decisive war between the heavens and the realms was a cruel irony—friends fought friends, countless lives were extinguished, bodies piled into mountains, and blood flowed like rivers.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

Yechen unleashed devastating attacks, sweeping across the eight directions. Figures plummeted from the sky one after another, blood flowers blooming in the heavens, each more vibrant than the last.

Kill!

Yudi charged into the firmament once more, his demonic aura overwhelming. With a single palm strike that split the heavens, he forced Yechen to stagger back, his body exploding with cracks as fresh blood sprayed forth.

At this point, the battle paused again.

The veteran immortals of the Heavenly Court all ceased fighting, turning their gazes toward Yudi. They narrowed their eyes and furrowed their brows—Yudi's current state was extraordinarily strange, his aura cold and savage, evoking a sense of dread in their hearts.

Beyond that, his oppressive presence was so powerful it made their souls tremble, a force surpassing that of a zhundi, accompanied by omens of destruction.

Only Yechen remained unfazed.

He had long known that Yudi's original form was an emperor from the Tianmo Domain. Now, with his source essence revived, carrying the might of the ultimate dao, it was no surprise.

"No respite until death." Yudi gritted his teeth, his words filled with rage. Though he lacked the memories of the heavens' demons, he possessed the divine power of an emperor, far beyond what any ultimate dao imperial artifact could match.

Woo! Woo woo!

Suddenly, fierce winds howled, carrying eerie wails like the cries of vengeful ghosts, emanating from Yudi and his overwhelming demonic aura. It seemed as though countless resentful spirits were hidden within, shrieking in agony.

The Heavenly Court's immortals felt their hearts quiver again. In a daze, they seemed to glimpse a scene—a landscape of corpse mountains and blood seas, like an endless hell.

Woo! Woo woo!

The ghostly wails did not come solely from Yudi.

From Yechen's side, similar cries echoed, along with a torrential demonic aura—the kind that trampled over corpse mountains and waded through blood seas, shrouding the sun and moon in darkness.

Yudi had become a demon, and so had he.

Yudi harbored deep hatred for him, and he felt the same toward Yudi. The surging aura of the heavens' demons stirred his own violent killing intent, reminding him of his past life, of the bloody Dachu, where ninety million heroic souls had met their end.

Kill!

Yudi roared ferociously, and Yechen bellowed in response.

The two demonic figures needed no preamble—one charging from west to east, the other from east to west—one surging over a sea of blood, the other treading a river of blood. Both threw punches that pierced through the vast void.

Boom!

Their fists collided, sending out waves of pitch-black, annihilating light that spread like the glow of doomsday. Everywhere it touched, the universe crumbled, yin and yang shattered, and space fractured inch by inch. Countless mountains and peaks were cleaved in two, and innumerable veteran immortals were sent flying, spitting blood.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

Accompanied by earth-shaking roars, Yechen and Yudi plunged into the hazy heavens, fighting bare-handed in a battle that could destroy worlds.

That battlefield was none other than the Great Dao Supreme Heaven, where silent immortal light rampaged and doomsday brilliance soared, transcending the void and extending beyond the end of time.

"You two are truly excellent!"

Xuan Di sighed with emotion, tilting his head to gaze upward. As an emperor's shadow, he understood the significance of the Great Dao Supreme Heaven—it was a battlefield reserved for emperors. Yet these two zhundi-level fighters had actually made it there.

But upon reflection, he felt at ease.

Whether the Heavenly Court's ruler or its holy lord, both were connected to emperors—one's former self was an emperor, the other's was the reincarnation of an emperor. Their entry into the Great Dao Supreme Heaven was only natural, as both were tied to the emperor's dao.

"Great Dao Supreme Heaven has appeared, and you're still sound asleep?" Xuan Di's shadow muttered a curse, taking a moment to scold the Dao Ancestor, doing so with great enthusiasm.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

As he cursed, the battle in the Great Dao Supreme Heaven grew even more brutal.

Driven by hatred, Yudi had become a madman; likewise, fueled by hatred, the emperor of Dachu fought with frenzied rage. Neither defended nor dodged—they only attacked relentlessly. You land a punch on me, and I'll strike back with a palm. Their blood and bones scattered from the Supreme Heaven, transforming mid-fall into dragon forms that continued the assault, refusing to stop until death.

"What is that place?"

Below, the immortals all looked up in astonishment at that distant battlefield, far above the void and beyond reach. Though they could see the two figures, it felt like a dream, both real and illusory, blurring the line between reality and illusion for them.

Boom!

Once again, under everyone's gaze, Yudi plummeted from the sky.

Looking up, his figure was like a falling meteor, engulfed in utter annihilating light, his form unrecognizable. His demonic aura had been scattered, his body shattered, and even his ultimate dao imperial artifact, the God-Striking Whip, had been knocked from his grasp.

Another boom echoed as a mountain peak was smashed to rubble, the flying debris ground to dust, stained with Yudi's blood.

His defeat left the heavenly soldiers and generals utterly disheartened. If even Yudi, wielder of an imperial artifact, had fallen, who in the Heavenly Court could stand against Yechen?

Kill!

Yechen descended as well, his body broken but regenerating through his bloodline limits. Gripping an iron rod, he dove from the heavens, accompanied by a tidal wave of demonic aura like a dark canopy, instantly collapsing the firmament and plunging the world into darkness.

Yudi lay quietly on the ground, blood pouring from his mouth. Though he wanted to rise and fight on, he lacked the strength. His eyes bulged, veins of bloodshot red, filled with unyielding hatred.

"Protect the emperor!"

The Heavenly Court's experts roared in fury, swarming to his defense. They showed true loyalty—if the one under attack were Yechen, people like Xie Yun and Situ Nan would do the same, risking their lives in succession to save him.

In this, Yudi could count himself fortunate. His old comrades had not abandoned him in this critical moment; their bond was forged through life-and-death trials.

Begone!

Yechen's shout thundered through the heavens—he was seeing red now, advancing step by step, each swing of his rod clearing a path through the crowd. No one could block him as he carved a bloody trail through the sea of figures, trampling over corpse mountains and wading through blood seas.

The Heavenly Court's forces collapsed again, countless experts and soldiers scattered in disarray by one man alone, their cries of agony echoing across the land.

"Oh, Taigong! Open your eyes!"

Many wailed desperately, their voices shaking the heavens, calling upon the ancient deity of Tianjie. The Heavenly Court was defeated—if he did not reveal himself, the entire upper immortal realm would be laid waste.

"Stop this!"

Amid the cries, a mighty roar echoed through the nine heavens. An ancient immortal light manifested from the haze, revealing a figure in white robes and white hair, ethereal as an immortal—Jiang Taigong had truly arrived, finally awakening and showing his true form.

The devastation of the Heavenly Court was a shocking sight. How long had he been sealed away? The once peaceful immortal land had become a hellish nightmare, with mountains of corpses, rivers of blood, and countless shrieks like the wails of ghosts. Even his steadfast heart was thrown into turmoil.

What he could not hide was his guilt. If he had awakened sooner, the Heavenly Court would not have fallen to this state, nor would the heavens and realms have clashed so fiercely, with so many lives lost. As the ancient deity of Tianjie, he bore undeniable responsibility.

"He's here! Taigong is here!"

Billions of shouts blended into a tragic chorus. The Heavenly Court's experts teared up, their voices choked with emotion, on the brink of tears. At this life-or-death moment, the ancient deity had returned. He would turn the tide, slay the demon, and restore Tianjie's former glory.

"Has he really come?"

The battles across the upper realms halted instantly. The heavenly soldiers and generals were shouting, while the allied san xians from various realms all lifted their heads. The great war between the heavens and realms ceased in an instant with the cry of "Taigong has come." Many exchanged glances before rushing toward that domain, eager to see Jiang Taigong for themselves.
