Chapter 2643: The Grand Alliance

"Come, continue."

At the base of Hua Shan, Ye Chen's curses echoed incessantly. Previously listless, he was now full of vitality, even mustering the energy to shout insults. With Di Yun aiding him in battle, he not only held his ground but also built up his strength.

However, he only cursed without launching a counterattack. The Zhu Xian Curse persisted, its assault fierce and unrelenting. That multicolored immortal sword was stubbornly persistent, refusing to stop until Ye Chen was destroyed.

Ye Chen endured patiently, merely venting through words while resisting and gathering power, aiming to strike back and leave the Zhu Xian Jian half-dead.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

The heavens were a void, with the Zhu Xian Jian suspended and trembling. Its multicolored immortal light remained strikingly bright, though it was gradually fading. Each tremor dimmed the light a bit more.

It was truly restless. As soon as it regained some power, it eagerly sought to settle scores with Ye Chen, employing heaven-defying methods. Even through the barrier of the calamity response, it could trace back to the source, using a terrifying curse.

Yet, human plans often fail against fate. It had underestimated Ye Chen, who was undergoing the calamity with his memories intact and possessing formidable combat strength. Its curse failed to erase him on the spot.

What frustrated it most was that Ye Chen had external aid—a force infused with ultimate Dao emperor power, directly opposing it and attacking even more fiercely than its own assaults.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

As time passed, the Zhu Xian Jian's vibrations grew more intense, driven by anger or resentment. It launched attacks repeatedly. If it were a person, its face would surely be twisted in a grotesque, demonic expression.

How many times was this? Every attempt to confront Ye Chen ended unsuccessfully. Not only did it fail to destroy him, but it also suffered injuries each time.

The legendary Desolate Ancient Holy Body truly seemed to be its nemesis. It had slain so many great accomplishment Holy Bodies, yet this minor one continually thwarted it.

Beyond that, each attack inadvertently granted Ye Chen opportunities for growth. For instance, before the calamity, it was the Zhu Xian Jian that fully unlocked Ye Chen's Holy Body divine repositories. If he survived the calamity, those repositories would continue as they were—a fully unlocked Desolate Ancient Holy Body.

"I love you to death."

In the void, Ye Chen's words seemed to echo faintly. That seven-colored immortal sword was both his greatest enemy and his greatest benefactor. Along his path, it had provided countless fortuitous encounters. One could say the Zhu Xian Jian played a pivotal role in his rise.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

As if hearing Ye Chen's words, the Zhu Xian Jian vibrated even more violently, losing its usual wisdom to rage. The multicolored immortal light, which had been steadily dimming, suddenly intensified, likely at a tremendous cost, as it pressed on with its assault.

"Hold on."

Ye Chen snorted coldly. Provocation was effective; he wanted to enrage the Zhu Xian Jian, make it lose its senses. In a fury, it might do anything, like sacrificing its own origin for greater power—a self-damaging tactic.

He remained calm, protected by Di Yun, allowing it to attack as it wished. He waited for it to weaken, then he would show it why the flowers were so red.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The thunderous roars inside his body grew more frequent, with lightning rampaging both within and on his surface, only to be forcefully extinguished by the reverse-world reincarnation.

On the surface, this was a confrontation between Ye Chen and the Zhu Xian Jian, but in reality, it was Ye Chen and the Dao Ancestor Di Yun joining forces against it. Ye Chen led the main attack, while Di Yun provided support. Once the timing was right, they would unite for a counteroffensive against that accursed sword.

Thus, three days passed quietly.

Ye Chen and the Zhu Xian Jian battled fiercely, while the Tian Ting and Hua Shan clashed just as intensely. The northern wall, guarded by Tian Qing, and the eastern wall, guarded by Xiu Luo Tian Zun, remained free of booming sounds.

The southern and western walls, however, faced relentless assaults from the Tian Ting forces, which seemed intent on breaking through from those sides, perhaps realizing the east and north were too fortified.

Unfortunately, the defenses on those two walls were extraordinarily strong. Hua Shan had concentrated most of its forces there, showing no concern for the east and north, where two supreme experts held the line, thoroughly suppressing the Tian Ting army's morale.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

On the outskirts, Hua Shan's allied forces were mischievously active, darting in to cause trouble, striking and then retreating, only to attack elsewhere. This kept the Tian Ting army on edge, resulting in significant casualties after several skirmishes.

Beyond that, more allies continued to join, all opting for guerrilla tactics rather than direct confrontation, each one more agile than the last.

"Your Highness, the situation is growing increasingly unfavorable."

On the cloud platform, the old Xian Jun addressed Yin Yang once more.

Yin Yang remained silent, as he had anticipated. Failing to capture Hua Shan quickly had put the entire Tian Ting army on the defensive, mired in a quagmire.

Whether in the past or now, he had never underestimated the scattered immortal realm. Tian Ting was a powerful dragon, but the lower realm was a local serpent. Fighting on enemy territory meant they held none of the advantages of heaven, earth, or people.

"Waste, a bunch of waste."

In the sovereign's palace, Yin Ming howled again, perfectly embodying a mad dog barking. His bloodshot eyes were filled with savagery and bloodlust. As always, if not for his fear of Ye Chen, he would have led the charge himself.

His words made the Xian Zun in the hall grimace, as it seemed to include not only his third imperial brother and the Tian Ting army but them as well.

"Reinforce the troops! Send more forces from the entire Tian Ting!"

Yin Ming roared, smashing everything around him. "I want to see how long a mere Hua Shan can hold out."

The Xian Zun rose and departed for the lower realm, out of sight and out of mind, growing more irritated with Yin Ming by the moment. If you're so capable, go down there yourself!

The Tian Ting sovereign had truly gone mad, mobilizing the full might of Tian Ting. Many self-sealed old Xian Jun and Xian Zun were awakened, and even the heavenly soldiers and generals guarding the four directions were recalled in large numbers, continuously dispatched to the lower realm.

Once again, the people of the scattered immortal realm witnessed Tian Ting's terrifying depth. Vast armies, like an endless ocean, blanketed the skies as they arrived.

"I knew Tian Ting was strong, but not this strong."

The Jiao Long King, blocking the East Sea, sighed in amazement. Tian Ting's naval forces were also reinforcing steadily, repeatedly assaulting the land only to be repelled each time, with heavy losses.

Like him, the great demons, races, and factions of the scattered immortal realm were all stunned by the disparity in power.

The pressure on Hua Shan intensified again, with many elders and imperial descendants donning armor and rushing to the walls. The war had begun, leaving no path for retreat—repelling Tian Ting meant survival; being breached meant death.

Before the Huan Tian Shui Mu, the Hua Shan Zhen Ren's face darkened further. Gazing at the ancient starry skies, where stars like dust formed endless clusters of Tian Ting armies, Hua Shan seemed like a mere grain in the vast sea, insignificant.

Fortunately, Hua Shan's Di Yun was resilient, sustaining the entire protective barrier. Without it, Hua Shan would have already been reduced to ruins.

"Seek aid from all directions, keep urging them."

Di Yuan Zhen Ren's voice boomed with irritation. Too many forces and races had promised alliances but failed to send troops, content to watch from the sidelines under the guise of recuperation.

No need for him to say it; the Hua Shan elders abroad were already busy rallying support.

"Join the battle."

On the third day, the Tai Shan lineage mobilized, with the new sect leader showing extraordinary resolve, personally leading the charge. The nine great hall masters advanced with fierce momentum, their Tai Shan army surging like a tidal wave, their battle intent burning like fire.

"Join the battle."

On the sixth day, the Song Shan lineage raised its war banners, its new sect leader acting with swift decisiveness, clad in battle armor and wielding an immortal sword.

"Join the battle."

On the ninth day, the Heng Shan and Heng Shan sects deployed their armies, both new sect leaders taking the field personally, with their divine sons and daughters at their sides, ready for the crucible of war. Each one brimmed with high spirits.

This day was worth commemorating. The five sacred mountains of the scattered immortal realm, after countless ages, truly allied against the upper realm's Tian Ting for the first time. Regardless of the outcome, it would leave a profound mark in heavenly history.

The participation of the four mountains became a turning point, prompting other lower realm forces and races to respond. Previously deterred by Tian Ting's might, they now followed the five mountains' lead, dispatching troops one after another.

"Very well, join the battle."

Even former adversaries set aside their conflicts, no longer watching from the sidelines. They recognized an undeniable truth: this was no longer just Hua Shan's war with Tian Ting but a decisive clash between the upper and lower realms. No force could remain isolated.

In addition, hidden reclusive cultivators emerged one by one, and even spectators formed groups to join in. It was a rare spectacle, and they relished the chance to challenge the Tian Ting's arrogance in the lower realm.

"Bully the lower realm and think no one will stand up?"

On a pitch-black night, the Kun Lun armies marched out of the Feng Chan Immortal Land, accompanied by numerous hidden sects, forces, and races from the area. They formed a vast ocean, devouring everything in their path as they headed straight for the Hua Shan battlefield. With Hua Shan on the brink, the Kun Lun sect leader could no longer hold back and finally sounded the call to war.

Overlooking the skies, it was a river of figures surging forth, their destination Hua Shan.

Over ninety percent of the scattered immortal realm's forces and races had joined the fight. The Tian Ting armies surrounding Hua Shan continued to expand, but the encircling alliance of the scattered immortal realm was equally formidable.

This was the first true grand alliance of the five sacred mountains and the scattered immortal realm as a whole. The explosive power they unleashed even struck fear into Tian Ting.

"Why does this make me want to cry with emotion!"

The Niu Mo Wang gripped his battle axe, watching the reinforcements from all sides, truly moved to tears. After endless ages of deceit and strife among forces, this united scene evoked deep sentiment.

"The lower realm can finally stand against Tian Ting."

Gazing at the Huan Tian Shui Mu and the incoming aid from every direction, Hua Shan Zhen Ren took a deep breath. As the current sect leader, he felt honored to witness this historic moment.
