Chapter 1882: Trapped

"Stop fighting."

Ye Chen stood several ten thousand zhang away, his body covered in fresh blood, yet he cursed nonstop, "What's going on? Just now, we were fighting Di Qu together?"

Hong Chen and Liu Dao ignored his outburst completely, fighting even more fiercely, as if they wouldn't stop until one was dead.

Ye Chen's face darkened. He summoned his Zhun Di Bing for protection and kept retreating, not daring to get close enough to intervene.

In the past, Hong Chen and Liu Dao, without any Ji Dao Di Bing, had been able to beat the three emperors of Da Chu so badly they couldn't lift their heads.

Now, both of them wielded Di Bing, and only Ye Chen was left alone. In this situation, only a fool would rush in for trouble.

"Hit them, beat them to death! After you're done, I'll collect the bodies for you." Ye Chen gave up on trying to stop them and just darted around the edge of the battlefield, cursing with spittle flying everywhere.

His yelling seemed to spur them on, as Hong Chen and Liu Dao suddenly changed locations, continuing their fight out of the black hole.

Ye Chen stopped jumping and cursing, standing there in a daze with his mouth hanging open for a long time.

What was this? You two just left me here? Fine, fight if you want, but at least give back the Ji Dao Di Bing! And if not that, at least get me out of here!

Ye Chen clutched his chest and coughed up a mouthful of old blood.

He knew that his Lun Hui Eye was in a sealed state, unable to access the Tian Dao, which meant he couldn't communicate with the heavens. In simple terms, he was stuck in the space black hole and couldn't get out.

The black hole fell silent, but the starry sky outside turned lively.

Two supreme ruthless figures were battling, both armed with Di Bing. The scene was incredibly grand, with every collision shattering the starry sky and turning stars into dust.

This commotion shocked everyone from all directions, drawing them to investigate. That once desolate star domain had become a chaotic mess.

"Hong Chen? Liu Dao?" The older Zhun Di stared in surprise, as if they all recognized these two peerless ruthless individuals.

"We haven't heard about them for so long, and now they show up fighting each other. What's happening?" Many people scratched their heads in confusion.

"During the second Tian Mo invasion, the two of them merged with Ye Chen and even participated in slaying the emperor. They should be allies, right? But this looks like a fight to the death!"

"Weird." Cultivators from all sides murmured in discussion, not daring to get too close for fear of the backlash. Those two ruthless figures were both wielding Ji Dao Di Bing, after all.

The starry sky was packed with people, but Hong Chen and Liu Dao ignored them all. One held the Feng Huang Qin above their head, the other fused with the Yu Ruyi, unleashing world-shaking divine abilities that upended that section of the starry sky.

As they fought, they plunged back into the space black hole.

Ye Chen, who was in the black hole feeling frustrated, saw them return and quickly got up, suddenly full of energy, chuckling, "I knew it! You wouldn't leave me behind."

But just as he approached, Hong Chen and Liu Dao fought their way out again, and a residual wave knocked Ye Chen flying on their way out.

The space black hole grew quiet again, while the starry sky outside buzzed with excitement.

The spectators who had been about to leave turned back.

Hong Chen and Liu Dao, showing mutual respect and a certain flair, battled dozens of rounds in the starry sky before heading back into the black hole to continue. Then, in the midst of fighting, they returned to the starry sky.

This back-and-forth shuttle warfare happened over a dozen times.

The starry sky watchers weren't too bothered, but Ye Chen was furious, cursing up a storm. Every time he saw a chance to escape, it turned to despair. He just watched Hong Chen and Liu Dao come and go, never acknowledging him.

"Those two jerks." Ye Chen clutched his chest tightly, feeling pain all over his body. He no longer hoped they'd take him out; he just needed to stay put in the black hole and calm down.

In the starry sky, Hong Chen and Liu Dao had fought their way to another star domain, with crowds of spectators following like a dark mass.

However, their Shen Fa had already defied the laws. As they battled, no one knew where they went next. The pursuers followed all the way but eventually lost track of them.

By the time the giants of Da Chu arrived, the starry sky was a wreck, with no sign of Hong Chen and Liu Dao, and no trace of the battle's fluctuations. No one knew where to look for them.

"After all this time, Hong Chen and Liu Dao are still fighting." Yan Huang stood in the starry sky, his eyes flickering uncertainly.

"From what the spectators said, both of them are holding Di Bing—probably the Feng Huang Qin and the Yu Ruyi." Zhan Wang pondered.

"The Yu Ruyi was in Ye Chen's hands, and the Feng Huang Qin was lent to Ji Ningshuang. How did they end up with Hong Chen and Liu Dao?"

"Once we find them, we'll ask and find out—there must be some incident." Dong Huang Tai Xin said casually, turning to leave first. "Split up and search, find Ye Chen and the others as quickly as possible."

The Zhun Di didn't waste time, pairing up and heading in all directions. Anything involving Hong Chen and Liu Dao had everyone's full attention.

As soon as they left, a graceful figure stepped out of a Yu Men. She was stunningly beautiful and extraordinarily elegant—it was Di Ji.

The giants of Da Chu had arrived late, and so had she. She had missed Liu Dao and didn't know when she'd see them next.

The storm of this battle came quickly and ended just as fast, but the starry sky remained unsettled, with figures darting about everywhere.

They were all heading in the same direction: toward the star domain of the Tian Zun ruins. Both elders and juniors were going, hoping to find opportunities in the ruins, especially since it involved Da Luo Jin Xian.

In the black hole, Ye Chen sat there listlessly. It had been three or five days since Hong Chen and Liu Dao last left, and he hadn't seen them return.

"What a mess!" Ye Chen rubbed his brows repeatedly. If he had a Di Bing, he could probably blast open a passage, but unfortunately, both the Feng Huang Qin and Yu Ruyi had been taken.

He had tried the Di Dao Tong Ming, but it was blocked, preventing him from using the underworld to escape through Yan Luo from the black hole.

Besides that, he had attempted various secret techniques and divine abilities, but none could connect to the starry sky.

"At this rate, I'll definitely miss the Tian Zun ruins." Ye Chen coughed up blood again. He had planned to go on a rampage there, but now he was trapped in the black hole.

Without his powerful support, the situation for the various Tian Di Zi would be tough. They might even be wiped out in the ruins, with no one left to collect their bodies.

"Hmm?" Just as he was frustrated, a faint ethereal light streaked by in the distance, making him look up suddenly.

Upon closer inspection, it wasn't just light—it was an ancient bronze coffin, covered in symbols and radiating a dark aura.

"Tian Mo?" Ye Chen jumped to his feet. Though it was far away, he could clearly smell that hateful aura. No one knew the scent of Tian Mo better than he did, which meant there was a Tian Mo buried in that bronze coffin.

Without hesitation, he chased after it, merging the three Di Bing he carried into his body to boost his combat power. With no Di Bing left, he had to rely on his Zhun Di Bing. That bronze coffin wasn't ordinary, so he had to be cautious.

And so, the bronze coffin fled ahead while he pursued, both glowing with immortal light, standing out starkly in the black hole.

Ye Chen furrowed his brows. This wasn't his first encounter with Tian Mo in the black hole; he didn't know where they came from. Hiding here, they must have some hidden secret.

The bronze coffin seemed to have a spirit and sensed the pursuer behind it, speeding up with thunderous flashes on its surface.

"Where do you think you're going?" Ye Chen snorted coldly, using Shrink the Ground into an Inch seven or eight times to catch up in an instant. He swung his sword and struck.

The bronze coffin was incredibly tough. It was flipped over but didn't shatter. It hovered in the black hole, buzzing and trembling violently, with wails echoing from inside, carrying an irresistible demonic power.

"Seal!" Ye Chen formed a seal with one hand, using the Tai Xu secret technique to create a cage that trapped the ancient bronze coffin.

However, the coffin was extraordinary. It expanded massively like a mountain, bursting the Tai Xu cage apart.

After breaking free, the coffin didn't flee. Instead, in its massive mountain-like form, it smashed down from the sky toward Ye Chen, trying to crush him.

Ye Chen shouted coldly, instantly activating his Ba Ti—specifically, the external Ba Ti form—and punched it, knocking the coffin over once more.

"You're asking for it." A roar echoed from inside the coffin.

If anyone were here, they'd shiver all over. It was a coffin, meant for the dead, yet it roared like this—was it a 诈尸? Maybe an ancient monster.

Ye Chen narrowed his eyes but couldn't see through the bronze coffin or the person inside. In his view, the one in the coffin was either a corpse that had gained intelligence or a living person sealed within.

Either way, since it was a Tian Mo, it couldn't be allowed to escape.
