Chapter 1734: Emperor Dou Physique

Chapter 1734: Di Qu

Ye Chen’s roar attracted the attention of the entire Lingyu army toward Youyuan.

As everyone watched, Ye Chen was blasted out of Youyuan, his body covered in blood, with his gleaming bones exposed.

“This…” The sight shocked everyone present.

A Huanggu Shengti combined with a Diji—what immense power. What kind of opponent could have beaten him so badly?

“Retreat! Everyone, retreat!”

Ye Chen staggered as he yelled frantically, offering no explanation, only wild roars.

Mingjue was stunned, Yanluo was stunned, and the Lingyu army was stunned.

What had happened? What had Ye Chen encountered to end up like this?

While everyone stood frozen, a pressure that made the heavens tremble surged from Youyuan, spreading endlessly across the eight directions.

It was Dadi Wei, like an invisible hand sweeping over the world.

Wherever it reached, mountains collapsed, space shattered inch by inch, and everything turned to ash, dissolving into eternal destruction.

The already dim sky was now plunged into total darkness.

Dark clouds blanketed the heavens, with lightning flashing and thunder roaring, as if a world-ending tribulation was intent on erasing all living beings.

“Da Dadi…” Everyone’s bodies trembled.

This Dadi Wei was world-shattering and earth-ending, far beyond what any Jidao Diji could match. It came from a true emperor, impossible to imitate.

“How can there be a Da Dadi?” The Ten Halls of Yanluo spoke with trembling voices, their eyes wide and pupils contracted in disbelief.

Though Mingjue, Bai Zhi, Chu Ling, and Qing Luan carried Dibing, their faces turned pale as paper, their hearts quaking with fear.

The Lingyu army, from the Quasi-Di elders to the Shengren juniors, all retreated en masse, their eyes filled with terror.

Only then did they understand why Ye Chen had been beaten so severely. How could he stand against a Da Dadi?

Yet, this was beyond anyone’s expectations—the depths of Youyuan hid an emperor. The news was utterly despairing.

Under the watchful eyes of all, a majestic figure stepped out of Youyuan, clad in ancient armor, exuding a cold and imposing aura. His body was as unyielding as a mountain, impervious to any force.

His steps were rigid, his eyes hollow, and his expression emotionless. Space could not withstand the pressure, cycling between collapse and regeneration, with scenes of destruction weaving together like the end of the world.

True emperor Dao principles coiled around his towering form, each thread infused with the peak of the Great Dao.

“Retreat! Everyone, retreat!”

Ye Chen continued to roar.

The Lingyu army snapped out of their daze and fled desperately. Who could withstand a Da Dadi? No one could block even a single strike from an emperor.

“Give me the Dibing!”

Ye Chen crossed the void in a single step, arriving at Chu Ling and Mingjue’s side, his voice urgent.

“What are you doing? That’s a Da Dadi!”

Mingjue scolded.

“There’s no time for your nonsense.”

Ye Chen cursed loudly and waved his hand, drawing out the Dibing from Mingjue’s body and merging it into his own.

Meanwhile, the Jidao Diji from Bai Zhi, Chu Ling, and Qing Luan’s bodies flew out on their own, all entering Ye Chen’s body.

These were Diji, the life weapons of emperors, possessing their own intelligence. They knew clearly that only the Shengti could confront something at the Da Dadi level.

Thus, they willingly allowed Ye Chen to command them, aiding him in the battle against the emperor. The combined power of these Jidao Diji could destroy heavens and earth.

“Ye Chen…”

Chu Ling’s voice carried a sob.

“Go!”

Ye Chen waved his hand, sweeping Chu Ling, Bai Zhi, and Qing Luan away to safety, far from the Di Qu.

Tears blurred Chu Ling’s eyes as Ye Chen’s figure grew faint in her vision, as if he might vanish in an instant.

An unprecedented fear overwhelmed her heart.

After over three hundred years of separation, she might now have to watch Ye Chen fall to the heavens. This parting could be forever.

Ye Chen smiled, then turned around. With five Diji gathered in his body, their powers intertwined, unleashing a devastating Dadi Wei.

He then drew upon the Benyuan blood of Di Huang, leaving three drops for future use to connect with Di Huang, and swallowed the rest.

The Benyuan blood of a Dacheng Shengti merged into him, amplifying the already destructive Dadi Wei to rival that of a true emperor.

He activated his Ba Ti, deploying hundreds of forbidden techniques simultaneously. He was mad, pushing his combat power to the limit without regard for the cost.

The only regret was that Lingyu lacked Quasi-Di on the level of Da Chu Jiu Huang and the Nine Divine Generals—sending anyone else would be suicide.

As for the Ten Halls of Yanluo, they could fight at their peak.

But unfortunately, they were only in their Tong Ming forms, not at full strength. Even as Ban Di, they couldn’t hold their ground.

Thus, in all of Lingyu, only he could truly face the Di Qu head-on. This was the supreme glory of the Shengti.

His aura transformed, undergoing a self-induced rebirth. Boosted by the Diji and Sheng blood, his power soared, inching ever closer to that of an emperor.

His hair turned golden, his eyes shimmering with a radiance that encompassed the heavens and earth, while his golden Qi and blood surged like raging flames.

“Is he going to fight a Da Dadi to the death?” The various factions’ ancestors stared in astonishment. Everyone else had retreated, yet Ye Chen remained.

The elders exchanged glances and stepped forward collectively.

They were Quasi-Di, after all! It was ironic to flee while letting a junior charge ahead. Having seen through life and death, were they still afraid to die?

“It’s not a true emperor, just an emperor’s body, without the emperor’s spirit,” Qin Guang Wang pondered. “At most, it’s only Ban Di.”

“With five Jidao Diji plus the Dacheng Shengti Benyuan blood, Ye Chen might not lose,” Chu Jiang Wang said, taking a deep breath.

“We still have some fighting power, but the Tong Ming time limit is nearly up,” Song Di Wang added, glancing at the sky.

“You going over there won’t help and might just distract him.”

On their side, Mingjue, Bai Zhi, and Qing Luan worked together to restrain Chu Ling. They had to keep her safe—no slip-ups allowed.

“Ye Chen, you have to win.”

Tears streamed down Chu Ling’s face. She was truly afraid, terrified that Ye Chen would die in battle against the heavens.

As they spoke, the Tianmo Di Qu stood in the void, stiffly turning its neck to look at Ye Chen. Its hollow emperor eyes flickered with a hint of light, repulsed by Ye Chen’s Qi and blood.

It was a corpse, sealed in a coffin for countless ages, now undergoing corpse transformation and developing some intelligence, evolving toward a zombie—and a Da Dadi-level one at that.

Ye Chen remained silent, staring intently. He should be grateful—it was just an emperor’s body, not a complete emperor.

He was also glad he had attacked early. If the Di Qu completed its corpse transformation and summoned the Tianmo Domain army, it would be a catastrophe beyond measure.

“Attack for me!”

The shout came from an elder of a major sect, raising his killing sword and pointing it at the Tianmo Di Qu.

In an instant, tens of thousands of killing arrays unleashed their divine light.

Their aim was precise; every beam struck the Di Qu without missing, engulfing it completely.

Yet, when the smoke cleared, the Di Qu still stood silently, unmoved. The so-called killing arrays were utterly useless.

As Ye Chen had said, only Diji could break the Di Qu.

Besides Diji, only his Huanggu Shengti could do it.

Unless one had the heaven-defying power of Jiu Huang and the Divine Generals, no amount of killing arrays could pierce the Di Qu’s defenses.

The Di Qu was enraged, its eyes flashing with light as it struck out with a palm toward Ye Chen, causing the vast sky to collapse under the force.

Ye Chen showed no fear, charging upward against the heavens. Gripping a Jidao Dijian, he executed a sword strike like a divine wind, piercing the emperor’s palm print. Then, he ascended further, slashing down from the air, his sword light brilliant as a celestial river.

The Tianmo Di Qu countered with another palm, erasing the radiant celestial river.

In a flash, Ye Chen closed in, slashing at the Di Qu’s head.

The Di Qu neither dodged nor evaded, allowing Ye Chen to carve a bloody gash on its skull. No blood sprayed out, and the wound healed instantly.

In return, Ye Chen took a finger strike from the Di Qu, piercing a hole in his chest, with emperor Dao principles lingering around it.

Fortunately, it was just an emperor’s body and wouldn’t use secret techniques. If it were a complete Da Dadi, that single finger would have destroyed him.

The void trembled as the Di Qu advanced again, still employing no divine abilities. Its Zhetian palm descended with world-ending force.

Ye Chen knew he couldn’t dodge it. He struck back with a single sword, targeting a weak point and piercing the palm print, followed by a fist and sword assault.

The Di Qu was extremely domineering, neither dodging nor defending, enduring Ye Chen’s attacks while retaliating with a blow that severely wounded him.

“A one-on-one fight!”

After a brief clash, Ye Chen bellowed.

He then turned and fled, using Taixu Duntian to dash toward the remote borderlands, avoiding harm to the innocent.

The Di Qu pursued, each step treading on the river of time, its speed defying all laws and utterly overwhelming Ye Chen’s.

Ye Chen fought while retreating, luring the Di Qu away from populated areas.

The world was no longer at peace. Ye Chen moved like immortal light, the Di Qu like divine radiance, and everywhere they passed, mountains crumbled.

“Notify your families to activate the protective mountain barriers!” The various elders shouted hoarsely, all rushing to assist Ye Chen.

Especially the older generations whose lifespans were ending—they faced death without fear.

This time, they had no intention of returning. Even if they couldn’t defeat the Tianmo Di Qu, they would contribute their strength and fight with their lives.

The Ten Halls of Yanluo and the Mingjie experts did not follow, as their Tong Ming time limit had expired, and their bodies were turning to ash.

Back in Mingjie, the Ten Halls of Yanluo wasted no time, heading straight to Jie Ming Mountain, where Di Huang and Ming Di were already present.

In the air hung a water curtain displaying the Lingyu scene—Ye Chen was still fleeing, and the Di Qu was still in pursuit.

“Ming Di, how could there be a Da Dadi in Lingyu? Has Tianmo ever invaded Lingyu before?” Qin Guang Wang asked Ming Di in confusion.

“It must have been there before Renjie collapsed. When Renjie split apart, it was incorporated into Lingyu,” Ming Di replied calmly.

“Thankfully, it was discovered early. Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.” The Ten Halls of Yanluo sighed deeply, envisioning the scene if the Di Qu fully transformed—Renjie would likely be obliterated.

“I’ve underestimated Ye Chen. Even as a Ban Di, it’s no match for him,” Ming Di smiled, his emperor eyes full of pride.

The Ten Halls of Yanluo nodded in agreement, then turned their gaze to Di Huang.

The Shengti lineage—every one of them was extraordinarily powerful.

This one before them had once single-handedly battled five emperors, trapping them at the universe’s edge, embarrassing all the emperors of the world.

Yet, unexpectedly, Ye Chen was even more monstrous than Di Huang.

Not yet a Dacheng Shengti, he had already slain two emperors in his lifetime, and perhaps a third after today. This record even surpassed Di Huang’s.

Di Huang said nothing, only watching Ye Chen, feeling a vague sense of guilt.

This junior of the Shengti lineage bore too heavy a burden. Before he reached the Zhutian, there were likely more bloody battles awaiting Ye Chen.

The Shengti lineage was a fierce one, destined to tread a path of blood and bones.
