Chapter 1583: Awesome Forbidden Zone

With a deafening boom, the Tian Ting barrier collapsed.

Under the Ji Dao Di Wei, the tens of thousands of immortal mountains in Tian Ting were instantly reduced to flat ground, everything turned to ash.

Thick smoke enveloped the ruins of the Tian Ting immortal mountains.

"Surround the four sides." The four emperors of the Si Zu all roared in anger.

As soon as the words were spoken, the armies of the four clans formed their ranks, blocking off the east, west, and north, determined to wipe out everyone.

"Kill, kill, kill." Feng Xian laughed ferociously, excited to the point of madness, her peerless beauty now resembling that of a demon.

"From now on, it's just a one-sided slaughter." Si Fang sighed, with fifty million people lying in piles of corpses and seas of blood.

However, as the smoke slowly dissipated, only the ruins of Tian Ting remained, with no sign of a single person, not even a drop of blood.

"What's going on?" People from all sides activated their Tong Tian eyes to scan the area. "How is there no one in sight?"

"Most likely, they were reduced to ash under the Ji Dao Di Wei."

"They must have fled into Tian Xu." The Yao Zu ancestor snorted coldly, fixing his gaze on Tian Xu. As a Zhun Di, he could see it most clearly.

As soon as he spoke, everyone's eyes turned toward Tian Xu. "No wonder—they had a backup plan after all."

"Friends of Tian Xu, this is a grudge between the four clans and Tian Ting. Will you let them out, or will we attack?"

The Shen Zu ancestor spoke lightly, his words echoing through the nine heavens, carrying supreme authority.

"You Shen Zu great emperor wouldn't dare act so recklessly—what makes you think you can?" Tian Zhu snorted coldly, full of defiance.

"Good, very good." The Shen Zu ancestor's face turned red with fury, his clan disrespected and enraged.

"No more nonsense—let's charge in together." The Mo Zu ancestor held the Mo Tian pearl aloft, the Feng Huang Zu ancestor wielded the Feng Huang mirror, the Yao Zu ancestor controlled the Zhen Tian hu, and the Shen Zu ancestor grasped the Tian Shen sword. The four of them advanced side by side into Tian Xu.

"Heavens! They actually charged into the forbidden zone." Onlookers from all sides exclaimed in shock, their hearts pounding and faces paling.

The scene was incredibly shocking. How many years had it been? Ever since the Dong Hua Seven Sons attacked the forbidden zone, it had been five thousand years.

Now, after five thousand years, someone had once again invaded the Tian Xu forbidden zone.

"Four Zhun Di and four Ji Dao Di weapons—surely Tian Xu must be afraid!" An old-timer's eyes gleamed as he stared intently.

But to everyone's astonishment, the four clan ancestors who had just rushed in were flung out the next instant, covered in fresh blood and in a wretched state.

"This..." People from all sides were stunned, their expressions frozen.

They saw clearly that the four clan ancestors had been swept out by a crystalline jade hand, along with their four Di weapons, all sent flying with dimmed imperial light.

"Whose jade hand is that? A hand of destruction?"

"Four Zhun Di and four Di weapons, defeated in a single move."

"Is there a great emperor in Tian Xu?" The speaker's voice trembled as they instinctively stepped back.

"Did you see it clearly?" Long Yi asked slowly.

"I don't know if there's a great emperor, but there are at least twenty Ji Dao Di weapons." Long Wu said in shock.

"Whose hand was that? It appeared out of nowhere, from who knows where." The Tian Ting cultivators all gazed up at the void.

"A great emperor?" Ruo Tian Zhu Que murmured softly.

"No wonder even great emperors are wary." Although Ye Chen's eyes were blind, he still looked up, his heart of piecing mirrors shaken.

Outside, the four clan ancestors who had been flung out steadied themselves.

Each of them crashed into a section of the void sky, and before they could say a word, they all spat out blood together.

Their eyes bulged with shock. "How is this possible? Where did that great emperor aura come from?"

"If you're not convinced, come again." Tian Zhu's words were ice-cold and authoritative, resounding through the heavens and earth.

The four were overcome with rage, spitting blood once more, but they dared not act recklessly. They calmed their minds and cleared their thoughts.

In their divine seas, their clan's imperial teachings echoed: Do not enter the Tian Xu forbidden zone unless you reach the emperor realm.

"Is there really a great emperor in the forbidden zone?" The Shen Zu ancestor's hand trembled on his sword, his heart unsettled.

"The emperor has fallen for nine thousand years—where would a great emperor come from?" The Mo Zu ancestor snorted coldly. "I don't believe there's an emperor."

"It's not an emperor, at most it's just an overwhelmingly powerful emperor path prohibition." The Yao Zu ancestor narrowed his old eyes.

"Shall we continue the attack?" The Feng Huang Zu ancestor looked at the other three.

"Block the entrance here—I want to see how long Tian Xu can protect Tian Ting." The three spoke with voices as cold as bone.

The four sat down cross-legged, each with a Ji Dao Di weapon hovering above their heads.

Although the four clans' armies were shocked, they still set up their formations, nearly twenty million strong, blocking the entrance to Tian Xu.

Cultivators from all sides did not leave, watching from the outskirts.

"Why is Tian Xu so powerful but not coming out to deal with the four clans?" Someone asked in confusion, looking at the old cultivator beside them.

"Clearly, the people of Tian Xu cannot leave the forbidden zone." The elder cultivator stroked his beard and replied.

"The people of Tian Ting probably can't stay in Tian Xu for long either. Retreating there was just a desperate measure."

"The four clans have figured this out, which is why they're blocking the way." Someone pondered, seeming to grasp the situation.

"If I could get out, I'd kick them one by one." In Tian Xu, Di Mie grumbled.

"It's a good thing Tian Wang isn't here, or today would be even more chaotic." Tian Zhu puffed on his pipe.

"Thank you, two seniors." Ye Chen bowed with his hands clasped.

"You need to understand that Tian Xu can't protect you forever." Di Mie pulled out a wine flask and took a leisurely sip.

"When the day comes that we drive you out, don't blame Tian Xu for being heartless." Tian Zhu tapped his pipe. "We also hope you can understand— we have our own constraints."

"This junior understands." Ye Chen bowed again and turned to leave, his body surging with rampant death energy.

"I can already sense that he's going to do something foolish." Watching Ye Chen's departing figure, Di Mie said quietly.

"He's a man on the brink of death anyway—what's foolish about it? It's just heading to the end a bit early." Tian Zhu sighed.

The Tian Ting cultivators sat in meditation, most sharpening their weapons. If they couldn't hold out until Da Chu's return, Tian Ting would charge out together, just like in the past, dying on the battlefield.

Nine days seemed long yet short; no one dared to close their eyes, for these nine days might be their last.

"At least get a look at our homeland! It's been so long since we've been home." Situ Nan and his group gathered, gazing at the stars, their three-hundred-year hope now a luxury.

This was the case throughout Tian Ting—many had teary eyes.

Ye Chen was unusually silent, sitting quietly under a stone, one hand holding a carving knife and the other a piece of wood.

A gentle breeze stirred his snow-white hair and beard, but it couldn't disperse the surging death energy around him.

The women sat around him, most resting their chins in their hands as they watched him, their beautiful eyes misty and filled with infatuation.

Having died once, there was nothing left to fear—only regrets, like not being able to dress him in a groom's attire.

Tian Xu was not peaceful; the scent of wine filled the air, and laughter echoed endlessly. Everyone was taking it in stride, drinking heartily.

Seniors and juniors, all over three hundred years old, mingled together, sharing stories of the past and recalling glorious days.

Tian Zhu and Di Mie watched, clearly sensing a deep sadness—for the world and for the passage of time.

Once, they had built a bloody Great Wall for the myriad domains with their lives.

Now, they were like dogs, blocked in the forbidden zone by so-called mortals, who wanted to exterminate them completely.

In their final moments, they couldn't even glimpse their homeland.

Such desolation brought tears to the eyes, understood by no one.

Outside Tian Xu, the four clans' armies were arrayed, covering the ground and sealing the entrance tightly. Anyone daring to step out would be obliterated in an instant.

During this time, no major clans were unsealed—whether enemies or allies, some rejoiced while others worried.

Sunrise and sunset, day and night cycled, time slipping away quietly.

Until the ninth day arrived, Ye Chen, who had been quietly carving, finally set down his bamboo knife and shakily stood up.

The women rose as well, and the Tian Ting cultivators followed suit.

Ye Chen smiled, a smile carrying ancient weariness.

The Tian Ting cultivators frowned, unsure what this smile from their holy lord signified, but feeling an inexplicable premonition: their holy lord was about to do something.

"Two seniors, I'm counting on you." Ye Chen turned his head, looking deep into Tian Xu, toward Tian Zhu and Di Mie.
