Chapter 1444: Shout, Then Shout Again

The ruins were bustling with excitement, all thanks to the Sheng Ti being alive. This drew forces from every direction, creating quite a spectacle.

In the Xu Tian above, the Hei Yi Sheng Wang was still fleeing desperately, with Ye Chen in relentless pursuit, unleashing devastating attacks the entire way. Perhaps due to the sheer intensity of the momentum, the mountains below collapsed one after another.

The Hei Yi Sheng Wang's combat prowess was nothing special, but his escape skills were top-notch. He ran incredibly fast, and his mouth was as foul as could be, shouting loudly the entire time and pointing out the direction for others.

Ye Chen was grinding his teeth in fury. He had underestimated the Hei Yi Sheng Wang, thinking a single Thunder Arrow would finish him off. But to his surprise, the guy hadn't died; not only was he alive and kicking, but he had also blurted out Ye Chen's secrets.

Ye Chen could imagine the endless trouble that would follow. Once he left the ruins, he might be jointly wanted by various sects, making his search for someone even more difficult.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Even if he had to leave, he wanted to take down the Hei Yi Sheng Wang first.

Sensing his intent, the Hei Yi Sheng Wang dared not slack off and burned even more Yuan Shen power, increasing his speed instead of slowing down. His evasion techniques were so elusive that even the Xue Pao Zhun Di couldn't catch up.

Truth be told, his escape abilities were still a notch below Ye Chen's, but the problem was that Ye Chen wasn't at his peak right now, limiting his speed. Otherwise, the Hei Yi Sheng Wang would have been caught and kicked to death long ago.

Ahead, figures swarmed in, each radiating immortal light that illuminated the night. The first wave had arrived, some riding flying swords, others soaring on clouds, covering the sky like a tidal wave.

Especially Ye Chen's enemies, who had drawn their swords and charged forward, their eyes bloodshot and their killing intent soaring. They didn't know how Ye Chen was still alive, but today, they absolutely couldn't let him escape again.

"Over here, the Sheng Ti is here."

"Shout, let you shout again." Ye Chen roared in anger, burning his Qi and blood, crossing a thousand zhang of Xu Tian in a single step, closing the distance to the Hei Yi Sheng Wang to just a hundred zhang, and firing another Thunder Arrow.

This time, the Hei Yi Sheng Wang was done for. He hadn't even finished his shout before the arrow obliterated his Yuan Shen. After all his schemes, he still couldn't escape his doomed fate.

After slaying the Hei Yi Sheng Wang, Ye Chen didn't hesitate and turned to flee, only to run straight into an acquaintance.

It was the princess of the Feng Huang clan, Feng Xian Er, who had also come to the ruins. Ye Chen had known she was there and wanted to settle old scores, but he hadn't found her until now.

"Where do you think you're going?" Feng Xian Er gritted her teeth, her eyes full of resentment, and struck with a crystalline palm from across the sky. Her combat power had grown significantly compared to three years ago, perhaps due to undergoing a Nirvana.

"Get lost." Ye Chen thundered, throwing a punch that shattered the Xu Tian and pierced through her palm print. Though she had undergone Nirvana and her power had surged, and though he was gravely injured and not at his peak, there was still a gap between them. In a direct clash, she was utterly defeated and sent flying backward.

After repelling Feng Xian Er, Ye Chen didn't linger in battle and charged straight for the ruins' exit. Once out, his Xian Yan wouldn't be suppressed, and he could use the Xian Lun Tian Dao to escape.

Shadows surrounded him from all sides, each group including his enemies, and their numbers were substantial.

He spotted a direction with fewer people and weaker foes—it was the best way to break through.

"Join forces and kill him!" A silver-haired youth shouted angrily, leading the charge with a dazzling divine mirror hovering above his head, a Sheng Wang level weapon with formidable power. From a distance, it swept out waves of annihilating immortal light.

Like him, those behind didn't hold back, deploying magical tools, killing formations, divine abilities, or forbidden techniques, blanketing the sky and turning the night into a dazzling display, shaking the heavens and earth.

Ye Chen charged forward, activating his Chaos Phenomenon, using the Chaos World Phenomenon as his defense.

With a boom, the various attacks slammed into the Chaos World, leaving it in ruins, and Ye Chen suffered backlash, spitting blood on the spot as his injuries worsened.

But that brief moment gave him a chance to breathe. He stepped on the Golden Deep Sea, devouring a group of people, swung the Chi Xiao sword in his hand to slash another group away, used his right hand's Ba Long to sweep across the Xu Tian, and suspended the Chaos God Cauldron above his head, unleashing its divine might to clear out a section. Those who rushed at him were scattered in disarray.

Blood stained the starry sky as that group failed to stop Ye Chen, who broke through forcefully.

Enemies from all directions roared in anger, converging and giving chase, like a thundering army.

Ye Chen glanced back briefly, smirking. The number of pursuers was beyond what he imagined.

*Are all these my enemies? Where did I get so many foes?*

Though he cursed internally, his speed didn't slack. He popped pills frantically, with his Xian Lun spinning rapidly, his injuries recovering and his speed climbing.

The tide of figures was left far behind, none able to keep up.

But his pursuers were persistent. As Ye Chen fled for his life, they chased desperately, attempting several encirclements, only to be broken through by him each time, with heavy casualties.

By dawn, the chase was still on. Ye Chen had looped around extensively, heading toward the exit.

From afar, he saw a sea of people gathered at the ruins' entrance. They weren't there to chat—they were waiting for him, determined not to let him escape the ruins.

This was like guarding a tree to catch a rabbit. Hiding in the ruins might evade pursuit, but getting out was impossible.

Ye Chen was out of options. Reaching the exit only to find it blocked, he pulled off a flashy drift and changed direction, charging back into the ruins and breaking out of the encirclement before they could close in.

It wasn't until much later that the ruins fell quiet, as the pursuers lost sight of Ye Chen.

"Search!" Ye Chen's enemies bellowed, forming groups of three or five, abandoning their treasure hunts for a thorough sweep, vowing not to stop until they found him.

As night fell again, in a remote mountain range, Ye Chen limped into a cave and slumped down, stuffing handfuls of healing pills into his mouth.

After a day and night of pursuit, he had evaded them, but he was once again left battered and broken. Aside from his Huang Gu Sheng Ti, not a single part of him was unscathed—it was all covered in blood.

"All of you, just wait." Ye Chen muttered darkly, already planning to settle scores once he recovered to his peak. If they didn't want him to leave, then he wouldn't leave.

"Is the Sheng Ti lineage full of cowards who hide their heads?" As he healed, a mocking laugh echoed from outside the cave, followed by a massive seal crashing down from the sky, collapsing the mountain.

Amid the flying debris, Ye Chen teleported out, only to be met by a beam of annihilating immortal light hurtling toward him.

In a flash, he summoned a shield to block it. The light's power was immense, sending the shield flying and injuring him, forcing him to grunt and stagger back over ten zhang.

Only then did he see his attacker—a figure in black robes, using secret techniques to conceal their true form. But under the Six Dao Xian Yan, their identity was revealed: the Shen Zi of the Xian clan.

"It's him." Ye Chen narrowed his eyes, confirming that the person opposite was indeed the Xian clan's Shen Zi.

"Ye Chen, you've surprised me greatly." The Xian clan's Shen Zi chuckled sinisterly, standing high in the Xu Tian, looking down on Ye Chen with a mocking and amused expression, his words lingering in the air.

"We have no grudge, right?" Ye Chen sneered. "So, you're here to kick me while I'm down?"

"I'm not interested in you. The blame lies in you taking something from my Xian clan that you shouldn't have." The Xian clan's Shen Zi laughed. "The supreme treasure of the Six Dao Xian Lun Yan—how could something like that be touched by you?"

"What Six Dao Xian Lun Yan? I have no idea." Ye Chen shrugged, refusing to admit it.

"I know." No sooner had he spoken than another black-robed figure appeared—it was a woman, stunningly beautiful. Upon closer inspection, it was Feng Xian Er of the Feng Huang clan.
