Chapter 1433: Cultivation and Harvest

"Who?" Ye Chen shouted again, gripping the Chi Xiao sword and scanning the surrounding heavens.

However, he still saw no one and could not trace the source of the elusive voice. That sound was infused with demonic power, making it impossible to resist, and it caused illusions to appear in his mind.

After three to five seconds, the voice finally faded, but the Xiao Mo Ding continued to hum and tremble, as if it had been summoned and longed to break through its seals to reach some unknown realm.

Ye Chen did not lower his guard. He did not know what connection the Xiao Mo Ding had with this ancient ruins or what shocking secrets it hid. He needed to investigate and uncover this mystery.

Before that, he could not unseal the five Xiao Mo Dings, as they were behaving too abnormally. This was an ancient ruins full of dangers, and he could not afford even the slightest carelessness.

As he pondered this, he took another step forward, heading deeper into the ruins to explore further.

But at that moment, the void sky suddenly trembled violently, followed by a thunderous rumble.

Ye Chen instinctively looked up, gazing into the distance, where a brilliant immortal light streaked across the sky.

Upon closer inspection, he saw that the immortal light was actually a golden copper furnace, radiating golden immortal energy throughout its body. Strands of energy intertwined and danced, each one as heavy as a mountain.

The Huang Jin Tong Lu was extraordinary, exuding immense pressure as a genuine Da Sheng Bing. It crushed the void space along its path, and even though it was far away, the surrounding heavens were affected.

As it was a Da Sheng Bing treasure, it naturally attracted pursuers, and not just one, but three.

These three individuals were all acquaintances of Ye Chen. Even though they were cloaked in black robes, his immortal eyes could see through them clearly. They were none other than Tian Fa Shen Zi, Cang Ling Shen Zi, and Yu Hua Shen Zi.

The Huang Jin Tong Lu moved swiftly, and the three pursuers were no slouches either, following closely and repeatedly using great divine abilities to try to seal it. However, it broke free each time.

"What perfect timing," Ye Chen sneered, concealing himself in the void space, waiting for the three to pass by so he could unleash a thunderous kill. Since they were his enemies, he would not hold back.

He had barely hidden himself when the Huang Jin Tong Lu arrived, indeed as heavy as a mountain peak, causing the valley to collapse. Even Ye Chen nearly got forced out.

As the Huang Jin Tong Lu arrived, so did Tian Fa Shen Zi and the other two. Their coordination was impeccable as they jointly deployed a heavenly net, sealing the four directions and trapping the copper furnace in the void sky.

The Huang Jin Tong Lu buzzed and burst with immortal light, but it was merely a tool without a master to control it. It could not withstand the three fearsome Zhun Sheng, and though it tried to escape, it failed.

"It's mine," Tian Fa Shen Zi said, his eyes burning with greed as he eagerly reached out to grab the Huang Jin Tong Lu, determined to seize it first.

"It's mine," Yu Hua Shen Zi chuckled sinisterly, slicing off Tian Fa Shen Zi's arm with a sword before extending his own hand to claim the Huang Jin Tong Lu and flee.

"Do you take me for nothing?" Cang Ling Shen Zi sneered darkly, unleashing a Cang Ling Immortal Technique with a finger strike that pierced a bloody hole in Yu Hua Shen Zi's body, sending blood spraying.

"Damn it," Tian Fa Shen Zi and Yu Hua Shen Zi roared in anger, immediately forming ancient secret techniques with their hands.

The brawl erupted in an instant. The Huang Jin Tong Lu remained sealed in the void sky, while the three Shen Zi fought fiercely, each desperate to claim the Da Sheng level artifact for themselves and unleashing devastating attacks.

The void sky descended into chaos. Their battle caused thunderous booms, with beams of destructive light raining down—all lethal techniques that ravaged the heavens and earth, turning everything into a bloody wasteland.

Hidden in the void space, Ye Chen could not help but sigh in admiration at the spectacle.

Just moments ago, the three had been allies, working together to seal the Huang Jin Tong Lu. Now, they were locked in a deadly struggle over the treasure, a perfect irony.

With that thought, he raised his hand and drew the sealed Huang Jin Tong Lu into his storage bag.

"Hmm?" The three Shen Zi, still fighting, halted abruptly, unaware that a fourth person had been lurking here, reaping the benefits while they battled.

In a split second, a golden hand materialized out of nowhere and swept down like a mountain collapsing.

The three were instantly drenched in blood, plummeting from the sky and crashing into the valley, creating three deep craters. Before they could steady themselves, they were struck by the descending Chaos God Cauldron, causing their bodies to explode.

"Damn it," the three howled, their killing intent soaring as they tried to force out the hidden attacker. But they were too late, as the Ninefold Tai Xu Long Jin sealed the heavens and suppressed them with overwhelming force.

"Who are you?" the three demanded, their eyes bloodshot and veins bulging, like mad dogs. As proud Shen Zi of great sects, they could not bear this humiliation.

Ye Chen chuckled and slowly emerged from the void space. His Gui Ming Face Mask dissipated, and he regarded the three Shen Zi with interest. "I wonder if you three still remember me."

"You... Ye Chen," they exclaimed upon seeing his true face, their pupils dilating visibly and shrinking to pinpoints in sheer terror. They stared in disbelief—it was the Saint Body, and they would not mistake it.

"Miss me?" Ye Chen smiled, pausing briefly to reveal his white teeth.

"Impossible, this is impossible," they roared. "You're dead. You clearly died three years ago. I saw you turn to ash with my own eyes."

"The problem is, I'm still alive," Ye Chen replied, raising the Chi Xiao killing sword. His smile vanished, and his deep, star-like eyes held no pity—only cold killing intent.

"No, no, no, you can't kill us. We're Shen Zi," they pleaded, truly sensing the aura of death. Their bodies turned ice-cold, as if half-submerged in the Jiu You.

Perhaps only now did they truly understand regret—regretting entering this ancient ruins and provoking the killing god Ye Chen, leading to their tragic end.

The sword fell, extinguishing their yuan shen. The three great Shen Zi met a swift and final death.

Ye Chen incinerated their bodies and collected their storage bags. He then donned the Gui Ming Face Mask again, used the Zhou Tian secret technique to conceal his aura, glanced around, and vanished in an instant.

After he left, several groups of people arrived one after another, surveying the area. It was easy to deduce that a major battle had taken out here, but such occurrences were commonplace in the ruins.

In another quiet valley, Ye Chen pulled out the storage bags and began tallying his spoils.

The haul far exceeded his expectations. Aside from other items, there were ninety million yuan shi alone, along with numerous secret scrolls, pills, artifacts, and immortal stones.

This made Ye Chen's eyes dart around eagerly. Robbing was far more straightforward than treasure hunting—the spoils came quicker than buying them at auctions.

"As the old saying goes, you reap what you sow," he remarked meaningfully. With so many Shen Zi and Shen Nu in the ruins, all loaded with wealth, why bother searching for treasures? Just rob them and distribute the goods to the reincarnated ones—it was a solid plan.

With that, he casually pulled an iron rod from his storage bag and disappeared in a flash.

Soon, thunderous booms echoed from nearby, and a mountain collapsed amid screams.

When the treasure seekers arrived to check, the scene was a mess. Two people lay dazed on the ground, sprawled out like the character "大"—one a junior and the other a Sheng Wang. The common factor was that all their treasures, even their ornaments, had been stripped clean.

This was naturally Ye Chen's handiwork. He had professional ethics: though he robbed them, he spared their lives. With no grudges, he saw no need to be ruthless.

In the days that followed, thanks to this shameless fellow, the ancient ruins became extraordinarily lively.

Screams rang out incessantly as many who entered the ruins to seek treasures were robbed by him. They had no idea what hit them until they woke up to find their belongings gone.
