Chapter 1225: A Large Area

Late at night, Ye Chen finally lowered his hand.

Su Xiner remained seated cross-legged, bathed in moonlight, looking pure and radiant.

Ye Chen ascended the mountain peak and took out two scrolls: one of Chu Xuan and one of Hong Chen. Under the starlight, both scrolls exuded a mysterious aura that he couldn't decipher.

After some time, he put away the scrolls and retrieved a mirror from his storage bag, quietly gazing at his own face.

Strangely, the mirror reflected nothing of him, as if he were a non-existent being.

Ye Chen smiled, his laughter tinged with a hint of melancholy. No one knew what that smile signified, and even fewer understood why the mirror showed no image of him. The mysterious answer, perhaps, was known only to him—and the more he knew, the more his heart trembled.

A gentle breeze blew, turning the mirror in his hand to ashes, carried away into the night.

Beneath the starry sky, his silhouette appeared somewhat desolate. The wind seemed unaware, persistently tousling his black hair and brushing against his face, yet it could never conceal the ancient weariness within him.

His eyes grew dimmer, his smile laced with even deeper sorrow, as he stood like a statue.

Below, Su Xiner awoke and quietly made her way to the mountaintop, wanting to speak but ultimately saying nothing.

She lightly bit her lip, then moved behind Ye Chen and gently massaged his shoulders, like a dutiful maidservant easing her young master's fatigue.

As the night deepened, Ye Chen's eyes fluttered, as if truly exhausted, and he gently leaned his head on Su Xiner's lap.

Su Xiner smiled softly, continuously stroking his black hair and caressing his face.

The night passed without a word, and dawn arrived in the blink of an eye.

In the early morning, warm sunlight bathed the earth, draping the immortal mountains in a layer of splendid radiance.

In his sleep, sensing a woman's fragrance drifting toward him, Ye Chen instinctively opened his eyes.

He quickly stood up, awkwardly wiping the drool still at the corner of his mouth.

Glancing at Su Xiner, he saw that a large patch of her skirt was wet, soaked by his drool. If she hadn't seen it herself, she wouldn't have believed that the mighty Tian Ting Sheng Zhu could drool in his sleep.

What an accident!

Ye Chen gave a dry laugh and hurriedly turned away, descending the mountain in a few steps.

Su Xiner smiled to herself and followed suit.

In the grand hall of the Murong family, people bustled about. The family patriarch, Sheng Zhu, and elders—all the high-ranking members—were present, dressed formally and ready to welcome the Sheng Wang's arrival.

Ye Chen entered, followed by Su Xiner.

Huh?

The sharp-eyed Man Man and the others let out a soft exclamation.

This...!

They glanced at Ye Chen, then focused on Su Xiner, their eyes unanimously drawn to the large wet patch on her lower body, which was quite noticeable.

Su Xiner quickly pulled out a white robe to cover herself.

Man Man and the others exchanged strange looks, then turned back to Ye Chen, their eyes seeming to ask: Did you sleep with my aunt?

Seeing the odd expressions around him, Ye Chen couldn't help but twitch his mouth.

The atmosphere in the hall grew peculiar, with the Murong family elders all staring at Ye Chen—one stroking his chin, another twirling his beard—as if he were some curiosity.

"Don't make a fuss!" Ye Chen cleared his throat, feeling as awkward as Su Xiner.

"He's here! He's here!" The silence in the hall was broken by a voice from outside. Man Xiong's burly figure dashed in like a streak of light.

Behind him, a towering figure slowly emerged—massive and unyielding as a mountain, with bare arms and feet, his body enveloped in thunderous energy. His muscles bulged like coiling dragons, full of explosive power, and his eyes, like massive copper bells, gleamed with brilliant divine light.

Is that the Sheng Wang?

The Murong family experts all looked up in unison, for the Sheng Wang of the Man people was extraordinarily tall.

"Sheng Wang!" Everyone present took a deep breath and hurriedly went forward to greet him, their eyes filled with reverence. Facing the Sheng Wang of the Man people was like standing before a colossal mountain; even his breath felt overwhelmingly heavy.

"We have seen you, senior!" The entire Murong family, from the patriarch to the Sheng Zhu and elders, bowed respectfully at that moment.

The Sheng Wang of the Man people chuckled, his enormous eyes scanning the room. After looking around, he turned to Man Xiong and asked, "Which one is my daughter-in-law?"

"This one, this one." Man Xiong grinned and pulled Man Man to his side. "This little girl, isn't she pretty?"

"Man Man greets you, senior." Man Man was exceptionally reserved today, especially in the presence of a Sheng Wang.

"Just call me father." The Sheng Wang of the Man people flashed a set of white teeth, growing fonder of her with every glance. As he looked, he took out a dazzling divine pearl and placed it in Man Man's brow—a remarkable artifact specifically for protecting the Yuan Shen. The sight left the Murong family members astonished.

"The Sheng Wang's generosity is truly impressive," Ye Chen remarked with a sigh, recognizing the pearl's extraordinary nature.

"Aren't you going to thank your father?" Man Xiong said with a smirk.

"Thank you, father." Man Man was even more flustered, her mind spinning. She never imagined that on their first meeting, a Sheng Wang would gift her such a precious treasure, making it feel almost unreal.

"I must say, you're quite fast on your feet!" Ye Chen nudged Man Xiong.

"What do you mean, fast? It's the thousand-mile sound transmission." Man Xiong smoothed his hair. "I checked—it'll take at least half a day for Ji Yang Zong to get here from their location. Let's just wait here like hunters by a tree."

"Looks like we'll get some treasures out of this." Ye Chen rubbed his hands together.

"So, should I call you aunt or sister?" Man Xiong turned to Su Xiner.

"Well..." Man Xiong's question left Su Xiner momentarily stunned.

"What sister? Call her aunt!" Man Man stomped on Man Xiong's foot and shot him a glare. "Show some respect."

"Fine, fine, aunt it is."

"Great, now our seniority's dropped a level." Ye Chen's expression turned a bit odd.

"Sheng Wang senior, please." While they spoke, the Murong family experts had already invited the Sheng Wang of the Man people to the feast.

It was worth noting that even seated cross-legged, the Sheng Wang towered over everyone else. He didn't use chopsticks for his meal, grabbing food with his hands instead. As for the wine cups, he skipped them entirely, drinking straight from the jars—one after another, without pause.

Most importantly, his appetite was enormous; the feast prepared by the Murong family wasn't even enough to satisfy him.

The Murong family members watched in a daze but didn't hesitate to bring out more tables of food once one was finished.

"I'm full!" After several rounds of drinks, the Sheng Wang patted his belly and pulled out his massive wolf-tooth club, continuously nourishing it with a purple liquid.

Long Xue!

Ye Chen narrowed his eyes slightly, identifying the source of the purple blood.

The Murong family members were shocked by the Sheng Wang's wolf-tooth club—it was a ferocious weapon. If it struck, even a Sheng Ren might not withstand it, let alone them.

Boom!

As they watched, a thunderous rumble echoed from the distant horizon.

Hearing the sound, everyone stood up and saw clouds churning in the distance, as if thousands of troops were charging, crushing the sky.

The Ji Yang Zong forces had arrived, their formation vast and overwhelming, with figures blanketing the sky.

In an instant, the Ji Yang Zong experts descended, blocking out the sun and surrounding the Murong family completely, like an endless ocean poised to engulf the immortal mountains.

Bang!

With a tremor in the void, a Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren stepped forward, his cold shout like ancient thunder: "Murong family, you have quite the nerve—daring to kill my Ji Yang Zong people."

"They deserved to die." The Murong family Zhun Sheng replied calmly, unfazed by the Sheng Ren's pressure. With a Sheng Wang present, what did they have to fear?

"Good, very good." The Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren laughed in anger.

"Attack!" Another Sheng Ren suddenly raised his sword, his command shaking heaven and earth.

"Attack!" The Ji Yang Zong experts surged forward en masse, unleashing killing arrays, powerful divine abilities, and deadly artifacts all at once, covering the entire immortal mountains like a tidal wave.

However, at that very moment, a colossal wolf-tooth club, thousands of feet long, suddenly appeared, sweeping across the void. The Ji Yang Zong experts who had just charged were instantly obliterated—royals and Zhun Sheng alike met the same fate, their blood mist staining the sky in an instant.

This...!

The Ji Yang Zong experts' expressions changed drastically as they stared in shock toward the front of the Murong family immortal mountains.

There, the Sheng Wang of the Man people had already stepped out, each of his strides making the void quake violently.

The three Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren narrowed their eyes, fixing their gaze on him: "The Murong family has a Sheng Ren?"

In contrast, the Murong family experts were exhilarated. This was the real Sheng Wang—a colossal deity whose power no one present could challenge.

Man Xiong also flew out from the immortal mountains, rushing to the Sheng Wang's side, and pointed at the opposing Ji Yang Zong forces: "Old man, it's this bunch of brats who beat up your daughter-in-law yesterday."

"Why did they beat my child?" The Sheng Wang of the Man people spoke, his bright eyes locked on the three foremost Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren.

"You crude Man person, don't spout nonsense." One of the Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren snorted coldly.

"Old man, that brat's cursing you." Man Xiong scratched his ear.

"I heard it."

"What Man person are you? Get lost!" Another Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren shouted and suddenly struck with his palm, a massive handprint covering the void, as heavy as a mountain and brimming with immense pressure.

The Sheng Wang of the Man people moved without a word, lifting his wolf-tooth club and swinging it.

Boom!

The void trembled violently. The Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren's handprint shattered instantly, and the Sheng Ren himself was sent flying, his arm exploding into a mist of blood mid-flight.

This...!

The Ji Yang Zong experts were shocked again. They knew the Sheng Wang was strong, but they hadn't expected him to be this powerful.

Is he a Sheng Wang?

The Ji Yang Zong Sheng Ren looked at the Sheng Wang in terror.

That single sentence made the entire Ji Yang Zong force retreat collectively. The ability to send a Sheng Ren flying with one blow proved everything—the Man person opposite them was no mere Sheng Ren, but a true Sheng Wang.
