Chapter 1104: God of Gamblers vs. God of Gamblers

Upon hearing this, Ye Chen quickened his pace and followed Nian Wei all the way down to Jiu Chong Tian.

Today, the second level of You Du was extraordinarily lively, with more than ten times the usual number of people. There were those coming from above and those from below, including people from Ku Yue and the eight great princes, but mostly spectators drawn by the spectacle. This was because a Du Shen had suddenly appeared in You Du, utterly dominating the Mu Family gambling house.

At that moment, the Mu Family gambling house was packed to the brim.

In the center of the first floor, a massive gambling table over a hundred zhang long stood, where Yan Tian Dao Ren sat calmly with his eyes closed, resting. His disciple, Du Chuan, stood behind him with an air of arrogance.

On the table, piles of yuan shi and storage bags filled with yuan shi formed small mountains, totaling nearly ten million pieces—all won from the Mu Family gambling house.

"I've been watching from start to finish," someone marveled with a click of their tongue. "That old man hasn't lost a single hand since he sat down."

"He's the real Du Shen."

"Nearly ten million yuan shi—I've never seen that much money in my life!"

"Overturning heaven and earth—Yan Tian Dao Ren is clearly set on bankrupting the Mu Family gambling house!" Several unassuming elders stroked their beards, as if they knew the secret behind Yan Tian Dao Ren's confidence.

"Open it! Why don't you open it?" Amid the murmurs, Du Chuan shouted brazenly, his eyes full of mockery as he glared at the person shaking the dice across from him—that person was Mu Wan Qing.

Indeed, it was Mu Wan Qing herself who had stepped in, but against someone with Yan Tian Dao Ren's divination abilities, she was no match. No matter how skilled her gambling techniques were, they couldn't escape his predictions.

Hasn't he arrived yet?

Mu Wan Qing furrowed her brows slightly and glanced toward the entrance, her beautiful eyes filled with hope that Ye Chen would arrive soon.

"Open it! Why won't you open it?"

Du Chuan shouted again, his face impatient.

Mu Wan Qing's expression turned icy, but she lifted the dice cup anyway. The numbers and the size matched exactly what Yan Tian Dao Ren had bet on.

"He's hit it again." The gambling house erupted in waves of astonished exclamations, and as the payouts were made, everyone's eyes gleamed with excitement. That wasn't just a few thousand—it was several hundred thousand yuan shi!

"Damn it." On the third floor, an elder from the Mu Family clenched his fists so tightly they cracked.

"Mu Lao, we should close up shop," a gray-haired elder beside him said urgently. "At this rate, the Mu Family gambling house will go bankrupt today. Yan Tian Dao Ren is just too uncanny."

"Wait a little longer," Mu Lao replied, taking a deep breath.

"We can't wait any longer. We—"

"Oh boy, what a lively scene today." The gray-haired elder's words were cut off by a voice from below. Hearing it, Mu Lao's face lit up with joy.

"It's Ye Chen." Below, a wave of excitement rippled through the crowd, and people instinctively cleared a path. Ye Chen strolled in casually, a toothpick dangling from his mouth.

"Is he the Ye Chen who refined a six-pattern dan in half an hour?" someone who had never seen him before asked in surprise.

"That's him—he openly challenged Ling Dan Ge's authority on Wang Tian Ge the other day."

"This is going to be good." Ye Chen's arrival made the spectators' eyes light up with anticipation.

"A few days ago, he beat Du Chuan thirty times in a row. Now, facing Du Chuan's master, I wonder how he'll fare."

"Du Shen against Du Shen! I need to record this." Someone pulled out a memory crystal, ready to capture the gambling scene for future storytelling.

"Take a break, beautiful. I'll handle this." Amid the discussions, Ye Chen had already reached the gambling table and taken the dice cup from Mu Wan Qing.

"How confident are you?" Mu Wan Qing whispered to him. "This old dog is nothing like Du Chuan."

"It doesn't matter who it is." Ye Chen stretched his neck leisurely.

"Then it's all on you." Mu Wan Qing stepped back gracefully, full of faith in him.

After Mu Wan Qing left, Ye Chen glanced around the room with interest.

After scanning the area, Ye Chen fixed his gaze on Yan Tian Dao Ren opposite him. He knew full well that Yan Tian Dao Ren wouldn't dare challenge the Mu Family like this without powerful backing—likely from Ku Yue or one of the eight princes. Regardless, their goal was clear: to ruin the Mu Family and, by extension, the ninth prince.

"I've been waiting for you." Yan Tian Dao Ren slowly opened his eyes, his murky gaze flickering with a subtle light.

"So, waiting to lose your money?" Ye Chen said with a smirk.

"Cut the crap and start gambling." Before Yan Tian Dao Ren could respond, Du Chuan behind him started yelling.

"Idiot." Ye Chen ignored Du Chuan completely, smoothly waving his arm to scoop the three dice into the dice cup. He then shook it rhythmically, the clinking sound crisp and clear.

"You, get me some wine." As he shook, Ye Chen pointed to a attendant from the Mu Family gambling house nearby.

"Wine?" The attendant hesitated for a moment, then quickly pulled out a wine flask and cup from his storage bag, poured a full cup for Ye Chen, and hurried away.

"Good wine." Ye Chen downed the cup in one go, then poured himself another, shaking the dice cup all the while without any intention of setting it down. He drank and shook simultaneously, unfazed.

"What the heck?" The spectators muttered, twitching their mouths. Was this really gambling? Couldn't he take it seriously?

"Figured it out yet?" Ye Chen asked Yan Tian Dao Ren with a playful look, ignoring the chatter. By acting this way—shaking the dice while drinking—he was giving Yan Tian Dao Ren time to divine, and naturally, giving himself time as well.

"You're full of surprises." Yan Tian Dao Ren chuckled faintly and pushed out ten million yuan shi with a wave of his hand.

"Ten million?" The spectators were stunned, and even the elders were shocked. This was an earth-shattering bet!

"Quite the spender." Ye Chen clicked his tongue in amazement and slammed the dice cup onto the table.

"Big or small?" Ye Chen didn't even glance at Yan Tian Dao Ren, just sipped his wine casually.

"Five, five, six—big." Yan Tian Dao Ren said coolly, drawing everyone's attention. The moment of truth for this ten-million-yuan shi gamble had arrived.

"Here we go." Under everyone's watchful eyes, Ye Chen lifted the dice cup, revealing the three gleaming dice.

"This..." Du Chuan's eyes bulged in disbelief as he stared at the numbers. He couldn't believe his master had guessed wrong—for all these years, the man he revered like a god had finally made a mistake.

"How is this possible?" Yan Tian Dao Ren's eyes narrowed into slits; this was nothing like what he had divined.

"Ten million, just like that—lost?" The spectators swallowed hard.

"Now that's the real Du Shen!" Everyone's gazes turned to Ye Chen, as if he were a deity.

"What a remarkable person!" Mu Lao exclaimed in delight from upstairs.

"He's destined to be the Mu Family's benefactor," Mu Wan Qing said with a bright smile, "and Xuan Yu's as well."

"Collect the winnings." Ye Chen casually swept the ten million yuan shi toward himself. The numbers Yan Tian Dao Ren had divined were an illusion created by Ye Chen's Zhou Tian Yan Hua technique, making it impossible for him to see the true outcome.

"You're cheating." Du Chuan roared suddenly.

"Kid, you can eat anything, but you can't just spout nonsense." Ye Chen drank his wine leisurely.

"You are cheating." Du Chuan stubbornly insisted.

"How about you shake the dice then?" Ye Chen looked at him with interest.

"Fine, I'll do it." Du Chuan didn't hold back and stepped forward.

"I do like your style." Ye Chen didn't object—who shook the dice didn't matter to him. He picked up his wine flask and cup and circled around the table to sit next to Yan Tian Dao Ren.

"Here, have a drink." Ye Chen placed a cup in front of Yan Tian Dao Ren and poured him a full one.

Yan Tian Dao Ren's face darkened completely.

The spectators could barely hold back their laughter. This wasn't offering a drink—it was clearly rubbing it in! Where had the Mu Family found such a troublemaker?

"Are we gambling or not?" Ye Chen asked Du Chuan impatiently.

"We are." Du Chuan slapped the table, sending the three dice flying before smoothly catching them in the dice cup. He shook it rhythmically, the clinking sound still crisp.

This time, Du Chuan shook for a long while, giving Yan Tian Dao Ren plenty of time to divine.

After some time, he finally slammed the dice cup down.

"Guess." Ye Chen said casually; he was still the dealer, just with Du Chuan shaking for him.

"Ten million—big." Yan Tian Dao Ren said flatly, tossing a storage bag onto the table.

"I think it's big too." Ye Chen said thoughtfully.

"Master, should I open it?" Du Chuan looked to Yan Tian Dao Ren.

"Not yet." Yan Tian Dao Ren glanced at Ye Chen beside him. "If I win, I don't want the yuan shi."

"Then what do you want?" Ye Chen continued drinking.

"Your zhen huo." Yan Tian Dao Ren's words made most people's eyes light up, especially those from Ling Dan Ge and the eight princes, who knew Ku Yue wanted Ye Chen's zhen huo. Yan Tian Dao Ren was no fool—compared to ten million yuan shi, the rewards from Ku Yue would be greater.

"Ten million for my zhen huo? You think I'm a newbie?" Ye Chen smirked playfully.

"If that's not enough, I'll add more." Yan Tian Dao Ren said with a mocking smile, determined to win Ye Chen's zhen huo.

"No need for more yuan shi. Just add a slap." Ye Chen turned to him with interest. "If you lose, I'll get to slap you."
