Chapter 484: Displaying Supernatural Powers

"I'm a bit confused," Chen Jun Nan turned around and said. "Shisi Jie, do you think this belongs to any of the immortals from *Da Nao Tian Gong*?"

"Ah?" Cui Shisi felt like Chen Jun Nan was leading her train of thought astray again. "Leader, why are we so certain that our guesses are based on *Da Nao Tian Gong*...?"

"Isn't it obvious? There's the hair magic, the lotus magic... and now this? Is it some kind of silk book?" Chen Jun Nan examined the cool jade piece in his hand, then muttered quietly, "The writing is illegible; it must be a 'heavenly book.' Could it be from Tai Shang Lao Jun or Tai Bai Jin Xing or someone like that...?"

"Uh..." Cui Shisi scratched her head, her face showing a mix of anxiety and frustration as she looked at Chen Jun Nan with a complicated expression. "Leader... even if it really is from *Da Nao Tian Gong*, it doesn't help us at all... Do we even need to think about this stuff?"

"But this jade piece is pretty nice..." Chen Jun Nan wiped the dust off it with his hand and tucked it into his pocket. "I'll find a chance to give it to Dong Jie."

As the two were talking, the door nearby opened, and the man with the bushy beard along with the middle-aged man walked in.

"Oh?" Chen Jun Nan raised an eyebrow. "How did it go? Smoothly?"

"This..." The two exchanged glances, looking as if they had encountered something strange.

"Speak up," Chen Jun Nan said.

The two nodded, and Ma Shier reached out from behind, holding a small flower basket, while Wu Shisan held what looked like a black iron crutch, similar to a hair stick.

"Ah?" Chen Jun Nan stepped forward to examine the flower basket and the iron stick, his confusion growing even more.

"A hair stick and a flower basket...?" Cui Shisi pondered the strangeness of it all.

What on earth were these unrelated items for?

After thinking for a while, Chen Jun Nan realized he had no leads and said to everyone, "Let's not worry about that for now."

He pointed to the door on the south side of the room. "Opening that door leads to the exit. Let's head for the exit first and then figure out how to save Song Qi and Xiao Jiang Shi."

Everyone knew that progressing in the game was the priority, even if the items here were bizarre; they didn't need to understand everything.

When the broadcast announcement sounded, Chen Jun Nan took the lead and opened the door, only for everyone to be puzzled once again.

A sword was stuck into the table in the room, its blade clearly engraved with the two characters, "Shen Tong."

The doors straight ahead and to the left both had the word "exit" written on them.

"Is that it?"

Just as the group started to relax, they suddenly felt something was off. The two doors leading to the exit looked very strange.

The right side of the left door and the left side of the right door had couplets pasted on them at some point.

The upper line read: Men and women, young and old, rich and poor.

The lower line read: Sword, lotus, donkey, basket, flute, book, fan, crutch.

Below the couplet, there was an opening like a ventilation duct, and above it, a large character was written in cursive script: "Xian"!

"Oh no!" Chen Jun Nan threw what he was holding and rushed to the two doors, trying to pull them open, but they were locked tight and wouldn't budge.

"Leader... you..." Cui Shisi also noticed the doors were locked and didn't know what to do. These two doors were clearly different from the others; there were no latches, as if they were secured by some mechanism.

"We need to show great magic... damn *Da Nao Tian Gong*... It's not related at all, but the direction is somewhat similar!" Chen Jun Nan gritted his teeth and said.

He stopped pushing the doors and pulled out the black hair and the jade piece from his pocket, then told the others, "Hand over all the items."

Ma Shier and Wu Shisan didn't dare delay and quickly passed him the flower basket and the black iron hair stick.

Chen Jun Nan carefully laid out all the props on the ground and slowly raised his eyebrows.

"As I thought..." He touched the dirty blue-green floor and turned back to everyone, saying, "This isn't some escape game at all... It's *Ba Xian Guo Hai*."

"*Ba Xian Guo Hai*...?" Everyone looked at the props on the ground, still not quite understanding.

Chen Jun Nan stood up and pointed to the couplet on the wall. "Men and women, young and old, rich and poor—that's eight people. Combined with their magical treasures, isn't that exactly the 'Ba Xian'?"

"What about these things...?"

Chen Jun Nan held up the props and explained to everyone, "The flower basket is Lan Cai He's treasure. The lotus is He Xian Gu's treasure."

"What about the rest?"

After thinking for a moment, Chen Jun Nan held up the hair stick-like iron rod. "When I first saw its size, I thought it was a black metal hair stick... But looking at its shape now, isn't it an 'iron crutch'?"

Once everyone heard Chen Jun Nan's explanation and looked at the hair stick again, they saw it was indeed a miniature iron crutch.

This was Tie Guai Li's treasure.

"As for this jade piece..." Chen Jun Nan paused before saying, "It should be Cao Guo Jiu's 'jade board.'"

Finally, he picked up the clump of black hair. "What misled me the most was this hair marked with 'Shen Tong'... Thinking carefully, it's not human hair at all; it's 'donkey hair.'"

"Donkey...?" After hearing Chen Jun Nan's analysis, everyone suddenly understood. "Zhang Guo Lao's donkey?"

"Add the 'sword' on the table, and we have six of the *Ba Xian Guo Hai* treasures. We can't get out of this game on our own; we need all eight treasures to open these two doors."

Chen Jun Nan's insightful analysis made the situation even more challenging for everyone.

At that moment, Song Qi and Jiang Shi were continuously "closing doors," thinking that once the group reached the exit, they could escape. But who could have guessed they were stuck right at the exit?

"As the saying goes, '*Ba Xian Guo Hai*, each showing their magic'... I should have realized this was about 'eight magics.' After all, the ground under our feet has always been blue-green, representing the sea. This creepy game is called 'Peng Lai,' which is the legendary Peng Lai Pavilion where the Ba Xian gathered and then had to leave..."

"What should we do...?" Ma Shier asked anxiously. "Leader, where can we find the remaining 'treasures'?"

"They must be scattered in the various rooms." Chen Jun Nan narrowed his eyes and said, "Do you remember which numbered rooms we found the 'treasures' in?"

"I remember." The middle-aged man, Wu Shisan, spoke up. "We got this 'iron crutch' right at the start of the game in a room, and after passing through another room, we got the 'flower basket.' So, the rooms we found treasures in were 'two' and 'four.'"

"That makes sense," Chen Jun Nan said. "If I'm not mistaken, the rooms I found 'treasures' in were 'six,' 'eight,' and 'twelve,' plus the one we're in now, 'sixteen.'"

"Ah!" Cui Shisi asked, "As the saying goes, good things come in pairs—does that mean all the 'even-numbered' rooms have 'treasures'?"
