Chapter 354: Punishing Evil

As soon as Han Yi Mo finished speaking, everyone felt the entire room tremble slightly.

“What…?” Chu Tian Qiu frowned at him. “What do you mean by ‘can’t live without Qi Xia’?”

“You’ve all been abandoned by the ‘Jiu Shi Zhu’…” Han Yi Mo said with a trembling voice. “How can you still be boasting about planning for the future…? No ‘Pei Jue’ in any novel can ever succeed…!”

“Pei Jue…?”

Both Chu Tian Qiu and Yan Zhi Chun were stunned, thinking the man in front of them must be insane. They were both prominent figures in “Zhong Yan Zhi Di”—how could they be someone else’s “Pei Jue”?

“What are we going to do…? What are we going to do?!” Han Yi Mo said anxiously. “What part of the plot is this…?”

Zhao Yi Sheng turned and patted Han Yi Mo on the shoulder. “Brother… calm down. Things aren’t as bad as you’re making them out to be.”

“Isn’t it bad enough?!” Han Yi Mo exclaimed. “The situation is already a total mess!! I’m the ‘Zhu Jiao,’ and I’ve lost the ‘Jiu Shi Zhu’!”

No one could follow Han Yi Mo’s train of thought and just stared at him blankly.

“Oh no…” Han Yi Mo squatted down, clutching his hair, and everyone felt the entire teaching building shake again. “What should I do next…? Who can protect me?!”

Yun Yao sensed that the man in front of her seemed dangerous, so she stepped in front of Tian Tian and looked at him puzzled. “Why don’t you try to protect yourself?”

“How am I supposed to protect myself?! What if I face problems I can’t solve?!” Han Yi Mo lifted his head with a frenzied expression. “What if it’s like the real world… and there’s an earthquake here?!”

No sooner had he spoken than the entire room began to shake continuously.

“You, wait a minute…”

Chu Tian Qiu sensed something was wrong. Was this man another “Hui Xiang Zhe”? Why was he someone they’d never heard of before?

Could he really make the ground shake?

“If this place is like the outside world… and goes through that kind of earthquake…” Han Yi Mo continued, head bowed and body trembling, “If the walls crack… and the ceiling breaks…”

Before he could finish, fine cracks appeared on the walls amid the subtle shaking, and dust started falling from the ceiling.

Jin Yuan Xun felt a sense of dread and instantly appeared in front of Han Yi Mo, pinning him to the ground.

“Hey! Enough!” He grabbed Han Yi Mo’s collar and shouted, “What’s your ability? Why are you saying things like that?”

“Damn it…” Han Yi Mo was startled by Jin Yuan Xun. “You bully… You people grabbing a girl like this—it’s such a common trope in novels… How can a ‘E Ba’ grab the ‘Zhu Jiao’s’ collar?!”

“What…?”

A howling wind rose in the distance, as if something was hurtling toward them at high speed.

Zhao Yi Sheng was about to speak when several white objects suddenly dropped in front of him.

He paused, realizing that lying on the ground at his feet were several pieces of broken silver.

At the same moment, pieces of broken silver fell in front of Yun Yao, Tian Tian, Tong Yi, Lao Lv, and Li Xiang Ling.

These pieces of silver rained down like hail inside the room.

Crack!!

A sharp sound rang out as a dark object burst through the glass and hovered in the air above everyone, radiating a chilling aura.

Looking closely, it was a massive pure black sword, like a poisonous snake floating in the air, its tip aimed at the people in the room.

“Those judged as ‘Shan’ receive one tael and seven qian of silver… Those judged as ‘E’… will be pierced through the dantian by ‘Qi Hei’.” Han Yi Mo said with a cold laugh. “Let me see… who’s more ‘E’—me or you?”

Jin Yuan Xun felt a chill and immediately released Han Yi Mo, cautiously stepping back.

“Qi Hei…?”

The massive sword hovering in the air kept twisting its tip, sometimes pointing at Han Yi Mo, sometimes at Jin Yuan Xun, as if truly deciding whom to attack.

After a moment, the sword turned toward Jin Yuan Xun and then shot forward with a terrifying whooshing sound, stabbing straight at his lower abdomen faster than anyone could react.

Jin Yuan Xun quickly shut his eyes and vanished from the spot just as the sword tip was about to touch him.

The black sword didn’t stop; it slashed through the ground, overturning a pile of tables and chairs. Everyone in the room scrambled to dodge, with Lao Lv hurriedly shielding Tong Yi in the corner and Yun Yao pulling Tian Tian behind her.

No matter what this ability was, it was utterly terrifying.

One person controlling a flying sword to attack, while another could vanish on the spot—this surreal showdown was like something out of a superhero story, leaving everyone helpless as they scattered for cover.

The sword flipped over half the tables and chairs, then wheeled back through the air, letting out a dragon-like roar as if unsatisfied, and targeted Jin Yuan Xun again.

“Hey…” Yun Yao felt something was off. The sword was enormous—if it kept flying around the room, no one would survive. “Han Yi Mo, are you trying to kill everyone here?”

Han Yi Mo turned his head and said with a bitter smile, “Do you think that sword is really under my control…?”

“What…?”

“Anyone who didn’t get silver, run. After Jin Yuan Xun, it’s your turn.” Han Yi Mo said despondently. “I probably can’t escape either.”

“You can’t control this sword?!”

“That’s right.” Han Yi Mo nodded. “It will keep slaughtering the wicked. None of us can get away.”

No sooner had he spoken than the “Qi Hei Jian” accelerated through the air again, like a dart shooting straight at Jin Yuan Xun. Jin Yuan Xun quickly shut his eyes and reappeared on the other side of the room.

Yun Yao hesitated for a moment, then looked around at everyone. Among them… whose “Hui Xiang” could counter this sword?

Chu Tian Qiu stood motionless in the center of the room, slowly raising the corners of his mouth.

“As expected, only ‘Shen’ can do things like this… This is perfect…”

The Qi Hei Jian swept past Chu Tian Qiu several times, its massive sword energy making his clothes flap wildly. He slowly turned his head and said to Yun Yao, “Yun Yao, you should go. Take Li Xiang Ling with you.”

Yun Yao turned cautiously at his words. “Really?”

“Really.” Chu Tian Qiu nodded. “Jin Yuan Xun is trapped. I can’t keep you here anymore. Go.”

Yun Yao noticed his expression was strange, as if he had given up on something or finally understood it.

“Xiao Li, Tian Tian, let’s go.” Yun Yao said. “I don’t want to stay in this place for another second.”

“Okay.” Both nodded at her and slipped along the wall, one after the other, out of the classroom.

In the room, the Qi Hei Jian was still flying, its target always Jin Yuan Xun. Fortunately, the sword seemed somewhat cumbersome, so Jin Yuan Xun could barely hold on, but avoiding it while protecting others made it increasingly difficult.

“Zhao Yi Sheng.” Chu Tian Qiu suddenly called out. “Do it. I can make you the deputy leader of ‘Tian Tang Kou’.”

“Deputy leader…?” Zhao Yi Sheng paused.

“That’s right. Whatever you want, tell me—I’ll try to fulfill it.” Chu Tian Qiu nodded. “From now on, both of you follow me.”

“Is that so…?”

Zhao Yi Sheng thought for a moment, then frowned slightly. The Qi Hei Jian in the air instantly turned into a cloud of black sand and scattered on the ground.

Han Yi Mo was stunned for a moment and turned to look at Zhao Yi Sheng.

Why did this person have the power to destroy the Qi Hei Jian?

Why did everyone have hidden identities?

“What part of the plot is this now?”
