The tall boy who had just joined the Jidao team glanced at the venue and then at Xiaoxiao, saying lazily:
"Isn't it just this?"
Xiaoxiao asked while doing some stretching exercises:
"What's wrong?"
"From what that Hu Laohu said, we can kill people, right?" the man asked.
"Of course." Xiaoxiao nodded. "This time, our goal is to kill the opponents."
"Do we really need to go through all this trouble?" The man shook his head and said, "Why not just kill them downstairs?"
"If it were that easy, we wouldn't have called you." Xiaoxiao replied irritably, "We've already paid the deposit, so you need to provide proper service."
"Alright, alright, I get it."
"Ah..." Lao Sun sighed from the side, "Isn't this just bullying? The three of us have already Huixiang."
"It's not clear yet who's bullying whom." Xiaoxiao looked far off at Zhang Shan and said, "Be careful of that big guy and that girl."
"Is that little girl really that tough?" Lao Sun asked.
"That's right." Xiaoxiao nodded. "Although her Huixiang isn't strong, she's skilled in martial arts herself. In a one-on-one fight, even you wouldn't stand a chance against her."
"Wow..." Lao Sun exclaimed in surprise, "Then I need to be extra careful."
"What about the one with the floral arm tattoo in the middle?" the tall man asked. "Do we ignore him?"
"Probably not necessary." Xiaoxiao said, "Last time, I killed him directly, so he's likely just here to make up the numbers."
Xiaoxiao recalled that the man with the floral arm tattoo had participated with her in the Diniu black bear hunt, but he had only been responsible for holding up the iron plate the whole time, probably just a reckless brute with more brawn than brains.
"Okay." Lao Sun nodded.
The three of them focused intently on Zhang Shan and Li Xiangling, pondering strategies to deal with them.
"So, how should we do this?" the tall man asked. "One at a time, or all three of us together?"
"That depends on them." Xiaoxiao said, "I'll go first. No matter who their first person is, I'll push them straight off."
The two nodded and looked together toward the other side.
Zhang Shan slowly stepped onto the log bridge and said:
"You two ready?"
"No problem." Qiao Jiajin and Li Xiangling nodded.
"Then let's go and give this group of Jidao crazies a hard time." Zhang Shan rolled his shoulders and slowly walked toward the center of the log bridge.
Xiaoxiao's face turned cold as she took off her jacket and stepped forward.
Seeing this, Qiao Jiajin on the other side couldn't help but curse:
"Damn... What kind of muscles does that girl have?"
Li Xiangling looked on with wide eyes, showing a face full of envy:
"Amazing..."
With the sound of footsteps on the steel, the man and woman stood in the center of the steel beam.
"Clang"!!
A huge bell rang, and Xiaoxiao smiled.
"Zhang Shan, show me what you've got."
"To deal with you, I don't even need to use my Huixiang."
"Oh?" Xiaoxiao's smile grew even more sinister. "You're not planning to rely on your bare body to clash with my Huixiang, are you?"
"Stop talking!!"
Zhang Shan immediately extended his hands, tensing his rock-hard muscles and pushing toward her.
Xiaoxiao didn't back down, raising her arms to grip his hands.
The two pairs of arms, as thick as thighs, were locked in a stalemate, veins bulging as the steel under their feet creaked ominously.
Zhang Shan spread his legs shoulder-width apart for stability, while Xiaoxiao positioned hers one in front and one behind, both choosing stances for maximum force as they pushed forward.
This pure test of strength was simple:
Whoever ran out of energy first would lose.
After about a minute of deadlock, Qiao Jiajin turned his head and said:
"Kungfu girl, it's your turn."
"Understood!" Li Xiangling smiled, leaped into the air onto the steel beam, and dashed toward the two at high speed.
"Hey?" On the other side, Lao Sun noticed and exclaimed in surprise, "They're sending another person."
"No big deal." The tall man said lazily, "Xiaoxiao will call us if she can't hold on."
"But can she beat two people?!" Lao Sun asked.
"The bridge is too narrow." The tall man replied. "There's no room for two opponents to fight side by side, and besides, this is a strength contest—the girl won't be much help."
Lao Sun watched the situation on the bridge with doubt, but a few seconds later, his eyes widened.
Li Xiangling ran quickly up to Zhang Shan's back without slowing down. She lowered her stance and slid through his straddled legs, emerging between Zhang Shan and Xiaoxiao.
Zhang Shan reacted immediately, releasing his grip and stepping back.
Li Xiangling, now on the ground, executed a move called Five Dragons Coiling Pillars. Her legs spun like propellers in a circle before striking Xiaoxiao's legs hard.
"Lower body unstable!" Li Xiangling shouted.
She kicked with her left leg at Xiaoxiao's left and her right at the right, neatly disrupting Xiaoxiao's balance.
Xiaoxiao hadn't anticipated this sudden move and felt her feet leave the ground as her body uncontrollably fell backward.
Li Xiangling did a carp flip to stand up, then followed with an aerial flying kick, stomping down from above toward Xiaoxiao's chest.
Xiaoxiao reacted swiftly, crossing her arms in front of her chest to protect herself.
Li Xiangling adjusted by angling her foot to make contact with Xiaoxiao's arms, then used the force to propel herself into a Rabbit Kicks Eagle maneuver. She stamped down hard, leaped up again, flipped in the air, and dashed past Xiaoxiao toward the other end of the bridge.
"Hey!" Qiao Jiajin watched excitedly from the side. "Kungfu girl! You're so sharp!"
Zhang Shan didn't hesitate, seizing the moment while Xiaoxiao was down to grab her shoulders and try to push her off the bridge.
But Xiaoxiao clung tightly to the edge of the log bridge with her hands, her immense strength making it impossible for Zhang Shan to budge her.
Zhang Shan cursed under his breath and had to give up, circling around Xiaoxiao to follow Li Xiangling toward the other end.
Seeing the trouble, Lao Sun quickly got onto the bridge and blocked Li Xiangling's path.
"Hey! Stop right there!" Lao Sun shouted urgently.
"Clang"!
Another bell rang.
Li Xiangling didn't take Lao Sun seriously and was thinking about how to take him down when suddenly her foot caught on something, sending her stumbling forward.
Fortunately, she reacted quickly, turning it into a forward roll to stand up.
Looking back, she saw that what had tripped her was a few stones.
A few stones placed on the steel beam.
"What?"
She stared at the scene in confusion, puzzled.
Were these stones already there?
If they were on flat ground, she should have noticed them earlier—how could she have tripped?
"Ah..." Lao Sun shook his head helplessly, "I told you to stop, didn't I? Hope you didn't hurt yourself."
Li Xiangling slowly stepped back, with Zhang Shan stopping behind her. The two eyed Lao Sun warily.
At that moment, Xiaoxiao slowly got up. She turned around, and together with Lao Sun, they formed a pincer.
"Though we're cautious, we still underestimated you." Xiaoxiao said, "Now that you're in the encirclement, don't blame us for being ruthless."
Xiaoxiao was about to say more when she felt someone pat her on the back.
"Big muscular woman, hold on... Let me speak first."
