Di Hu turned back, pointing to the door of the room.
“Isn’t there still a way?”
Yan Zhichun and Di She stared at the door for a moment.
“From the geographical position… if we go out through this door, won’t we end up right in the middle of that group of Can Yuzhe?” Yan Zhichun said with a furrowed brow. “The situation would be even more troublesome than it is now.”
“Troublesome is troublesome.” Di Hu nodded. “But it’s no use just sitting here thinking about what’s outside the wall. We don’t have that much time to figure out what’s out there.”
Yan Zhichun knew Di Hu was right; time was pressing, and if one path was blocked, they really should try another.
“Then let’s keep a low profile…” Yan Zhichun said to Di Hu. “Don’t make too much of a scene.”
“Don’t worry.” Di Hu replied. “I’m always low-key, and we’ve got a plan set. It’s time to put our own plan into action.”
“A plan…?” Di She asked, looking a bit stunned. “You two have a plan?”
Di Hu didn’t respond. He just walked over to the door, reached out, and pulled it open. Outside, a dense crowd of people filled the space, and the moment the door opened, a few lost their balance and stumbled into the room, crashing right into Di Hu’s arms.
The noisy Can Yuzhe fell silent in an instant as they saw an imposing figure with a tiger-like head step out.
Di Hu was taller and more imposing than most of the Can Yuzhe. He scanned the surroundings and noticed that one of the Shengxiao was standing in the crowd.
His eyes locked onto that plump Di Hou.
Ridiculously, no matter how you looked at it, this plump Di Hou seemed like just another hairy and ugly Can Yuzhe, and he hadn’t caused any stir by blending in.
It seemed he had intended to lead the people behind him through the crowd as if nothing had happened, but Di Hu’s sudden appearance caught him off guard.
After all, Di Hou didn’t have much interaction with Di Hu and had no idea what his role was.
Di Hu took a deep breath and shouted:
“Make way!”
The Can Yuzhe in front of him were so startled by the shout that they stumbled back, scrambling to clear a path.
Yan Zhichun, standing behind him, sensed something was off and quickly stepped forward, pulling Di Hu aside and whispering:
“Hey! Aren’t we supposed to keep a low profile?!”
“Ah! Zhichun!”
Jiang Ruoxue, who was behind Di Hou, spotted Yan Zhichun and waved eagerly, as if seeing a long-lost relative.
“Ruoxue!”
“I’ve already been as low-key as I can…” Di Hu responded. Then he glanced at the people in front of him and shouted again:
“You’ve all come here, so at least do it in an orderly way! Line up on the left and right! Clear the middle path for me!!”
As soon as he finished, the crowd stirred into action. In just a few seconds, everyone had pressed against the walls on both sides, leaving the central path completely open.
At that moment, Di Hou could only pretend everything was fine and had the people behind him do the same, sticking to the wall. Better to avoid trouble and see what Di Hu was up to first.
Once the crowd dispersed, Ren Hou emerged in the hallway with many Renji Shengxiao, apparently having been hidden among the people all along.
“Teacher…” Ren Hou walked up to Di Hu and said quietly, “Everyone’s gathered now.”
“Good, that’s about it. Time to carry out the plan.” Di Hu slowly stepped forward into the center of the hallway.
Di Hou watched Di Hu with great interest, wondering what he was planning.
Di Hu took a deep breath and then yelled three words that Di Hou never could have anticipated:
“Rebellion!!!”
The massive roar made the entire hallway shake.
“Damn!” Di Hou was so startled that he pressed himself tightly against the wall, his mind going blank for a moment.
Was this the kind of person on his team?
A flood of thoughts raced through his mind. If his teammates were all like this, he might have to abandon the plan altogether.
“Tianjie!! Come out and face your end!!” Di Hu bellowed at the top of his lungs.
The tiger-like roar echoed through the hallway, and doors on both sides began to fly open as countless Shengxiao poked their heads out, faces filled with terror.
In their room, Di Shu and Chu Tianqiu were waiting when Di Hu’s booming voice echoed through the door.
“Heh.” Chu Tianqiu chuckled lightly. “So your resistance army has teammates like that?”
Di Shu awkwardly scratched his head. “Who would’ve thought our bold leader would end up going with a plan that even a dog would shake its head at?”
“It’s a good thing.” Chu Tianqiu put on his coat and headed to the door. “This way, our resistance army can sort out our teammates in just three seconds.”
“Leader, you make it sound even better than a song.” Di Shu said. “Let’s go.”
Di Gou was lounging lazily on the sofa, with Lin Jin, Xiao Xiao, Zheng Yingxiong, and several Jidao members around him.
Everyone else looked anxious, but Di Gou seemed on the verge of falling asleep.
“Hey…” Xiao Xiao said, puzzled, “Didn’t you hear that? Someone’s shouting about rebellion.”
“I’m the type who goes deaf and blind once I’m off duty—I didn’t hear a thing.” Di Gou replied absentmindedly. “Even if I did, I might’ve misheard… Maybe they said ‘dinner’s ready’ or something.”
Lin Jin glanced at Di Gou helplessly. “And there was ‘Tianjie come out and face your end.’”
“What about some frog and sushi… That’s got nothing to do with me.” Di Gou picked up an open book and covered his face with it. “This is such a hassle… Can’t they just let me rest?”
“But you’re excited.” Zheng Yingxiong pointed out.
“Oh?” Di Gou shifted the book slightly to reveal one eye, looking at Zheng Yingxiong.
“You’re giving off a strong ‘excitement’ vibe.” Zheng Yingxiong sniffed the air. “Is it because you think now’s not the time?”
“Ha ha.” Di Gou closed the book and slowly sat up, his expression turning more serious. “Of course… We can’t be the vanguard. Let those brave Shengxiao clear the path for us first.”
Seeing that his shout had stunned everyone, Di Hu felt the atmosphere was just right and he had to do something.
But what?
He looked down at the wooden floor beneath his feet, and an idea suddenly struck him.
He slowly raised his hands, clasped them together, and slammed them down hard like spiking a ball.
A massive crack appeared instantly, spreading more than ten meters forward in a flash.
Di Hou’s eyes widened again at the sight.
The Train… It had a crack?
Theoretically, the Train was absolutely indestructible—this was strictly forbidden.
No matter how bold someone was, they wouldn’t dare create a crack on the Train.
